Chapter 12

Knock!

Knock!

Knock!

I sighed heavily. What time is it?

I got up while groaning and opened the door, to see a smiling Kris.

Who now?

I don't like talking to other people let alone socialize with them. Kris likes to do those stuff but not me. I'd rather eat pizza at home while watching my favorite movies instead of meeting new people everyday.

She groaned and pushed herself inside.

I entered the bathroom and began to wash off yesterdays content of off my body.

After I've done showering, I came out of the shower to witness no Kris and just the clothes laid out on the bed with a note beside it.

Your clothes sucks. THERES NOT EVEN ONE FREAKING DRESS. Answer me, are you even a woman? Bitch go shopping.

Anyways, I found some in my clothes that could probably fit you. Gotta run some errands, wear this. And I mean it. Toodles. ;)

PS: Meet us at the living room ;^

Tsk, typical Kris. Running errands my foot. She just doesn't want to argue with me.

I have no choice but to wear what she picked.

....

Typical Kris, making me look like a business woman.

Note to self, never let Kris pick what to wear ever again.

Maybe next time she'll hand me clown clothes and force me to wear it.

The horror.

I decided to not waste more time and wear it.

I entered the living room to witness a lot of people wearing pretty dresses and formal suits.

Who are they?

I immediately spotted Kris wearing a dress that reaches her knees. She beamed at me and signaled for me to come over.

They all smiled at me except one of course.

Before I could ask anything more, everyone went silent and then Darren, from what I remember was his name, is now in front of us smiling ear to ear.

He then waved his hand and a butler who had his head down bowing, handed Darren a paper and spoke.

Darren then opened the envelop and pulled out a bond paper with super weird colors pasted on it.

He smiled happily and then turned to us.

He handed the paper to someone behind him and suddenly, in a blink of an eye, it turned from one copy into a ton of them.

My heart skipped a beat. I didn't believe my eyes.

I looked at Kris wondering if she saw it and she did. She held the same shocked face as me.

How did that happen?

Then the man began to hand us the copies one by one, until everyone has copies of the paper.

For a moment, I just stared at the paper wondering if it's just a mind trick but considering the fact that I can feel it, it's real.

Kris was waving the paper she has in the air, seeing if it's real too.

His eyes remained on mine until he spoke again.

Everyone nodded except for me. What's with his stare?

Doesn't he know it's rude to stare at someone randomly?

I know I'm pretty but-

Shut up.

My bad.

We all then started to follow his lead, and when we got out at the front, I was shocked to see a lot of limos parked in front of us.

Darren told us to base our seats on the paper and what color is it.

The limousines have colored flags so from then, I knew where to take a seat.

Someone was already seated inside so I sat at the farthest from her.

She looked at me and smiled. I gave a nod and turned my head elsewhere.

She tried to start a conversation which made me feel a little bit uncomfortable.

First of all, what does she mean by "what pack" I'm from and why does she want to know whose daughter I am? Her questions are giving me a headache.

Nonetheless, I spoke to her and answered her questions. I just change the topic when I feel that the question is invading.

Questions...

Then it hit me. The situation I am in right now, is all because of what Tobias and Millie schemed.

I seriously have a lot of questions for them. And I'm desperate for an answer.
