Chapter Eleven – Yours to Keep

Chapter Eleven

Revenge

YOURS TO KEEP

Performed by The Dead South

“Look at her, Eddie! Look at what you married. Fucking whore.”

The pleasure I’d felt at seeing her fear in the dim light of the kitchen camera right before she’d passed out was replaced with rage.

Those tears would work their magic on the lawman. He’d fall right into her trap.

He’d want to kiss it and make it all better.

He’d put his dick in her and promise to fix whatever was wrong.

But he couldn’t.

“Promised herself to you. Promised you loyalty. And all she does is lie and cheat and break that promise.” My hands twisted in my silk shirt, ruining it, and I forced myself to smooth it out again.

“She’ll pay for it. She’ll pay. And if the stupid sheriff tries to intercede, he’ll pay right along with her. Him and his kid and the little dog too.”

I chuckled. The Wicked Witch had failed. But I wouldn’t.

I knew just what to do this time.

Peace replaced the rage.

“I’ll get what’s owed to us, Eddie. No escape for her now. Third time's the charm, right? We’ll get our revenge.”

And then, I’d put her in the ground where she’d never be able to break another vow again. I kept that part to myself because Eddie might not like it. He liked having a punching bag. He liked having a warm body to fuck.

But he wouldn’t have her.

The whore needed to die.
