One year later

The sky above Delhi was painted in soft hues of dusk-blues melting into pinks, and pinks surrendering to gold.
The grand farmhouse buzzed with celebration again. Fairy lights danced in the trees, laughter echoed in the corridors, and love floated in the air like it had never left.
It was kaashi and Rudra's wedding day.
---
Divya stood by the mirror in a deep green silk saree, a soft glow on her face that only love could bring.
She smiled to herself as she adjusted her bangles, her eyes briefly meeting the small mangalsutra that rested on her collarbone.
It was a quiet reminder of everything she had walked through-and the man who had walked back for her.
Behind her, a pair of arms wrapped gently around her waist.
Purv.
"Still as breathtaking as you were a year ago," he whispered into her ear.
She rolled her eyes, laughing softly. "You said the same thing yesterday."
"I mean it everyday."
Their eyes met in the mirror, full of unspoken promises. He leaned forward and kissed her shoulder gently before resting his chin on it. "You ready to watch our bestfriends get their forever?"
Divya nodded, eyes soft. "They're perfect for eachother."
"Like us," he murmured.
She chuckled. "Except less dramatic."
He grinned. "Debatable."

Outside, the mandap glowed in golden light as kaashi walked down the aisle, hey eyes brimming with tears when she saw Rudra waiting for her, eyes fixed, heart full.
As she sat beside him, her fingers trembled slightly. He noticed.
He reached over and gently took her hand. "Scared?"
She shook her head. "No. Just... overwhelmed. I used to dream of this day but never thought it would come."
Rudra smiled, brushing a tear off her cheek. "I did. From the very beginning."
And that's when Divya's voice echoed in kaashi's mind:
"Some people aren't just friends or lovers. They're home. You just know."
As the vows were exchanged, as love made it's rounds again, Divya and purv stood together at the back-his hand in her hers, her heart in his.
"We made it," she whispered.
Purv kissed the back of her hand. "Always knew we would."
And just like that-
Two love stories found their forever.
Not perfect.
Not without scars.
But real.
Raw.
And meant to be.
