Chapter 34 Vidorak #2

He wanted her so badly it made him lose all sense of reason. She had pulled him from the darkness and given him a taste of love. But she had lied to him as well, lied to her own detriment. And Vidorak still felt angry at her for that.

He gripped her waist and pressed her back against the wall. Her arms went around his neck, and she melted into him, compliantly. He pulled her head back so that he could see her eyes.

“Are you sure, little witch? I don’t think I can be gentle.”

Her eyes lit up, and she whispered at his lips, “I want you to give me everything.”

With a biting kiss, he stepped back, allowing her just an inch of space, then commanded, “Undress.”

With the way lust pounded through his veins, if he tried to help her, he’d end up tearing another one of her dresses.

She unbuttoned her dress, eyes not leaving his, and let it pool at her feet. Her naked breasts swayed as she pushed down her undergarments. Her hard nipples grazed his chest when she stood back up.

Then her hands went to his trousers, rubbing down the length of his erection. “Should I undress you too?”

Without waiting for an answer, she undid his trousers, springing free his hard cock. She squeezed him, running her hand over his length twice before he grabbed her wrist and stopped her.

“Turn around.”

She complied, turning to face the wall. Hand between her shoulder blades, he pushed to bend her forward. He caressed the curve of her back, relishing the softness.

When he got to her bottom, he gave it a stinging smack, causing her to jump in surprise. He doubted his powerful witch had ever received a spanking.

Caressing where he had spanked her, he leaned to her ear. “Never lie to me again about things that put you at risk.”

She actually pouted at that. “I didn’t lie. I omitted information that wasn’t for you to know.”

That was the wrong answer.

He gave another, harder spank to her backside. Then he growled, “Everything that has to do with you is my right to know.”

Her eyes widened, and her mouth opened, most likely to argue, but she closed it after a second.

“Good girl,” he praised. “Now I want to hear you say it.”

She hesitated for one too many seconds, and he gave her another swat.

“Fine. I won’t lie to you.”

He rubbed her slightly reddened bottom. “Good.”

Then he pushed apart her legs and kneeled. He ran his tongue over her glistening sex. She tasted like perfection. She tasted like his.

He licked and sucked at her until she squirmed in his hold.

Then he thrust his tongue into her tight core, wanting to swallow every drop of her.

He pinched her clit, drawing more moans from her throat.

He didn’t let up in his ravishing, continuing to lick and rub at her until she was trembling around him.

He didn’t give her a second to recover and turned her while her legs were still unsteady. With a smooth motion, he picked her up and pushed her back against the wall as her legs encircled him.

True to what he said earlier, he entered her hard and unapologetically.

She gasped at his sudden intrusion but tightened her hold on him.

He pounded into her mercilessly, devoid of any control.

With each stroke, he poured the emotions of the recent days.

The need, the heartache, the anger—all of it.

He slammed into her until she was the only thing imprinted on his soul.

When he felt her clench around him, his own release followed, his seed filling her completely. He closed his eyes and caught his breath, still buried deep inside her.

Regrettably, he lifted her off him, then carried her toward her bed. He grabbed a washcloth to clean them both up.

He was wiping her thighs when she grabbed his wrist. Looking up, he found her staring at him with half-lidded eyes.

“I love you, orc. For so long my world only contained anger and pain. Happiness wasn’t just a liability, it was an impossibility. But then there you were.” Her hands skimmed his face, light as feathers. “You protected me, healed me, loved me. But you know what cut me the most?”

She said the last part quietly, as if she were letting him in on a secret. “You never looked away. No matter what evil, bloody parts of me I showed you. You never looked away.” She gave him a slight smile before removing her hand. “The mate bond definitely knows what it is doing.”

How she managed to utterly take his breath away at the most unexpected times, he didn’t know. Her freely given truth, laced with such vulnerability, was the most precious gift to him.

“My little witch, I didn’t fall in love with you because of the bond.

I fell in love because you have awakened me.

You feel too much, but I spent years feeling nothing.

I thought it was what I wanted, but I was a fool.

How can I go back to blindness now that I can see?

You, my fiercely powerful mate, bring color to my life.

There is not a part of you that I am not completely and utterly in love with.

Especially your wild and stubborn nature. ”

Wordlessly, she sat up and touched her lips to his. Their kiss was soft and sweet, cementing the words that had passed between them.

When he got into bed, she curled into him with her head on his chest and their legs intertwined.

He couldn’t see her eyes, but could tell she was still very much awake.

After their conversation, he wasn’t sure how easily he would be able to sleep.

Their words were sweet, but dangerous circumstances still loomed above them.

He was moving his hand up and down her back when she suddenly reached for her head in pain. Vidorak held her, unsure of how to help, feeling useless while she groaned in pain.

“The town wards,” she said with a pained breath. “He’s crossed it.”
