Bonus Material While Apart
The following chapters were originally part of Claimed at First Sight but were removed during the editing process when I tightened the story around Mia and Maximo.
They take place in Sicily before Mia and her family leave for Chicago and offer a little more insight into what was unfolding around them at the time, including events connected to Mari and Mateo’s story, the shifting balance of power within the De Marco family,
and some of the circumstances that begin pushing Mia’s world toward Chicago.
Although these scenes weren’t essential to Mia and Maximo’s main story, I loved the extra glimpse they gave into what was happening in Sicily behind the scenes, and I thought some readers might enjoy seeing them too.
So if you’re curious to spend a little more time in Sicily, see more of the wider world surrounding Mia’s family, and discover a few of the events taking place just before everything changes for her, these bonus chapters offer an extra look at that part of the story.
