Chapter - 32

The first hint of dawn, soft and shy, peeked through the curtains, painting the room in gentle colors.

Nani stretched, letting out a sleepy groan as he snuggled deeper into the warmth of the bed.

Sky was already awake, his body a comforting presence beside Nani, his breathing a soft rhythm against his skin.

"Morning," Sky whispered, his voice still a bit rough from sleep.

Nani just hummed, too comfy to move. The air still held the sweet, lingering scent of their night together, a reminder of their quiet celebration.

He yawned and stretched again, feeling completely at peace.

"Don't wanna get up," he mumbled into the pillow.

Sky chuckled, a deep, warm sound. He shifted, wrapping an arm around Nani's waist and pulling him close.

"We have to, eventually," he said, but he didn't sound like he was in a hurry.

He kissed Nani's forehead, then trailed kisses down his neck, his breath making Nani's skin tingle.

"But first," he whispered near Nani's ear, "we've got a bit of cleaning up to do."

Nani made another sleepy noise, but Sky's playful tone made him curious.

"Cleaning up?" he asked, his voice sounding a little bit innocent.

"Mmm-hmm," Sky agreed, his hands starting to touch Nani in a gentle, teasing way.

"After last night, I think we could both use a good wash."

Nani turned to look at him, his eyes still heavy with sleep, but a mischievous sparkle was starting to appear.

"Are you suggesting a shower, Mr. Sky?" he asked, his voice dropping to a low, playful purr.

Sky grinned, the corners of his eyes crinkling.

"I am," he confirmed.

He sat up, gently pulling Nani up with him. "And I'll help you get there."

Nani let out a little yelp of surprise as Sky lifted him, carrying him with an ease that still amazed him.

He settled into Sky's arms, a soft smile on his face.

Sky carried him into the bathroom next door.

The cool tile felt nice against Nani's skin, a contrast to the warmth of Sky's body.

The shower was already on, sending up a soft mist that made the room feel hazy and warm.

"Your turn to be a little bit bad," Sky murmured, his eyes twinkling as he started to take off his own clothes.

Nani watched him, a slow blush creeping up his neck.

Last night had been an outpouring of all their pent-up feelings and desires, a shedding of fears.

This morning, Nani felt a new kind of boldness growing, thanks to the sheer comfort and safety he felt with Sky.

As Sky stepped into the shower, the warm water washing over him, he reached out to Nani.

"Come on," he invited, holding out his hand.

Nani hesitated for just a second, then stepped into the warm spray.

The water felt amazing, washing away the last bits of sleep and, even better, the last traces of his old worries.

Sky's hands were on him instantly, gently washing him with soap.

While Sky washed Nani's back, Nani leaned his head against Sky's shoulder, the warm water and Sky's touch making him feel incredibly relaxed and a little bit excited.

He whispered, his voice low and just for Sky to hear,

"You know," he started, catching his breath a little,

"you're getting rid of a title, Mr. Sky."

Sky paused, his hands stilling on Nani. He gently tilted Nani's chin up, looking into his eyes.

"Oh?" he asked, a playful curiosity in his voice. "And what title would that be?"

Nani's smile grew wider, a shy, proud look in his eyes.

"The virgin mob boss," he whispered,

a hint of triumph in his voice.

"It's officially retired. Thanks to me."

Sky's eyes widened for a second in pretend shock, then a huge grin spread across his face.

He let out a low, rumbling laugh that Nani could feel in his chest.

"Well, well, well," he murmured, his voice full of amusement and something softer, something more loving.

He pulled Nani closer, their wet bodies pressing together.

"You're getting a little too cheeky for your own good, Nani."

He kissed Nani deeply, their playful words forgotten in the rush of feeling, the morning shower becoming another private, intimate moment in their new life together.

.....

Morning sunlight spilled across the dining room.

For once, the mansion didn't feel like a fortress.

It felt...

Normal.

Almost.

Nani sat at the breakfast table, happily stealing strawberries from Sky's plate.

Sky didn't even complain.

Dew sat across from them, drinking coffee while Tee stood beside him with a folder.

Dew glanced at Tee.

"You're looking handsome today."

Tee nearly dropped the folder.

"I'm literally wearing the same shirt from yesterday."

"Exactly."

"How is that a compliment?"

"Consistency is attractive."

Tee stared at him.

"You flirt like a divorced uncle."

Dew grinned.

"And yet you're blushing."

"I'm not."

"You are."

"I'm going to leave."

"Then I'll follow."

Nani slowly looked between them.

"...Should I leave you two alone?"

Tee pointed at him.

"Please."

Dew immediately shook his head.

"No, stay."

Tee sighed.

"Of course."

---

Meanwhile, Sky was quietly cutting Nani's pancakes into smaller pieces.

Nani stared.

"Sky."

"Hm?"

"I have hands."

"I know."

"Then why are you cutting my food?"

"Because you're talking instead of eating."

Dew slowly lowered his coffee.

Tee looked over.

Nani's mouth twitched.

"Oh."

He looked at Dew.

"Remember when Sky was the terrifying, untouchable mob boss?"

Dew nodded.

"Vaguely."

Nani pointed his fork at Sky.

"That title is gone."

Sky sighed.

"Don't."

Nani grinned.

"He's officially gone from Virgin Mob Boss to..."

Dew's eyes widened.

"Don't say it."

Nani proudly announced,

"Clingy Mob Boss."

Tee burst out laughing.

Dew nearly choked on his coffee.

Sky closed his eyes.

"You've said that five times since morning."

Nani shrugged.

"Whatever."

Sky looked at him.

"You know I'm sitting right here."

"I know."

"And you're still insulting me."

"Yep."

"Brave."

Nani smiled.

"Very."

Sky leaned closer.

"Keep talking."

Nani immediately stole another strawberry from his plate.

"Make me."

Dew whispered to Tee,

"He's playing with fire."

Tee nodded.

"And enjoying it."

---

Sky reached for Nani's glass.

"Drink."

Nani stared.

"You're not my mother."

"No."

Sky handed him the glass.

"I'm worse."

Nani snorted.

Dew looked horrified.

"I didn't need to hear that."

Tee covered his face.

"Neither did I."

Nani took a sip.

Then pointed at Sky.

"See? Clingy."

Sky sighed.

"You're obsessed with that word."

"Because it's accurate."

"You disappeared from my mansion twice."

"And?"

"I spent days looking for you."

"Exactly."

Sky stared.

Nani smiled innocently.

"Clingy."

Dew slammed his palm against the table.

"He's got you there."

Sky slowly turned toward him.

Dew immediately picked up his coffee.

"I support love."

Tee muttered,

"Traitor."

---

The breakfast continued with constant teasing.

Nani stole Sky's toast.

Sky pushed another piece toward him.

Nani stole his coffee.

Sky ordered another.

Nani complained about the weather.

Sky closed the curtains.

Nani complained that the room was too dark.

Sky opened them again.

Dew watched the entire thing.

Finally, he leaned toward Tee.

"He's domesticated."

Tee nodded.

"Completely."

Sky looked up.

"I can hear you."

Dew smiled.

"Good."

Nani laughed.

Sky shook his head.

"You three are impossible."

Nani leaned against Sky's shoulder.

"And yet you keep us."

Sky looked down at him.

"Yeah."

His voice softened.

"I do."

For once, nobody teased him.

Even Dew smiled.

Then Nani ruined the moment.

"Still clingy, though."

Sky groaned.

"Jesus Christ."

The entire table erupted in laughter.
