Chapter 3
Advait was driving the car he was returning from the office for home. It was 5 pm in the evening, usually he returned at 6 but today he wanted to surprise his brothers with his early arrival.
He reached home and parked the car outside and entered the mansion there was silence in the hall because his brothers weren't aware of his early arrival otherwise they would be in the living room to welcome him with their hugs and kisses.
Advait entered the living room and the strong smell of the gas leaking got in his senses his mind alert he quickly made his way in the kitchen and checked it.
The kitchen was empty he checked the surroundings and everything was all fine then his eyes fell on the gas stove that was open his eyes widened in fear of anticipation he quickly turned it off and opened the kitchen window he went to the living room opened all the windows of the living room also.
"Abhi, adi, aru neeche aao teeno." He called out.
Abhishek was in his room playing video games while Aditya and Arush were in the other room playing with each other.
They heard the shouting of their elder brother. They quickly left the room and came in the living room.
"bhaiya aap jaldi aa gaye!" Arush hugged Advait "kya hua bhaiya?" Abhishek asked noticing his facial expressions.
Arush parted from the hug "kitchen me kon gaya tha?" Advait asked in his cold tone.
Arush backed off and gulped three of them stood with their heads hung low without answering.
"Sunai nahi diya kya pucha maine....kon gaya tha kitchen me?" Advait yelled angrily.
"mai" Three of them said at the same time.
Advait glared at them "jaldi sach sach batao kon gaya tha kitchen me warna teeno bohot maar khaoge." He warned them.
"bhaiya mai gaya tha" Abhishek meekly said.
"Kyu?" Advait gripped his ear tightly and gave it a twist "kyu gaye the sir aap? Mana kiya hai na kitchen me jane se?"
"Oww bhaiya chord dijiye dard hora hai please..oww" Abhishek pleaded in pain his eyes got teary because of pain.
Advait left his ear "batao ab kyu gaye the kitchen me?" Abhishek rubbed his ear which had got red in color "cooking karne ka try kar raha tha." He muttered looking down.
Advait got more furious and whacked him hard on his arm "akal nahi hai..kisne bola tha cooking karne ko kitni baar mana kiya hai na kitchen me jane se fir bhi samajh me nahi aata." He scolded harshly.
A drop of a tear fell down on his cheek because of the whack "ek aansu bhi aaya na abhishek to bohot maarunga."
Advait warned him, Abhishek quickly wiped off the tear with the back of his hand.
"bhaiya bhai ki galti nahi hai maine hi unhe force kiya tha unhone mana bhi kiya tha par mujhe cooking karni thi." Aditya accepted.
This time the advait gripped his ear and twisted it "cooking karni thi ha? age kya hai tumhari counter tak height pohchti nahi hai aur cooking karni hai." He said sarcastically.
Aditya shrieked in pain as he left his ear.
"Tum logo ko andaja bhi hai kya ho jata, gas stove open chord diya tha tum logo ne kitna bada accident ho sakta tha, itni carelessness islie mana karta hu tumhe kitchen me jane se magar nahi meri to sunni hi nahi hai." He scolded them harshly.
"Sorry bhaiya... Par sachhi maine gas stove off kiya tha mujhe ache se yaad hai." Abhishek said sniffing.
"Maine on kiya tha." Arush mumbled under his breath.
Advait snapped his eyes on him "come here." He gestured for him to come forward with his fingers.
He slowly took small steps towards advait and stood in front of him. Advait held both of his hands in one hand.
"Kyu on kiya...khelne ki cheez hai wo?" Advait asked firmly.
"abhi bhai kitchen saaf kal lahe the mai countel pal betha hua tha maine aise hi touch kl diya mujhe nahi pata tha wo on ho jayega." Arush explained in his small voice.
"aaj ke baad tum kitchen me nahi jaoge aur waha par kuch touch to galti se bhi nahi karoge understood?" Advait told him and he bobbed his head.
"Solly bhaiya" Arush told him. Advait nodded his head "now it's time for the punishment." He announced.
"Bhaiya sorry ab se kabhi aapki permission ke bina kitchen me nahi jayenge...punishment nahi please." Abhishek pleaded giving his most innocent look.
"Haan bhaiya sorry please is bar jane dijiye." Aditya said.
"Enough ye first time nahi hai mai pehle bhi 100 baar mana kar chuka hu tum logo ko kitchen me jane se par tum logo ko pyar ki language samajh me nahi aati na to mai apni language me samjhata hu" He told them and the brothers looked at him in fear.
"Kneel down and hold your ears." He ordered them.
"bhaiy..." Aditya tried to say but advait cut him off "Now"
Abhishek and Aditya quickly kneeled down on the floor and held their ears.
"apko alag se kehna padega?" Advait asked Arush.
Arush shook his head and assumed the position beside Aditya.
Advait left from there to change and freshen up he came back in the living room after fifteen minutes and saw that his brothers were struggling to hold their positions. They were shuffling at their places and Abhishek being the sensitive one was sniffing.
"kyu atyachaar kar raha hai masoom bachho par?" A voice came from the front.
A boy around Advait's age entered the mansion with a little girl around 8 year old following behind.
"bhaiyaa" The little girl ran to Advait and hugged him tightly. Advait picked her up in his arms "kesi hai meri princess?" He gently asked.
"Bilkul achi nahi hu balki mai naraz hu aap se." She complained cutely.
"Mujhse? kyu maine aisa kya kiya jo meri princess mujhse naraz hai?" He asked matching her tone.
"aap mujhse 3 days se milne kyu nahi aaye?" She asked while showing her three fingers to him.
"So sorry for that bache, bhaiya was very busy but ab aap aa gaye ho na to bhaiya apke liye apki favorite noodles banayenge okay." He coaxed her.
"Yeahh noodles!" She squealed in happiness and kissed his cheek.
"Ab usko chord aur ye bata kyu pareshan kar raha hai in becharo ko?" That boy asked.
"Ye bechare aur mai inhe pareshan kar raha hu wow!" Advait sarcastically said rolling his eyes.
That boy's name was Reyansh he was Raj's only son and advait's best friend.
They were friends from childhood. Reyansh was a jolly person he rarely gets angry but when he does it was the worst sight to experience and that little girl was Reyansh's younger and only sister her name was Vanya.
She was very mischievous and pampered princess of the house advait treat her like his own sister and equally loves her as his siblings.
She was the best friend of Aditya but she and Aditya have a love-hate relationship they fight a lot with each other but also care for each other.
Reyansh come forward and kneeled in front of Abhishek " Kya hua kyu punishment mili?" He whispered.
"Humari hi galti thi bhai." Abhishek whispered back and told him what had happened.
Reyansh formed a 'oh' with his mouth Advait eyed them all "uth jao teeno." He said softly but yet with firmness.
They slowly got up and held their ears "sorry bhaiya" they said in unison.
"It's okay but don't repeat it hm." He opened his arms and all three immediately wrapped their arms around him.
Advait kissed their foreheads "chalo ab tum sab betho enjoy karo mai tum sab ka favorite bana ke lata hu hm." All of them enthusiastically nodded their heads.
Advait went to the kitchen and started chopping vegetables on the other side he put the noodles to boil Reyansh also came there to help him.
In the living room, all the children were busy in themselves Abhishek was playing video games with Arush on his lap while Aditya and Vanya were playing with each other or you can say fighting with each other.
They were fighting over that what should they play Aditya suggested football while vanya suggested hide and seek and they started arguing over the topic soon the arguing transformed into fighting Vanya scratched Aditya on his hand, Aditya screamed in pain.
Advait and Reyansh came out listening to the sound "adi kya hua bacha chillaye kyu?" advait concerned.
"Bhaiya dekho vani ne mujhe kitna jor se nocha." Aditya showed him his scratched hand.
"Vani what is this dekho adi ko chot lag gayi." Reyansh scolded her.
She pouted sadly looking down "it's ok bhai mujhe pain nahi hora aap usey mat daanto." Aditya said as he didn't like when someone scolds her.
Vani looked up at him "pehle khud meri complain ki ab bhai ne daanta to mana kar raha hai ache banne ke liye." She replied in attitude. She has a heart of gold but because of the princess treatment she got a little bit spoiled.
"Vani ye kya tarika hai tum..." Reyansh just said this but Aditya cut him off gently "bhai please na mat daanto usey." He pleaded.
"Adi koi kuch bol raha ho to bich me nahi bolte." Advait told him and he nodded his head.
"Rey jane de bachhe hai abhi lad rahe hai baad me khud hi sath me khelenge." Advait told Reyansh and left to come back with a cream in his hand. He gently applied the cream on Aditya's hand and planted a gentle kiss on his hand.
Reyansh returned to the kitchen not before glaring at Vanya.
Vanya looked down sadly "it's okay princess just don't repeat it ok." Advait said to cheer her up she hugged him sadly as he kissed her head "ab ladai mat karna sath me khelna hai to khelo warna shaanti se jake alag alag beth jao." Advait told them strictly and left.
Advait and Reyansh continued their cooking. In the living room Vanya was sitting on the sofa while Aditya stood in front of him holding his ears "sorry na yaar vani ab baat bhi kar le." Vanya turned his face on the other side.
"Bhaiya ne pucha islie maine unhe bata diya tujhe daant padane ke liye nahi bola tha." Aditya pleaded.
Vanya peeked a look of his face and he was sulking. She started smiling looking at his face "it's okay but next time meri complain ki naa to kabhi baat nahi karungi." She showed him her little finger to warn him.
After that they happily enjoyed their snack time with laughter and giggling.
Reyansh and Vanya left for their home and Advait told the boys to come in his room for the study session.
Now Advait was sitting on the couch Arush was sitting right beside him and Abhishek and Aditya were sitting in the front.
"Abhi homework baad me complete karna pehle science ka test hai na kal uski taiyari kar." Advait ordered Abhishek who was engrossed in writing his homework.
"bhaiya mujhe science nahi karni please." Abhishek whined.
"Theek hai mat kar kal number kam aaye na phir bataunga." Advait threatened him Abhishek gulped but confidently said "nahi ayenge bhaiya." Advait nodded.
"Adi tera test kaisa hua bacha?" Advait asked "bohot acha jo maine yaad kiya tha wahi aaya." Aditya happily exclaimed.
Advitya chuckled soon there study session came to an end and they all drifted in peaceful slumber in Advait's room.
Abhishek prepared chits to cheat in the test. The teacher was writing questions on the board soon everyone started writing their test and Abhishek started pretending like he was writing something on his paper but in real he wasn't he was just waiting for the right moment to took out his chits from his pocket.
When he noticed the teacher was not paying attention to him he cautiously picked out the chit and started cheating but unfortunately his teacher saw it all and went to his seat.
"Stand up." The teacher banged on his desk.
Abhishek flinched and nervously stood up.
"Cheating kar rahe the?" The teacher stated more than asking.
"No... no sir." Abhishek stuttered.
The teacher grabbed his test paper in which he hid the chit he also checked his pockets and 4 chits came out of it.
"Then what is this?" The teacher shouted making him flinch.
"Come with me to the principal's office now." Teacher said and started walking Abhishek meekly followed him.
"Sir he was cheating during the test." The teacher complained to the principal "these are the chits i got from him." He showed him the chits.
"Call his guardian." The principal curtly said.
"Sir please I'm really very sorry please sir don't call my guardian please sir." Abhishek pleaded in fear of Advait. He knew Advait hates cheating and if he got to know about this he will skin him alive.
The principal didn't pay any heed to his pleading and called the Advait.
After half an hour Advait came to the school. He entered the principal cabin with abhishek.
Advait was sitting in front of the principal and Abhishek was standing behind in fear.
"what happened sir? Did he do anything?" Advait asked pointing at Abhishek.
"Mr. Malhotra your brother cheated in today's science test." Principal replied.
Advait looked behind at Abhishek making him instantly looked down.
"His subject teacher caught him red handed. These are the chits he caught from him." Principal added.
"Look Mr. Malhotra I know everything I know how difficult it is for you to manage everything at this young age but I really advise you to pay more attention towards your brothers especially to Abhishek." He further said advait looked down in thinking.
Abhishek felt bad because of him. Advait started thinking that it was his mistake he didn't pay enough attention to them.
"We are letting this go for the last time Mr. Malhotra. We didn't encourage cheating in our school so please make sure it'll not be repeated otherwise I have to take a strict action." The principal warned sternly looking at Abhishek.
"I'm really sorry sir i'll make sure it will not happen again." Advait said and sternly glared at Abhishek.
"I am sorry sir." Abhishek apologized.
Principal nodded "Can I take him home with me?" Advait asked.
"Sure." Principal shook hands with Advait and they left the cabin.
Abhishek went to his class to take his bag then they exited the school.
Advait was driving his jaw was clenched in anger Abhishek was sitting on the passenger seat he was very scared at that time. He gathered some courage and meekly said "bhaiya"
Advait shouted "shut up abhishek if you don't want me to beat the shit of you right here then keep your mouth shut." Abhishek flinched and shrinked in his seat even more.
Soon they reached the mansion Advait got out of the car and closed the door with a thud.
Abhishek was sitting in the car for five minutes to gather up the courage to face the consequences of his actions.
