Chapter 12

Advait was driving the car and Arush was sitting beside him in the passenger seat playing game in Advait's phone and Abhishek and Aditya were settled on the backseat.

The car came to a halt and stopped in front of the school. Vanya was already there waiting for Aditya to get inside the school together. She was standing there with the driver.

Aditya quickly stepped down the car. Advait and other two also followed his lead.

Advait picked up Vanya in his arms and lovingly pecked her cheeks. She hugged him throwing her arms around his neck.

"School ke bahar kyu khadi hai meri Princess?" He asked lightly hitting her little nose with his finger.

"Adi ka wait kar rahi thi, bhaiya." She replied.

"Bhaiya, vanu ko niche utaro hume late ho raha hai." Aditya said irritatingly.

Advait rolled his eyes knowing his antics very well. "bhaiya, he's jealous of us." Vanya whispered in Advait's ear "You're right, Princess!" He replied feigning to be offended making her giggle.

He gently put her down on the ground and patted her head "ab jaldi se andar jao warna late ho jayega, right adi?" He said teasingly.

Aditya rolled his eyes in return and went inside taking Vanya with him. Abhishek and Arush also followed him after wishing bye to Advait.

Advait sat in the car and took a deep breath to prepare himself for the day ahead. He directly went to his office and started working.

Abhishek, Aditya and Arush just returned back from the school and Abhishek slumped down on the sofa tiredly.

Aditya tapped his shoulder from behind "baith kya gaye bhai jaldi se freshen up ho jao thodi der me aapki class lagne wali hai." He teased.

Abhishek glared at him in return making Aditya dramatically laugh out, "I was talking about your tuition class, bro."

But Abhishek expressions remained sad, Aditya jumped over the sofa and settled beside him snaking his arm around his shoulder "Why so tensed, bhai? It's just like a normal study session." He asked.

"I dunno, i just don't like the idea of getting tutored." Abhishek replied resting his head on the other's shoulder.

"If you guys want i have an idea." Arush said while stepping down the last stair after getting changed into his casual clothes.

"What idea?" Abhishek asked with a little hope in his eyes.

"Bhaiya ne apko kaha tha na ki apko agar new teacher ka teaching method samajh nahi ata hai to wo unhe hata denge?" Arush asked pointing his finger.

Abhishek nodded after thinking for a minute "Then simple, tell him that her teaching method didn't get in through your thick skull." Arush replied sitting royally in his seat.

Abhishek glared at him for the mocking comment but seemed pleased by the idea.

"Like it is not that bad idea." Abhishek mumbled thoughtfully.

"Yeah, it's not the bad idea. It's horrible." Aditya replied glaring at both of them.

They looked at him offended, "Reject this tutor and bhaiya will hire a new one within two days." He told them and Abhishek's face fell again.

"Arghhh I hate tuition." Abhishek groaned nearly to started crying.

"She won't eat you brother. Stop being so dramatic." Aditya told him after looking at his exaggerating expression.

Abhishek stood up and went away from there. He quickly freshen up and they had their lunch. Now he was praying to God to stop working the clock so that he didn't have to bear the tutor.

But the time had came and Shreya entered the mansion with a wide grin on her face.

Abhishek was in his room avoiding any encounter with anyone.

He was so shy and introverted and didn't feel comfortable talking with any stranger.

The tutor will teach him alone and his all attention will be on him that was the reason he didn't want any tutor.

He always hates when people notice him or he felt their attention on him.

Aditya was sitting in the living room with kaka. Shreya entered the living room catching their attentions.

Aditya instantly recognized her as the tutor and stood up to greet her followed by kaka.

"Hey I'm Shreya. I'm here for...." She introduced herself but gently cut off by Aditya.

"I know you are here for tutoring Abhi bhai, right?" He asked politely.

"Absolutely right." She smiled.

"Btw I'm Aditya. You can call me adi if you want." He introduced forwarding his hands towards her.

She shook her hand with him and lovingly ruffled his hair "I like your vibe mini malhotra." She said teasingly. She liked the way he was talking with her like he knows her from ages. She was getting her kind of vibes from him.

"Hey I'm not mini okay!" He said pointing his finger.

"But you looks exactly like Mr. Malhotra's mini version so I have got a point to call you mini malhotra."

"No, you'll not." Aditya replied smiling a bit but with firmness.

"Fineee." She said surrending her hands.

Kaka came back with a glass of juice and some snacks. "Please sit." He offered politely.

Arush showed up running in the living room, he looked at Shreya with squinted eyes like trying to scan her details from her mind.

"Uhm hey!" She said nervously feeling his stare pointing towards her.

"Hi!" Arush replied after a minute of silence.

"I'm Shreya and you?" She asked forwarding her hands to him like Aditya did to her thinking of the same polite response.

"He is the actual mini one!" Aditya sassed rolling his eyes making Shreya giggled.

Arush shook his hands with her and went away from there without giving any further reaction. She looked at him oddly.

"Don't mind him. He's high on drugs." Aditya said.

"What?" She nearly yelled.

"Mazak kar raha hai wo, beta." Kaka said.

"Weird brothers!" She mumbled under her breath.

Kaka guided her to Abhishek's room. They knocked and entered the room. Abhishek was playing the video games to avoid his nervousness.

He looked up at the kaka and the new face standing beside him and instantly a scowl appeared on his face but he masked it off.

"Abhi, ye tumhari tuition teacher hai." Kaka introduced her and left after eyeing him to behave.

He stood up from his place "Hey, good evening mam." He greeted politely even though he didn't want the tutor but he couldn't disrespect any elders.

She replied with an enthusiastic smile grazed on her lips, "Hello, good evening and no need to call me mam. You can call me 'Di' if you want."

"Please sit." He hesitantly nodded and said.

She sat down on the single seated sofa and he also sat down on the couch in front of her.

"Okay so let's start with the introduction?" She asked more like saying.

He didn't reply because he hated that part even in his class whenever a new teacher came and asked for his introduction in front of the whole class he got nervous. Here he was all alone but the thought of speaking a bunch of lines in front of a stranger making him feel nervous.

"Are you okay?" She asked for the third time as he was busy thinking in himself.

He came back to earth and looked at her anxiously. She was waiting for him to say something.

"Introduce yourself, kiddo." She encouraged politely.

"Uhm can we.... can we skip that part please?" He asked hesitantly.

"Hey no need to get nervous. I'm not here to judge you, I'm here to guide you. Don't worry about that hm." She said gently. She understood that Abhishek was an introverted person and easily got nervous.

"Take your time. But I want you to introduce yourself because it's not only about introduction it's about building confidence in you." She encouraged.

He took a deep breath and calm down his nerves and started speaking. "My name is Abhishek Advait Malhotra. I'm 16 years old. I'm a commerce student of 11th standard....i...I like painting uhm that's all I think." He fidgeted with his fingers throughout the speaking.

"That's good." She sang giving him a positive smile which could make anyone's day better.

Abhishek slightly smiled from the praise. "Now take out your books." She ordered.

He took out his books and she starting teaching him. Abhishek started liking her way of teaching because the tricks and methods she was teaching him made it very easy. She was solving every problem very precisely that impressed Abhishek.

Soon the study session came to an end and she bid a bye to him. She stepped down the stairs and was busy thinking about her day when she bumped into something hard and about to fall backward.
