Chapter 45

It was a busy day for Advait, he was in his office cabin discussing some important points of his upcoming project with his employees. His face was an epitome of discipline and authority and his presence was commanding, demanding focus from the everyone present in the cabin.

He leaned back on his chair briefly glancing at everyone before shifting his focus on the opened file placed on the table.

The deal with the Raichands could be very beneficial for his company and he wanted the project anyhow not just because of money but because of the competition also.

There were also a few of companies who was behind the Raichands project and Advait love competition, he didn't want to miss even a spot and wanted that deal by hook or by crook.

The reason for working his ass off from the past few weeks was going to pay off and he will make sure of it.

He was talking some business when the door of his cabin flew open, he was about to give the piece of mind to the person who had just barged into his cabin like that. But his scowl turned into a full blown smile when he looked up at the person.

"Bhaiyaaa." A teenage girl came running to him, squealing in joy and excitement.

She hugged him tightly making him smile widely. Advait wrapped his arms around her. He rested his chin on his head and kissed the top of his head, "Hostel se kab aayi?" He asked lovingly caressing her hair.

"Kal raat ko... aapko surprise dena tha isliye nahi bataya. Kesa laga mera surprise?" She chirped showing her toothy smile.

"Bohot accha, I missed you so much doll." He said lightly pinching his cheeks.

The employees looked at them with widening eyes as it was the first time they were witnessing this side of their boss. He was always cold and strict towards everyone in the office and never behaves like that.

The girl looked at the employees and sheepishly smiled at them, "Sorry maine aap logo ko disturb kar diya. Aap important kaam kar rahe the." She said scratching the back of her neck.

"Not important than you." He replied ruffling her hair.

"Meeting is over." He said looking at the employees, his voice was devoid of the warmth he had used to talk with her.

They all stood up and leave quietly.

Tia entered the office with an irritated look on her face, her face turned into a mock anger as she looked at the girl.

"Sia ki bacchi maine tujhse kaha tha na Advait meeting me hai abhi mat jaa, baat samajh me nahi aati." She chided.

Sia looked up at Advait with the most pitiful look she could made. Advait took her in a side hug, "Meri behen ko daantne ki koi jarurat nahi hai aur ye aayi hai tune mujhe bataya kyun nahi?" He said protectively.

Tia rolled her eyes, "Teri behen ne hi mana kiya tha mujhse tujhe na batane ke liye." She taunted.

Advait looked down at Sia with a betrayed look.

"Surprise dena tha bhaiya abhi to bataya." Sia whispered.

"Oh haan." He said remembering her words.

Tia again rolled her eyes, "Ho gaya tum dono ka?" She exasperated.

"Tujhe kya problem hai jaa kar kaam kar apna." Advait shooed her.

Tia glared at him and looked at her sister, "Chal Sia." She said.

"Mai kyun jaun aap jao mai bhaiya ke paas rahungi." She pouted.

Tia sighed, "Usko kaam karna hai Sia tu disturb karegi." She said aware of the Advait's busy schedule.

"Koi kaam nahi karna mujhe meri doll itne din baad aayi hai... kitni saari baatein karni hai hume." Advait said.

"Yes bhaiya." Sia high fived with Advait.

Tia shook her head at both of them and exit the cabin as she knew what talk Advait was about to had with her.

Sia sat down on the couch with a exasperated sigh.

"Aapko pata hai hostel me kya hua?" She said with a mix of thrill and excitement.

"Gossips baad me pehle ye bata kya khayegi meri gudiya?" He asked with a genuine affection in his eyes.

"Aap banayenge to bataiye?" She raised her brows.

"Mere hath ka shaam ko abhi to canteen ka khana padega." He replied chuckling softly.

She pouted, "Cold coffee bas." She replied.

He picked up the phone and ordered the food, "One cold coffee and a veggies sandwich in my cabin."

Sia groaned.

He raised his brow at her daring her to deny but she quickly shook her head.

"Hmm ab sunaiye." He asked giving his full attention to her.

That was all it look her to started blabbering she spilled all the tea she had collected in her hostel.

The food had arrived but she didn't stop blabbering, she talked while munching on her sandwich complaining about the extra veggies in the sandwich between her gossips.

Advait listened to all her talks with the utmost attention and that was the very thing she likes the most about him. He always listens to all her stupid talks even also when she gossips about the others.

Advait kept listening to her and didn't stop her until she mentioned a boy, it was not the boy's name that he had noticed, it was the smile on her face when she talked about that boy grabbed his attention.

"He's so nice and caring...and you know what bhaiya mai ek din apni book le jana bhool gayi thi to usne mujhe bachane ke liye apni book mujhe de di." She said with a smile remembering the event.

Advait flatly hummed, "Hmm."

"Aur aapko pata hai bhaiya ek din Rohan ne..." She lightly jumped on her chair excitedly.

"Umm how's your best friend Sia? What was her name?" He asked to divert the topic from that Rohan boy. He would take care of him afterwards.

"Shanaya! She's great. Humne mil kar itni saari masti ki teacher ne humse pareshan ho kar hume sath me baithne se hi mana kar diya to ab mai Rohan ke saath beth ti hoon." She said with a pout but let out a grin at the end of the sentence.

"Iss Rohan ka kuch karna padega." He mumbled under his breath while rubbing his forehead. He was very protective towards her, he always considered her as his own sister.

"Ji?" She asked as she didn't hear him properly.

"Nothing you carry on, I'm listening." He said nodding at her to continue her blabbering.

She continued talking about everyone in the hostel, the teachers, the students, her friends and her rivals. She even complained about the gross food and the broken tap of the hostel. Advait listened to it all but his jaw ticked every time he mentioned Rohan.

Advait came home before his usual time, Sia and Tia followed him in the living room and they settled down. Aditya and Arush quickly ran towards Sia hugging her tightly.

"Hi di kaisi ho aap kitne din baad aaye?" Aditya bombarded her with question as she was his favorite.

"Kya karoon ye hostel wale leave hi nahi dete, bas kuch months aur college to mai yahi se karungi." She replied.

"Aur chotu tu kaisa hai?" She asked ruffling Arush's hair who settled himself on Tia's lap.

"Mai ab bada ho gaya hoon." He huffed making everyone laugh.

Advait also invited Reyansh to come with Vanya for the dinner as Kalyani and Amrinder were not at home today. They went to their friend's place for the jagran.

"You guys have fun, I'll prepare the dinner for you." Advait said getting up.

"Bahar se order kar lenge tu kyun pareshaan ho raha hai." Tia said.

"Sia itne din baad aayi hai mai usey uska favorite bana kar khilaunga." He said making Sia squealed in happiness.

He headed towards the kitchen and Tia followed him to help him in preparing the food.

They started preparing for the pav bhaji, it was Sia's favorite dish. Kaka prepared the snacks for the kids and served them.

Reyansh and Vanya also came. Vanya and Sia shared a brief hug when Sia's eyes landed on Reyansh.

"Hi jiju." Sia winked at him.

Reyansh didn't reply to that and took her in a side hug, "How are you?"

"I'm good but what happened to you huh?" She asked as he didn't react like before when she teased him.

"Nothing, Where's Advait?" He asked changing the topic.

"In the kitchen." She replied.

Reyansh was about to headed to the kitchen when his eyes landed on the Aditya who was trying to braid Vanya's hair.

"Ye kya kar raha hai?" He asked narrowing his eyes.

"Vanu pareshan ho rahi hai open hair ki wajah se islie uski braid bana raha hoon." He replied still doing the braid.

Reyansh glared down at him and Vanya who was happily sitting on the chair like a princess and letting him do her hair.

Sia chuckled looking at his reaction but stopped when he shifted his glare on her.

"Adi tu rehne de mai bana deti hoon." She said after noticing his struggle.

Reyansh went away from there to the kitchen. He stopped at the entrance when his eyes met with Tia's. He briefly made an eye contact with her but averted his gaze after remembering her words. Tia felt a pang of hurt when he looked away like that.

"Mil gaya time apne darshan dene ka?" Advait taunted him while washing the vegetables.

"Thoda sa busy tha yaar." He replied quietly.

Advait turned his face towards him and raised his brow making Reyansh looked away.

The kitchen felt in an uncomfortable silence as Tia and Reyansh both were not ready to say anything. Advait commented a few things in between to made them talk but they both were adamant.

Advait exhaled sharply and looked at both of them, "Ye jo bhi tum dono ka chal raha hai na ye ghar ke bahar jaa kar continue karna mere saamne aisa muh bana kar koi nahi ghumega." He firmly said glaring at both of them.

"Behave normally." He ordered.

"I'm normal." They both said at the same time and looked at each other briefly before looking away.

"Don't copy me." They both again mumbled at the same time.

Again they both met each other's gaze but this time glared at each other.

"Mai copy kar rahi hoon? Tum mujhe copy kar rahe ho." She accused pointing her finger at him.

"Oh hello..." Reyansh retorted but she cut him off with a mock reply, "Hi!" She said with a tight lipped smile.

"Don't cut me off in between." He said.

"Or what?" She crossed her arms over her chest.

"I'll... I-I will..." He tried to threatened her but lost in her fiery beautiful eyes.

She challenged, "You'll what?"

"Enough both of you." Advait snapped making both of them shut their mouths.

"Stop acting like a five year olds. There are already a plenty of kids in the house. I'm not in the mood of handling two more." He chided.

They both shut their mouths and continued doing their work still ignoring each other.

Shreya was sternly looking at Abhishek who was meekly looking down at the floor. His face was contorted with a sheepish smile and he showed her his toothy smile to charm her but she kept glaring at him.

"Ab ghoorna band bhi karo, Di." He whined.

She held up the paper in front of his face, "Kya hai ye?" She firmly asked.

"Test paper." He smiled innocently.

She exhaled sharply after his stupid reply, "Wait, let me call Advait." She threatened him, picking up her phone.

"No no, I was just kidding. Sorry." He quickly said snatching the phone away from her hand.

"Give me my phone back." She ordered.

He shook his head, "Aap bhaiya ko call kar doge."

"My phone, Abhishek." She demanded.

He reluctantly returned her phone. She quickly snatched it from him.

"Sorry." He muttered.

"Mujhe kal ispe Advait ke sign chahiye." She ordered while roughly placing the paper in front of him. It was his Accountancy test paper and he had scored 12 out of 30 just because of his lack of discipline.

"Di please last chance de do next test me acche marks launga." He pleaded jutting out his lower lip to melt her.

"Last test me bhi tumne yahi kaha tha, dhyan kaha rehta hai tumhara agar koi doubt hai to mujhe batao par nahi bas bahane chahiye padhai na karne ke." She scolded making him looked down guilty.

"Kal agar ispe mujhe Advait ke sign nahi mile na to mai khud unse baat karungi." She warned.

"Karwa lunga sign to kya hua daant padegi to shayad maar bhi pade par aapko sign chahiye na mai karwa lunga don't worry." He mumbled making a sad face to emotionally blackmailed her.

She exhaled sharply looking away, "Last chance de rahi hoon Abhi iske baad bhi agar ye carelessness continue rahi na to mai Advait se khud tumhari complain karungi." She said gently yet firmly not able to see his sad face.

He beamed in joy from inside as his emotional drama had worked. It had always worked because of her soft nature she couldn't see anyone in distress.

"Nahi hoga, pakka." He grinned hugging her. He had developed a strong bond with her. She wasn't just only her tutor now, he looked up at her as his elder sister who always guided him and supported him.

She lightly flicked his forehead making him huffed in response.
