Chapter 48

It was a Sunday morning and the Malhotra Mansion was unusually quiet as the little hurricanes were yet to wake up. Advait made breakfast for everyone and especially prepared Sandwiches for Arush with extra love.

He made his way to his room to wake Aditya up who was sleeping while dangling his head down off the bed and his rest of the body was lying on the bed.

Advait carefully fixed his position and shook him slightly, "Adi, uth subah ho gayi." He said with a gentle voice.

Aditya groaned in his sleep and turned his face on the other side, "Adi, uth jaldi." Advait again repeated.

"Sunday hai bhaiya sone dijiye." He replied in a sleepy voice.

Advait glare but it was of no use as Aditya was sleeping peacefully closing his eyes.

"Adi, uth jaa warna mai apne tareeke se uthaunga." Advait warned but Aditya was deep in sleep.

Advait picked him up in his arms and carried him to the bathroom he made him sit under the shower and turned it on. Aditya jerked off from his sleep as the cold water rained on his body.

"Ghar me baarish kaise ho rahi hai, chath toot gayi kya?" He mumbled while rubbing his eyes.

"Chath to nahi tooti magar 10 minute me agar tu mujhe neeche nazar nahi aaya na to mai teri haddiyan jarur tod dunga." Advait warned.

Aditya groaned, "Subah subah dhamki dene lag gaye aap."

"10 minutes, Adi." He said and left from there.

He entered Arush's room and a smile formed on his face looking at his two kids sleeping peacefully while snuggling to each other.

"Abhi, get up." He said and the next moment Abhishek lazily opened his eyes.

"Good morning, bhaiya." He wished in a gruffy voice.

"Good morning." Advait replied ruffling his hair.

"Get freshen up and come downstairs in 10 minutes." He ordered.

Abhishek nodded and left the room, then Advait turned his attention to his little monkey who was sleeping with a pout as if he was even angry in his sleep.

Advait chuckled and caressed his hair, "Aru baccha uth jaa subah ho gayi." He said.

"5 minutes." He muttered in his sleep.

"No more minutes, wake up right now." Advait said placing his sleeping form on his lap.

Arush rubbed his eyes and looked at him with his pouty lips making Advait smile on his cute antics. He rested his head on Advait's chest.

"Good morning, bhaiya." He mumbled.

"Good morning baby." Advait replied kissing the top of his head.

Advait smiled amusingly as he was thinking he had to pacify him but Arush didn't remember anything. He helped him to get freshen up.

Arush was standing still on the bed as Advait was doing the buttons of his T-shirt.

"What's the first thing you do when you go down?" Advait asked while doing his buttons.

"Apologize to Adi bhai." Arush replied, his face was contorted in guilt. Advait kissed his cheeks and took him down stairs.

Abhishek and Aditya were already settled on their chairs. Advait was in the kitchen and came back with the bowls but stopped on his track when he looked at the interaction between his two troublemakers.

Arush was standing beside Aditya's chair, holding his ears. His eyes were small and pleading like a small puppy but what amused him was Aditya who was sitting on his chair crossing his arms over his chest mimicking Advait.

"Sorry bhai galti se kaat diya tha." Arush apologized in a guilty tone.

"Galti se udd kar mera haath tere muh me chala gaya tha right?" Aditya replied sarcastically.

Abhishek chuckled and Advait smiled shaking his head. They didn't notice him yet as he was standing at the entrance of the kitchen.

Arush looked down at the gentle rebuke still holding his ears.

"Punishment milegi." Aditya declared leaning back on his chair, enjoying his little time of authority.

Advait raised his brow and Abhishek whacked the back of Aditya's head as he was sitting beside him.

"Kyun pareshan kar raha hai usey?" Abhishek chided.

"Don't interfere bhai, it's between him and I." Aditya replied rubbing his head.

Abhishek glared but didn't say anything when he winked at him with a mischievous glint in his eyes.

Aditya turned his attention towards Arush who was already staring at him with a small sad pout on his lips.

He again crossed his arms, "Hmm so what were you thinking, little boy?" He asked imitating Advait when he reprimanded them.

"Solly." Arush whispered, Aditya internally chuckled at his expression but masked it off quickly.

"20 sit ups. Now." He replied firmly.

Arush looked up at him pleadingly but Aditya shook off his head determined, "No, you have to learn the consequences of your actions." He repeated the Advait's dialogue and Advait was looking at him with a mocked glare.

"Really?" Advait said from behind.

"Yes!" Aditya nodded still lost in his authoritative world but clicked his tongue as soon as he recognized the voice.

He sheepishly looked behind passing a nervous smile, "Hehe hello bhaiya." He said.

Abhishek let out a laugh looking at his state while Arush giggled covering his mouth.

"Kya chal raha tha ye?" Advait asked crossing his arms over his chest.

"Uh I was just talking to him." He replied scratching the back of his neck.

"By mimicking me?" Advait raised his brow trying to sound stern. He was barely able to hold his smile, the teasing atmosphere was gone.

Aditya looked down seriously, "Sorry." He whispered, his previous demeanor was lost.

Silence.

And then Advait and Abhishek bursted into a loud laughter, their faces were wide with a heartily smile. Aditya looked up at both of them with an offended pout.

"Look at your face, Adi." Abhishek commented clutching his stomach.

"Kya hua abhi to bohot dadagiri ho rahi thi?" Advait teased chuckling loudly.

"Aapne nikal di sab." He muttered, offendingly glaring at him.

The corners of Advait's eyes crinkled because of a smile on his face, Abhishek looked at him with admiration as he was laughing like this after a long time. Aditya tried to look offended but a smile came on his lips seeing Advait like this.

"Sit ups karne hai bhai?" Arush asked Aditya, showing his innocent eyes but his tone was teasing.

Aditya narrowed his eyes making him instantly run to Advait's side. They had their breakfast with laughter and teasing.

Advait was attending a meeting in his study when the door of his study knocked, he muted himself and said a low, "Come in."

Abhishek entered the room and stood in front of him.

"Kuch important nahi hai to baad me aana, I'm in a meeting right now." Advait said briefly glancing over at his laptop screen.

"Dosto ke saath bahar jau?" He asked hopefully.

Advait raised his brow, "Kahan bahar?"

"Yaheen coffee cafe tak." He replied crossing his fingers hopefully to get the permission.

Advait studied him from up to down and nodded.

"Jaldi aana." He said, Abhishek did a little jump on his place with a grin. He was about to leave the room when Advait's voice stopped him.

"Guards le kar jana." He said from behind making him groaned in annoyance.

"Bhaiya guards nahi na." He whined slumping down his shoulders.

Advait fixed him with a glare making him scurried away from the room.

Tia was driving the car, she was coming back from the shopping mall.

She and Shreya had a good time in shopping with each other.

They spent a lot of quality time together while roaming around the mall.

Now she was returning back from the mall after dropping Shreya at her home.

She was driving while humming to the cozy music playing in the car, suddenly her car stopped making her frowned in confusion.

She again tried to start it but nothing happened so she got down of the car and she gritted her teeth in annoyance looking at the punctured tyres of the car.

"Arghh isko bhi abhi hi puncture hona tha." She said angrily kicking the tyre.

She looked around herself for the help but the road was deserted, it was a bright day but the road was still chilling silent. She took out her phone from the car but it showed no network. She made a crying face after realising she got stucked in the middle of the deserted road.

She hopped on the bonnet, and started waiting for help from passerby. After waiting for a few minutes, her face light up with the hope when she spotted the car coming on the road. She immediately hopped down and waved her hand in front of the car to stop it but the car passed by her side.

"Fuck youuuu." She yelled from behind in frustration.

After twenty minutes, again a car emerged on the road she again waved her hand for lift and this time the car got stopped just beside her.

She sighed in relief but her smile vanished as soon as the person sitting inside the car stepped down of it.

A man around in his mid twenties stepped down, he was wearing a grey blazer pairing up with the denim jean. His aura was sophisticated but Tia only noticed the disgusted smirk that was glued on his face.

"Should I drop you somewhere?" He asked, his tone was... filthy.

Tia felt a lump in her throat, she was not liking the way he was looking at her. She shaked her head indicating a 'no'.

"I thought you just waved off your hand in front of my car." He asked.

"N-No, I'll manage." She said backing away a little bit.

The man chuckled stepping forward, "No need to be scared, I won't eat you... unless you allow me to." He whispered with a evil smirk.

Her stomach churned with the disgusting feeling. She glared at him, "You can go, I don't need your help." She said firmly despite the fear she was feeling in her body.

"But I can't leave the beautiful lady like you alone on this deserted road." He smirked evilly while taking a step forward.

Tia looked here and there for help as she can't fight the big ass man on her own. But when she didn't spot a sane living being near her, she made her way to the car but before she could make it, a strong, harmful grip clutched her hand from behind.

She turned around gritting her teeth, "How dare you touch me asshole?" She seethed in anger.

The man's face twisted in anger, he leaned his face in front of her. But she kicked her knee on his balls before he could do anything. The man's grip loosened and he screamed in agony clutching his eyes.

She started to open the door of the car when he tightly gripped her hair from behind. Her eyes teared up as the pain clawed in her scalp.

He harshly turned her around and slapped her on the face, her face turned to the other side. Her head throbbed with the pain but she tried to fight, she punched him on his face but he was so strong to get affected by her timid punch.

"Feisty huh?" The man murmered near her lips and a shiver ran down her spine.

She felt like throwing up due to closeness of an unwanted stranger near her. He twisted her hand behind her back and looked straight in her eyes with a slow, dangerous smirk.

Her body has drained all her strength, she was panting trying to catch her breath when her eyes widened because the man buried his face in her neck. She screaming loudly, trying to struggle in his strong grip, she was throwing her hands and legs but it didn't affect him.

The man looked straight in her eyes and about to kiss her lips when a strong blow came on his face making him stumbled back. He clutched his nose tightly groaning in pain. Tia inhaled deeply, she looked beside her to looked at the savior.

Reyansh was standing there, his hands curled up in fists and his eyes were blazing with anger but there was also something dark, possessive. She smiled in relief looking at him but the next moment a loud gasp left her mouth when he again punched the man.

"Himmat kaise huyi teri Meri Tia ko haath lagane ki." He again punched him without giving him a chance to breath.

His eyes were glinting with something dangerous, his hair was disheveled. He was mercilessly throwing punches on his face.

"Jaan le lunga mai teri." He thundered blowing punches on his gut.

"Rey-ansh leave him." Tia's shaky voice reached to his ears halting his movements.

He looked behind at her and she was on the verge of falling down, he thrust the man on the ground and ran to steadied Tia. She instantly wrapped her arms around him hugging him tightly and she broke into sobs. He rested his chin on the top of her head caressing her hair.

"You're safe now." He murmured protectively.

The man took it as a chance and limped towards his car, he drove off from there saving his life. Reyansh turned around at the sound of the screeching tyres and gritted his teeth. He looked down at Tia and calmed himself realizing she was his priority at that time.

He guided her towards his car and carefully made her sit on the passenger seat. He cupped her cheeks and wiped off her tears gently.

"Rona band karo, mai hoon na." He whispered assuringly, the warmth in his tone made her relax down a bit.

He offered her some water, she took a few sips and looked at him with gratitude and the unspoken emotion.

"Thank you agar tum nahi aate to..." She whispered.

"Shh relax." He smoothed her hair.

He drove off, there was silence in the car not uncomfortable but filled with something heavy unspoken feeling.

"I am sorry." Tia said after gathering up the courage.

Reyansh glanced at her briefly before focusing on the road, "Kyun?"

"Holi wale din ke liye..." She whispered guilty, Reyansh didn't say anything.

She waited for a few seconds before adding, "Maine jo bhi kaha wo mujhe nahi kehna chahiye tha."

Reyansh looked at her smiling softly, "It's alright." He said.

The car again filled with the silence and no one spoke for the rest of the ride, Reyansh pulled up the car in front of her house.

"Reached." He said softly dragging her out of her deep thinking.

She blinked her eyes and realized she reached home, she slowly undone the seatbelt and unlocked the door but stopped.

She turned around, "Reyansh?"

Reyansh who was awkwardly drumming his fingers on the steering wheel, turned his face at her, "Hmm?"

"Agar holi wale din tumhari jagah koi aur hota to mai usey kiss nahi karti." She said with genuine affection and stepped down of the car without looking back.

A wide grin spread on his lips, his cheeks coated in blush and he madly smiled at her retreating figure like a teenager in love.

Abhishek was sitting in a cafe with his friends, Akash, Ritesh, Arun. They ordered shakes and sandwiches for themselves and started talking about random things, gossiping about their teachers and were making fun of them.

"Guys guys guys, I have something for you all." Arun said excitedly with thriller in his voice.

All of them shifted their attention to him and he grinned mischievously while taking out the packet of cancer sticks from his pocket.

Abhishek's eyes widened and Akash and Ritesh mirrored his reaction.

"Why the fuck do you have this thing?" Abhishek's expression horrified.

"Exactly!" Akash agreed.

"Relax guys, maine dad ke pocket se churayi hai." Arun said nonchalantly.

"But why?" Ritesh asked.

"Just to try." Arun replied making them coughed on the air.

"Are you serious?" Abhishek asked giving him a serious look.

He nodded with a grin on his face, "Bas try karni hai yaar aur mai akele nahi karne wala tum log bhi karoge." He said.

"Oye I'm out of this." Abhishek immediately backed off raising his hands.

"Me too." Akash said.

They both looked at the Ritesh expectantly, "I'll try." Ritesh said.

"Pagal ho gaya hai kya tu?" Akash said.

"Try karne me kya problem hai yaar hum log konsa daily karne wale hai." He tried to convince them.

"Wahi to life me sab kuch ek baar try karna chahiye." Arun added passing the packet in front of Abhishek.

Abhishek panicked, "Kya kar raha hai piche rakh isey agar guards ne dekh liya na to meri band baj jayegi." He yelled whispering while looking out of the glass gate where Advait's guards were standing.

Arun quickly hid it under the table, "Theek hai to chal phir bahar chal kar peete hai."

"Maine bola na mujhe nahi peeni tujhe jo karna hai kar." Abhishek glared.

Arun looked at Akash for help as he knew he was easy to convince, "Aki, tu hi samjha na chal na try karte hai maja aayega."

Akash looked as he was thinking something, "Try karte hai na bas ek baar." He requested looking at Abhishek.

"Tu bhi?" Abhishek shot him a look.

"Don't be so boring, Abhi. Ek baar try karne me kuch nahi jaata." Ritesh said.

"Haan yaar yahi to age hai enjoy karne ki new chize try karne ki." Arun added.

Abhishek looked between them while thinking carefully, now he got convinced in his mind but the fear of his brother was still pushing him behind.

"Bhaiya ko pata chal gaya to?" He feared.

"Kaise pata chalega wo yahan par hain?" Arun gave him an incredulous look.

Abhishek still was not totally convinced, he looked at Akash who was already staring at him with requesting eyes and at last he nodded.

"'Kay fine but not here." Abhishek said.

"No worries backside me parking area hai waha chal kar karte hain, waha tere ye guards bhi nahi honge." Ritesh gave an idea.

He nodded and they headed outside but guards started following them, Abhishek groaned, "Aap log idhar hi wait kariye, mai abhi aata hoon." He said.

"We are not allowed to left you alone." One of them said.

Abhishek glared, "Mai keh raha hoon na aap yahi rukiye mai bas thodi der me aa raha hoon, akele saans lena bhi allowed nahi hai kya mujhe?" He snapped.

Both of them looked down while slightly stepping back.

He sighed in relief and immediately went away from there to the parking area. Arun took out the cigarettes from the pack and passed it to everyone. Abhishek took it reluctantly and examined the thing with curiosity.

Arun lit up his cigratte and helped them to lit up theirs as well, Abhishek scrunched up his nose as he inhaled the smoke, he coughed a little bit but feel relaxed as soon as the intoxicated scent settled into his mind.

He surprisingly liked it, he started taking the puff after puff while closing his eyes but he stopped inhaling when the disappointed face of Advait came in front of his eyes and the guilt clawed in his chest. He threw the cancer stick on the ground and crushed it under his feet.

"Kya hua phek kyun di?" Akash asked.

"Kuch nahi." He silently shooked his head.

He looked at them and he didn't like the heaviness he was feeling on his chest, "You guys continue, I need to go home." He said excusing himself.

"Tujhe kya ho gaya abhi to enjoy kar raha tha?" Arun asked.

"Nothing, bye." He said and left the place without any other word.
