Chapter 52

The atmosphere in the office was the blend of sophistication and authority.

Employee's heads were buried in the laptops screens.

Advait sat at the head chair of his cabin, his fingers were hovering over the keys of the laptop.

The light of his laptop screen casting it's glow on his face.

His fingers were moving effortlessly with precision.

Tia entered the cabin after a soft knock on the door.

Advait looked up at her with a warm smile and she reciprocated the gesture.

It had been two days since the incident, she strictly told Reyansh to not to inform Advait about the incident or escalated the matter by doing the investigation.

Reyansh was against the idea but when she made him promised to her, he reluctantly agreed.

Tia took leave for a day as she was not feeling good both mentally and physically.

"How are you feeling now?" Advait asked.

"Good." She smiled.

"All set?" She asked him referring to the meeting he was just about to had. It was the meeting for the same project he had been working tirelessly for days.

"Ya! Prepare the conference room." He ordered.

"Everything's already done." She replied, "Your file." She handed him the file.

Advait took it from her hand, but his gaze lingered on her wrist for a longer moment. He looked up at her, his face was unreadable, "What is this?" He asked.

Tia stared down at her wrist, there was a bruise because of the tight hold of that bastard. She rubbed her other hand over her wrist casually waving it off.

"It's nothing." She said dismissing it.

Advait scrutinized his eyes, he looked between her and her wrist. She looked here and there anxiously, she knew if Advait got to know about the story behind the bruise on her hand. He would have digged out the man from anywhere in the world and chopped off his hands.

"You sure it's nothing?" He asked her with a sharp gaze.

She nodded with a forced smile to reassure him, "I have some work to attend." She walked away with the excuse.

He looked at her retreating figure with a mix of confusion and suspicion but brushed it off with a thought that he might be assuming.

Advait was sat at the head chair of the vast empire, the conference room was filled with silence and unwavering authority.

His mere presence was enough to command the room, his gaze was enough to make people's obey.

In front of him, sat Vikram Raichand with a repulsed look, placing his right foot over his left one.

The employees were settled on their chairs, ready to start the meeting but Tia was yet to come with the important files needed for the meeting.

Tia entered the cabin, settled beside Advait when her gaze met with the Vikram Raichand, her blood ran cold and breath hitched in throat. Her palms started getting sweaty, her face had lose all it's colors and turned pale.

It was the same man. The same disgusting man.

Vikram narrowed his eyes at her first but then a vile smirk played on his lips. She quickly averted her eyes off him feeling disgusted by him.

Advait noticed her uncomfort and leaned forward to whispered, "You okay?"

She thought of telling him the truth but when she remembered all the hard work he had put to get this deal, she shook off the thought.

She nodded while wiping off the sweat from her face. The meeting started, but Tia remained anxious and uncomfortable under Vikram's disgusting gaze.

Soon the meeting ended, Advait shook hands with Vikram confirming the deal. Tia left for her cabin as soon as the meeting ended, Advait furrowed his brow in concern he was about to go behind her but an important call had snatched his attention.

But Vikram Raichand followed her, he entered the cabin behind her making her heart pounded in her ribs. Her eyes widened in horror finding him in her cabin.

"What are you doing here?" She asked despite of her pounding heart.

"We have some unfinished business, Remember?" He said coming closer to her.

"Get lost from here or else I'll scream." She threatened him.

Vikram smirk grew and his eyes glinted with malice, "I would love to hear your screams but only when you're..." He said but Tia punched his jaw making him stumbled backwards.

He grabbed his jaw in pain, blood trickled near the corner of his lips.

He looked at her disgustingly while wiping off the blood from his lips.

He grabbed her hair from behind and the pain shot through her scalp.

She whimpered, her voice had died down in her throat.

He leaned down to her chest but before he could do anything the door of the cabin opened.

Advait stood there, his eyes blazed with anger when he looked at the scene in front of him. Tia sighed in relief, but Vikram slowly leaned back with a sickening smirk.

"Mr. Malhotra, I was coming to talk to you." He said stepping forward towards Advait.

"Our deal is done but I have a condition." He said venomously.

He titled her head towards Tia smirking at her, "I want your assistant just for a night an..."

He said but before he could complete his sentence, a brutal punch landed on his face causing the blood flow from his nose. Advait again punched him on his jaw making him scream in agony.

"How dare you?" Advait thundered.

Tia squeezed her eyes shut in fear, Vikram struggled under his grip he opened his mouth to say something but Advait didn't give him the chance, he was continuously punching him in his guts. The blows were brutal and merciless.

"Aisa sochne ki bhi himmat kaise huyi teri?" He grabbed him by the collar and dragged him out of the cabin.

The employees stood up from their places, their eyes widened in bewilderment at the scene.

Advait's eyes were throwing fire, the veins popped up on his forehead making him look more dangerous.

Vikram tried to fight back but failed miserably, he barely recovered from the previous injuries.

Advait was mercilessly throwing punches at him.

Tia grabbed him by his shoulder and tried to parted him away, "Advait, leave him please mar jayega wo." She said in fear.

"Mai isey maar hi dunga jaan nikal lunga mai iski." Advait said and again punched him in the gut.

Vikram stumbled down on the ground and Advait kicked him in his stomach, the blood oozed out of his mouth. The tiles beneath him had turned crimson red.

"Itni ghatiya baat isne sochi bhi kaise." He seethed again kicking him.

The security guards came, they also tried to intervened but he glared at them making them back away, "Call the cops." He ordered.

He grabbed him by the collar and made him stand on his feet, "Ye-tum accha nahi kar ra-he ho." Vikram slurred weakly.

"We will see." Advait grabbed his jaw, digging his fingers in his skin making him screamed in pain.

The cops had arrived and took him away after the formalities.

Vikram Raichand was one of the influencing personalities of the city so Advait had to go through a bunch of formalities to make him suffer in the jail for long.

He used the CCTV footage of Tia's cabin as evidence and handed it to the court.

Advait Malhotra was no less than anyone, being the richest businessman of the city at such young age it was not that difficult for him to detect his illegal businesses.

He thoroughly ruined his image, business and brought him on the road.

It was the Tuesday noon and Advait had to returned early from his office because of an unpredictable call. Now he was sitting on the leather chair behind his large oak desk in his study and was glaring at the two innocent souls standing in front of him.

Abhishek and Aditya both were standing in the corner with their hands raised up in the air and heads bowed down.

Advait was furious, it would be an understatement. His sharp gaze was fixed on them making both of them look down in fear.

"Dard ho raha hai." Abhishek mumbled looking up at him with puppy eyes.

"Kisne bola tha saath dene ke liye?" Advait asked sharply.

He looked down again struggling to stay in the position.

The door of the room bursted open revealing Shreya with a panicked face. She looked in front of her at Advait but he stood up from his place.

"Welcome, Miss Shreya or should I say Mrs. Malhotra?" He said but his voice was edged with a mocking tone.

She embarrassingly looked down, she meekly stepped forward while explaining herself, "Actually Advait wo mai..." She stuttered.

Advait looked over her shoulder at the two troublemakers who were standing in the corner slightly embarrassed, "Come out. Both of you." He ordered and they exhaled a deep breath in relaxation, rubbing their sore arms.

They both come forward and stand in front of him not making an eye contact.

"Hmm continue Shreya." He said.

Shreya looked at Abhishek and then at Aditya before saying, "Advait wo Adi mere paas aaya tha help ke liye mujhse mana nahi hua to maine just uski help ki." She said nervously.

"Aur exactly kya help ki aapne? Please elaborate." Advait said, his voice was firm but not unkind.

Shreya was teaching Abhishek in his room when the door of the room opened revealing a scared looking Aditya.

"Kya hua, Adi? Itne dare huye kyun lag rahe ho?" Shreya asked in concern. Abhishek mirrored her reaction.

Aditya's eyes twinkled with hope, "Di please aap meri ek help karoge?" He said with hopeful eyes.

Shreya hesitated, "Uh-haan but hua kya hai?" She asked.

He made a crying face while explaining, "Meri school me ek ladke se ladai ho gayi, kal mam ne guardian ko le kar aane ke liye kaha hai."

Shreya narrowed her eyes placing her hands on her waist, "Tum school padhai karne jate ho ya ladai karne jate ho?" She gently chided.

Abhishek agreed, "Sahi kaha di, ye kya harkat hai Adi ghar par teri mastiyaan kam thi jo ab tu school me bhi ladaiyaan karne laga." He scolded.

Aditya whined, "Please aap logo ko jitna daantna hai daant lena par please meri help kar do." He pleaded dramatically joining his hands.

"Mai koi help nahi karne wala tune galti ki na now face the consequences." Abhishek said backing away.

"Mai bhi is matter me koi help nahi kar sakti sorry." Shreya shrugged.

Aditya slumped down on the floor joining his hands dramatically, "Please aap hi log mera aakhri sahara ho please is baar meri help kar do warna bhaiya meri haddiyan tod denge."

Abhishek and Shreya glanced at each other before rolling their eyes at his dramatic antics.

"Fine, get up. Batao kya help chahiye." Shreya said.

Aditya quickly hopped on to his legs with a wide grin,

"Thankyouthankyouthankyousomuch." He ranted.

He calmed down and took a deep breath creating a thriller atmosphere and pointed at Shreya, "Aapko kal mera guardian ban kar mere school chalna hai." He said.

"WHAT?" Shreya and Abhishek both shouted in unison.

He covered his ears squeezing his eyes, "Shh isme itna chillane wali konsi baat hai?" He asked.

"Aisi bakwas baat karega to chillayenge nahi to kya teri aarti utarenge?" Abhishek asked incredulously.

"Maine kya bakwas baat ki mai serious hoon, jis teacher ne guardian ko bulaya hai wo new hai wo bhaiya ko nahi jaanti to aap meri guardian ban kar chalo, isse teacher bhi meri guardian se mil lengi aur mai bhi sahi salamat rahunga." Aditya explained.

She shook her head with determination, "Bilkul nahi mai isme tumhara saath nahi dene wali."

Aditya again made a puppy face, "Aapne abhi to kaha tha aap meri help karoge aap apne promise se piche nahi hat sakte." He said.

"Par maine promise kab kiya?" She asked, throwing her hands in the air.

"Kiya tha aapko nahi yaad." Aditya said making a teary dramatic face.

Shreya looked at him with a done face but changed her expression when he looked really sad.

"Acha acha okay, rone ki jarurat nahi hai mai help karungi." She said still unsure but her heart melted looking at him. She couldn't see anyone in distress.

Abhishek gasped, "Di aap bhi kya iss notanki ki baaton me aa rahe ho koi ro wo nahi raha hai ye drama kar raha hai." He accused.

"Koi baat nahi bhai aapko jaisa theek lage wo hi sahi aap tension mat lo mai bhaiya ko nahi bataunga ki aap Rupali ko dekhne ke chakkar me class me piche bethte ho." He indirectly threatened him.

Abhishek gritted his teeth in annoyance, "Tu mujhe blackmail kar raha hai?"

He innocently shook his head, "Mai to bas choti si pyari si warning de raha tha."

Abhishek glared at him but didn't interfere after that.

"Kal ready rehna aap mere saath school chalne ke liye." Aditya said to Shreya.

"Wo to theek hai par mai tumhari ban kar kya chalungi?" She asked.

He thought for a moment before replying, "Bhabhi. Aap meri bhabhi ban kar chalna agar kisi aur teacher ne dekha to unko doubt bhi nahi hoga."

Shreya's face flustered at the thought, her face had turned red just by imagining her crush as her husband. But she composed herself and nodded her head.

"Aap dono ko jo karna hai karo mai in sabse bahar hoon." Abhishek said surrendering his hands.

Aditya smirked, "No bhai, aap mere saath hain aakhir pakde jane par koi to company honi chahiye." He laughed on his own joke.

"Jab pakda jayega na to ye saari hasi nikal jayegi teri bhaiya ke saamne." Abhishek threatened him.

Aditya royally rolled his eyes, "Just relax, bro."
