Chapter 68

The room was peacefully silent and the gentle darkness was cast in the room.

The two brothers were curled up in each other finding their solace in each other's arms. Advait's face was still looking tense as his brows were knitted together even in his sleep while Aditya was looking utterly calm and peaceful in sleep.

Aditya stirred in his sleep trying to move himself but a firm arm was draped over his stomach disabling his movements.

He slowly opened his eyes and looked up from the embrace of the person.

His eyes landed on Advait's furrowed features.

He raised his hand and gently rubbed Advait's forehead to ease out the tense lines and it worked.

His face relaxed but his unsound sleep broke due to movements.

He looked at Aditya with sleepy eyes and frantically sat up straight, "Ab kaisa lag raha hai baccha?" He asked, touching his cheek, "Tabiyat theek hai?" He added.

Aditya just managed to nod his head.

Advait sighed closing his eyes before pecking his head, "I'm sorry." He whispered.

Aditya blinked, "It should be my line." He said.

"You're in this condition...because of me. I shouldn't have punished you like that. I have crossed my limits and now you're suffering because of my carelessness." Advait said, his voice shaking.

He cupped his cheeks, joining his forehead to his, "I failed you. I'm the worst brother anyone could ask for." He choked, barely adjusting with the heaviness he was feeling in his chest.

"Ho gayi self blaming?" Aditya spoke up.

"It is true, Adi. It's all my fault." Advait replied keeping Aditya close to him.

"It is not your fault 'kay. Stop blaming yourself." He replied leaning onto his chest.

Advait hugged him tightly, kissing the top of his head.

"I made a mistake and it was your right to discipline me." He murmured.

"But I went overboard with your punishment." Advait replied.

Aditya sat up straight, looking into his eyes, "Your intentions were pure bhaiya.

You just wanted to teach me the consequences of my own actions.

You didn't do it for yourself but for me.

For my good, my well-being." He said, he knew if he didn't make his brother understand then he'd continue overthinking and blaming himself.

"You never wanted me to get sick. It just happened. But now I'm fine so please stop blaming yourself otherwise I won't talk to you." He said, crossing his arms over his chest.

Advait didn't say anything just kept hugging Aditya as if he would disappear somewhere.

"Kya bhaiya mujhe laga tha itni tough punishment ke baad bohot saari pampering milegi par yahan to mujhe hi aapko pamper karna pad raha hai." He said slyly.

"I'm sorry, mera baccha." He mumbled.

Aditya glared at him from his embrace, "Staawwwwpppp." He whined.

"Kitna overthink karte hain aap bhaiya. You have every right to punish me however you want and my right is to irritate you as much as possible." He kissed his cheeks.

Advait chuckled softly.

"Are you feeling pain anywhere?" He asked gently, smoothing back his hair.

"Just in my legs. They're screaming from inside." He replied dramatically widening his eyes.

"Mai massage kar deta hoon abhi theek ho jayega." Advait said, putting Aditya down off his lap.

"No need, bhaiya. Thodi der me theek ho jayega." Aditya said.

Advait took out the oil from the drawer and sat down at the end of the bed.

"It's okay, bhaiya. Please iski jarurat nahi hai." Aditya protested.

Advait firmly yet gently placed his leg on his lap, poured out some oil in his hand and rubbed it between his palms to warm the oil. He started massaging his legs and Aditya let out a soft hum in the relaxation.

Just then, Shreya entered the room with a tray in her hand. She settled down the tray on the bedside table and touched Aditya's forehead, "How are you feeling now?" She asked lovingly.

"Good." He smiled.

She briefly glanced at Advait who was massaging Aditya's legs.

"Chalo soup pi lo phir medicine leni hai." She said making him grimaced.

"Mujhe nahi peena soup, mai beemar thodi na hoon." He said, scrunching up his nose.

"Haan, mai beemar hoon." She taunted.

He pouted.

She sat down beside him, took a spoonful of liquid and forwarded it towards his mouth after blowing on it. But Aditya didn't open his mouth and looked away.

"Adi, muh kholo jaldi." Shreya said, trying to sound firm.

"Nahi mujhe nahi peena." He shook his head.

"Please bas thoda sa beta." She bargained.

He stubbornly shook his head.

"Adi, soup piyo." Advait spoke up.

Aditya looked at him with a betrayed look but reluctantly opened his mouth. Shreya feed him spoon after spoon and he finished it while making comical faces.

"Kaisa laga?" She asked settling down the bowl on the table.

"Bohot zor ka." He replied earning a chuckle from Advait but he closed his mouth as soon as She glared at him.

"Bhaiya bas karein ab dard nahi ho raha." Aditya said, taking back his leg.

Advait stood up and returned after washing his hands. He entered the room and his eyes landed on Shreya who was glaring at Aditya but he was unfazed as he was not looking at her.

"Adi, bas bohot ho gaya ab chup chap muh kholo aur medicine lo." She said, her voice was crisp.

He shook his head.

"Medicine nahi loge to theek kaise honge beta. Please baat maan lo." Her tone turned into pleading.

"No, mujhe nahi khaani. Mai theek hoon." He said shaking off his head.

Advait sat down beside him from the other side, "Aise zidd nahi karte baccha. Tabiyat kharab hai na medicine khani important hai." He said.

"Bol kaun raha hai?" Shreya taunted under her breath.

Advait raised his one brow and she gave him a tight lipped smile in return.

"Adi, enough. Open your mouth. Now." Shreya said sternly.

Aditya looked at Advait with a pout but he shrugged in response making him grew his pout even more. He opened his mouth, Shreya quickly tossed the medicine in his mouth and handed him the glass of water.

"Mini Malhotra." She said, lightly pinching his nose.

Advait narrowed his eyes but she stood up and went out of the room royally ignoring him.

Aditya giggled but stiffled his laughter after receiving a glare from his brother.

"Abhi medicine li hai na, chal rest kar ab." Advait said.

"Just abhi so kar hi to utha hoon bhaiya ab neend nahi aa rahi." He sulked.

"Aa jayegi. Lie down and close your eyes." He ordered.

"Nahi na, ab nahi sona." He whined.

"Phir kya karega?" Advait gave him a look.

"Video game khel loon?" He asked with hopeful eyes.

Advait pointed him a look.

"Please." He gave him puppy eyes.

"Fine par sirf thodi der, uske baad rest karna hai." Advait said.

Aditya happily bobbed his head. Advait pecked his head and left the room.

Advait entered his room and there Shreya was folding clothes. He sat down on the bed with a sigh looking at her but she didn't even pass him a glance and continued doing her work.

"Shreya!" He said.

Silence.

No response.

"Shreyaaa!" He dragged the name.

Still no response.

He stood up, gently held her wrist and turned her around, "Why are you ignoring me?" He asked.

She gave him a death glare and jerked her hand away from his hold, turning around again.

He looped his arms around her waist from behind, "Itna gussa?" He said in a dramatic horrifying tone.

"Choriye mujhe." She said, wiggling in his grip.

"Kabhi nahi." He hushed near her ear.

She did her best to not to smile at his reply and glared at him from the corner of her eye.

"Apne bhole se pati par itna gussa kiya jaa raha hai kam se kam uski wajah to bataiye." He said, resting his chin on her shoulder.

"Aapko nahi pata?" She asked incredulously.

"How do I know, love?" He replied, tucking a hair strand behind her ear.

She seized the moment and quickly came out of his grip, "Mai gussa kyun hoon ab ye bhi mai hi bataun?" She said firmly placing her hands on her waist.

Advait awkwardly scratched his neck trying to remember all the things he had done in these three days since they got married. He was towering over her by a few good inches but felt like a small trapped child under her firm gaze.

"Is it about Adi?" He asked cautiously.

She fumed in anger, the disappointed was clearly visible in her eyes.

"I realized it was my fa...

" It's not about Adi, Mr. Malhotra." She cut him off sharply.

He momentarily taken a back by her tone but masked his shock.

"It's about You." She snapped.

"Me? What about me?" He asked, genuinely confused.

"Why didn't you tell me about your medical condition earlier?" She demanded.

He sighed inwardly and waved it off with nonchalance, "It's nothing, Shreya." He said with so much casualty that flared Shreya's temper even more.

"Its Nothing?" Her tone was low, "Seriously Advait? My whole body was trembling seeing you in that condition and it's nothing to you?" She said angrily, "Your brothers were crying their eyes out for you and it's nothing to you?" She added.

"You. Advait you were struggling to breathe and it's all nothing to you." She broke down in tears which she was holding from the moment she had seen her love in that condition.

Advait was quick to hug her tightly in his arms, "How could you say that with so much nonchalantly?" She choked out.

"I'm sorry. Please stop crying. I hate seeing you like this." His voice was hoarse from the unnamed emotion.

He wiped off her tears and kissed on her face just under her eyes.

"Why didn't you tell me, Advait?" Her voice was shaky.

Advait hesitated and took a minute to chose his words wisely, "I am really sorry, love. Mujhe nahi pata tha aapko ye baat itni affect karegi. Maine bas important nahi samjha and it's just slipped out of my mind." He said cupping her cheeks.

"Kyun nahi affect karegi, Advait. You're my husband and everything related to you will affect me. I was shocked when I saw you in that state... Struggling, fighting with yourself for yourself." She said, her voice trembling at the end.

He hugged her to his chest mumbling soothing words in her ear. He kissed the top of her head, "I am sorry. I love you so much." He whispered.

She didn't say anything for a few minutes and letting herself wrapped around the warmth of her husband.

"Panic attacks kab se aa rahe hain aapko?" She asked, tightening her grip around him.

He loosened the grip slightly, "Can we please skip this topic?" He said, his tone was slightly awkward. He didn't like to talk about his weakness with anyone.

She nodded her head mentally preparing a note to talk about when he was ready. She didn't want him to push himself and tell her something getting out of his comfort zone.

She looked up from his embrace in his eyes. Her eyes were glistening with unshed tears and the spark of love was shining through her orbs. He looked down at her, his usual cold gaze softened at the sight of her little wife in his arms.

She looked into his eyes, her eyes travelled down to his lips. She couldn't control herself anymore and in a swift motion she placed her lips on his making his eyes widened at her boldness.

She was on her toes, he was too much tall for his own good. She grabbed him by his collar and kissed him slowly. She was sucking on his lower lip with all the time on the earth but Advait was not in the mood of slow romance.

"Fuck!" He cursed under his breath, picking her up by her waist. He pressed her into the nearby wall. She gasped loudly, he smashed his lips on hers not giving her a moment to comprehend the situation.

He started kissing her passionately, his hard like rock, firm chest was pressing into her chest. He bit her lower lip earning a loud moan from her mouth but it died in her mouth as her lips were pressed into his.

His one hand was on her waist while other was grabbing her nape firmly.

He was kissing her with so much hunger. There was love, yes.

There was passion more than love, hell yes.

His tongue touched her lips demanding for entrance but she was lost in the pleasure.

She kept her lips shut, Advait slipped in his one hand inside her kurti.

Her eyes rolled back at the sensation of his cold fingers on her warm skin.

He pinched her waist hard enough to make her open her mouth.

She gasped at the sudden pain and he took a chance entering his tongue inside her mouth.

She again moaned, his tongue roamed inside her mouth savoring the taste of the every corner.

Her taste felt like bubble gum on his tongue.

His other hand was rubbing the spot on her waist that he had pinched earlier.

Contrary to the roughness he was using to fuck her mouth with his tongue, his touch on her waist was soft yet possesive.

Her chest was heaving up and down rapidly as she was getting out of breathe.

Finally when she was not able to take it anymore, she tapped his shoulder a few times. He got the sign and slowly backed away.

They both were breathless and struggling to breathe. Their chest were falling up and down rapidly but their eyes... Their eyes were locked into each other's. The love was visible in their eyes but there was a sparkling fire in their eyes which was not there until now.
