Chapter 144
Abhishek cautiously entered his room. He swept over his gaze in the room and sighed in relief when the room was empty but the relief was short-lived when an angry Sia emerged from the walk-in-closet.
Abhishek smiled nervously looking at her but she glared at him in return and made her way towards the bed before sitting down.
Abhishek hesitantly made his way towards her and dramatically cleared his throat but she ignored him.
"Hi, Sia." He said in a charming voice.
Sia looked up at him and passed him a hard glare.
Abhishek pouted, "Ghoor kyun rahi ho yaar? Tum bina baat ke naraaz ho rahi ho." He said.
Sia stood up with a jerk, "Bina baat ke?
" She snapped at him, pointing her finger at him making Abhishek moved back, "Tumne mujhse kaise baat ki?
Aaj humari shaadi ka pehla din hai aur tumne aaj hi mujhse aise baat ki to aage kya kya karoge?
" She said while moving forward and Abhishek inadvertently took step back till his back bumped into the wall behind him.
Abhishek made a scared face, "Tum dara kyun rahi ho?" He meekly asked.
"Mai nahi dara rahi aur na mujhe tumse koi baat karni hai." Sia said, turning her back at his face and crossing her arms over chest.
"Naraaz kyun ho rahi ho, Siyu?" He asked making a face.
"Abhi bhi tumhe sharam nahi hai ki ek sorry hi bol doon." Sia said.
"Sorry." Abhishek said without missing a beat.
Sia smiled mischievously before turning back at him, "Aise nahi. Theek se bolo." She said.
"Theek se sorry?" Abhishek said with confused face.
Sia narrowed her eyes, "Shut up. Theek se matlab apne kaan pakad kar sorry bolo aur teen uthak baithak bhi karo."
Abhishek widened his eyes, "What?" He asked incredulously.
"What?" She asked nonchalantly.
Abhishek quickly shook off his head, "Mai ye sab nahi karne wala." He said with pride.
Sia narrowed her eyes, "Nahi karne wale?" She asked calmly.
"Never." Abhishek replied in a determined tone.
"Theek hai." She shrugged, "Mai bhaiya ko bata deti hoon, tumne mujhse kaise baat ki." She said while walking towards the door.
Abhishek widened his eyes and quickly caught her wrist before pinning her against the door. She gasped audibly at the sudden touch. Their eyes met with each other and her cheeks burned due to the close proximity. Abhishek looked into her eyes but slowly moved back hesitantly.
"Dekho, humare beech ki baat haina to bhaiya ko kyun pareshaan karna?" Abhishek said in a most innocent voice.
"Exactly." Sia agreed, "Islie jo mai bol rahi hoon wo chup chaap kar lo to mujhe bhaiya ko pareshaan karne ki jarurat hi nahi padegi." She said with a smirk.
Abhishek passed her a harmless glare, "I'll remember this." He said.
"I want you to always remember this." Sia replied with a mischievous smile.
Abhishek narrowed his eyes but held his ears, he glared at her, "Maine aaj tak bhaiya ke alawa kisi ke saamne ye sab nahi kiya hai." He mumbled.
"Par ab apni biwi ke saamne karoge." She replied, "Chalo shuru ho jao." She ordered.
Abhishek took a deep breath before squatting down. He stood up and repeat it for three times before standing up straight, "I'm sorry, nerdy. I shouldn't have talked to you like this." He apologized sincerely.
"It's okay." Sia replied before bursting into a loud laughter making Abhishek groaned in embarrassment.
"Mera mazak uda rahi ho tum? Abhishek said and about to caught her when she started running in the room and he ran behind her.
She jumped onto the bed to prevent herself but Abhishek caught her wrist before pulling it down.
She fall onto the bed with a soft thud and Abhishek started tickling her sides making her burst into a loud laughter.
Her soft gigglings were echoing in the room turning the atmosphere light and joyful.

Advait was sitting in the TV room, scrolling in his phone and Arush was sitting beside him leaning against his shoulder. Arush was watching a movie and forcefully dragged Advait with himself as he wanted to spent time with him.
"Aru, ye kya boring si movie lagayi huyi hai?" Advait asked.
"Aapka poora dhyan to phone me hai, aap movie dekh hi nahi rahe hain to boring hi lagegi na." Arush replied, without moving his gaze from the screen.
Advait rolled his eyes, "Thodi der news channel laga." He said.
"Mai abhi movie dekh raha hoon." Arush replied.
"Abhi ad aa raha hai, news channel laga tab tak." Advait ordered.
Arush pouted, "Phir aap wapas movie lagane nahi doge." He complained.
"Aru." Advait said firmly.
"Ek to mera phone rakh liya, ab movie bhi nahi dekhne de rahe." Arush mumbled under his breath and changed the channel.
Advait put down his phone and started focusing on the television screen. The headlines were highlighting on the top of the screen. The news anchor was practically shouting while reading the headlines.
"Breaking News:- Abhi Abhi ek video saamne aaya hai, jisme do college students ek dusre ke saath hathapai karte huye nazar aa rahe hain.
Jinki pehchaan mashoor industrialist Advait Malhotra aur Abhimaan Rathod ke chote bhai Aditya Advait Malhotra aur Yuvraj Rathod se ki jaa rahi hai.
" The news anchor shouted on top of her lungs.
Advait stood up from his place and stepped towards the television to get a proper look at the video.
He clenched his fists when he saw Aditya was fighting on the road like a local goon.
Arush gulped down seeing the anger on Advait's face, he was scared for Aditya.
Advait marched towards the hall where Abhishek was already present.
Abhishek stood up on seeing his furious eyes.
"Aditya!" Advait shouted shaking the mansion.
Arush jumped on his place, maintaining a safe distance with Advait.
"Ab kya kaand kar diya isne?" Abhishek asked to Arush in a low voice.
"Adi bhai famous ho gaye, tv par aa rahe hain." Arush replied. Abhishek furrowed his brows in confusion.
Angad emerged in the hall with a worried look on his face while Sia entered the hall with a horrified expression. Shreya wasn't at home, she had gone to the NGO for some paperwork.
"Aditya!" Advait again shouted and Aditya appeared on the stairs. He was rubbing his eyes, his hair was disheveled as he had just woke up from the sleep. His face was confused, he slowly stepped down the stairs looking at everyone.
"Ji bhaiya?" He asked innocently.
Advait balled his hands listening to his nonchalant voice, "Aaj college me kya kiya tune?" Advait asked.
Aditya looked around before replying, "Padhai?" He asked more than replying.
"Ek thappad padega na Aditya, seedhe jawab dene aa jayenge." Advait snapped.
"Par hua kya hai, bhaiya?" He asked innocently.
Advait closed his eyes praying for the patience, "Aaj tune college me phir se ladai ki." He said.
Aditya widened his eyes but quickly composed himself before looking down.
"Kitni baar mana kar chuka hoon mai, college me ladai nahi karne ke liye? KITNI BAAR?" He raised his voice, flinching him.
"Aapne college me ladai karne ke liye mana kiya tha, islie maine college ke bahar ladai ki thi." Aditya mumbled.
"If you don't want me to slap you on your face then stop being sarcastic." Advait warned, taking a step towards him.
Aditya looked down.
"Kisi ne uss ladai ka video bana kar upload kar diya, saare news channels wo video show kar rahe hain.
Yahi izzat rakhi hai tune apne ghar ki? Road par awara ladko ki tarah ladai karna yahi sab seekhaya hai maine tujhe?
.... Pata bhi hai kitni insult hogi humare ghar ki. " Advait said in a harsh voice.
"Aur ladai bhi kisse ki? Abhimaan Rathod ke bhai se.
" Advait said, "Business rival hai wo mera.
Wo iss baat ko aise hi jaane nahi dega." He added, "Usey to moka chahiye tha mujh par ungli uthane ka aur maharaj ne usey wo moka khud de diya.
He can file a case against you." Advait said to Aditya in a scolding voice.
"I don't fucking care." Aditya muttered under his breath.
Advait's hand shot up and he slapped his shoulder, "Don't you dare use these words in front of me." He said sharply. Aditya rubbed the spot making a face.
"Kyun ladai ki?" Advait asked.
Aditya kept standing there without any reply.
"I'm asking you something, Aditya." Advait's voice was sharp like a whip.
"He was saying things about....us." Aditya replied as he didn't want to say anything clearly.
"What things?" Advait asked.
Aditya didn't reply.
Advait stepped forward making Aditya take a step back, "Trust me Aditya Advait Malhotra, one more delay in your answers and you'll see the worst of me." He said in a dangerously calm voice.
"Shaant ho jao, Advait. Pyar se pucho, baccha hai." Angad spoke up.
"Aap to beech me boliye hi mat." Aditya glared at him, "It all happened because of you." He accused.
"Meri wajah se?" Angad asked, furrowing his brows.
"Haan aapki wajah se, he was making fun of me because you are a coward bastard and my mother was a bitch." Aditya shouted at him.
Advait's eyes turned hardened listening to his colorful vocabulary and he slapped him right across his face.
Aditya pressed his hand against the cheek to reduce the sting.
His jaw was clenched to calm his temper but he kept his gaze on the floor.
Angad gasped in shock as he wasn't expecting this.
He had never seen Advait raising hand on the kids.
"Tameez, sharam, darr kuch nahi reh gaya haina?" Advait raised his voice making him flinch.
Advait took a deep breath to calm himself and ran a hand through his hair, "Physical fight kisne shuru ki?" Advait asked, too calmly for his own liking.
Aditya sucked a breath as his reply would not be in his favor, "Maine." He whispered.
"Excellent." Advait taunted, glaring at his soul, "Mann to kar raha hai ek aur kheech ke lagaun tere." He said through gritted teeth, "Koi jarurat nahi hai kal se college jaane ki, college jaa kar padhai ke alawa sab karta hai tu."
"Yuvraj ne pehle mujhe poke karna start kiya tha, bhaiya. I was ignoring him par wo personal ho raha tha. Galati uski hai bina baat ke ladai shuru ki usne." Aditya cleared his side.
"To tu bhi usey muh se jawab de sakta tha na par nahi sir ko to haathon se jawab dene ka shok hai." Advait taunted, "Isey na control me rakha kar." Advait said, tapping his skull.
"Kal Yuvraj se maafi maangega tu." Advait declared and Aditya's head snapped up at him.
"Aise mat dekh mujhe, agar usne case file kar diya na career barbaad ho jayega tera. Physical fight pehle start karke tune galati ki hai, unke paas poora video hai proof ke liye." Advait said in a scolding tone.
"Mai usse maafi nahi maangunga." Aditya said, looking at Advait.
Advait clenched his jaw, "Mujhe aur gussa mat dila, Adi." He warned.
Aditya looked down, "I'm sorry, bhaiya par mai Yuvraj se maafi nahi maangunga." He said in a low but clear voice.
Advait exhaled sharply, Abhishek noticed his flaring temper and spoke up, "Bas sorry hi to bolna hai Adi, bol dena. Agar ek sorry se sab sort ho sakta hai to problem kya hai?" Abhishek made him understand.
"He said things about bhaiya. I'm not even a bit guilty for beating him. I won't apologize." Aditya replied clearly.
"What? Usne bhaiya ke liye bola?" Abhishek asked and Aditya nodded, "That dickhead, you should have beat him more." Abhishek said angrily.
Advait closed his eyes listening to their rubbish and turned Abhishek towards himself, "Apne chote bhai ko kuch accha seekhane ki bajaye ye sab seekha raha hai tu.
Agar teri shaadi nahi huyi hoti na to khaal kheech deta mai teri.
" Advait said in a low voice that only they could hear, while daggerings holes in his body. Abhishek gulped down and moved back.
"Kaash meri bhi shaadi ho gayi hoti." Aditya murmured under his breath.
But Advait heard and shot him a look, "I'm this close to belting you, Aditya. Mujhe aise jawab dena band karde." He said in a dangerously calm voice sending a shiver ran down to his spine.
"Sorry." Aditya whispered.
"Yahi sorry Yuvraj se bolna hai." Advait said.
"Mai nahi bolunga." Aditya replied stubbornly.
Advait gripped his ear before giving it a twist, "I'm asking you for the last time, Aditya. Will you apologize to him or not?" He asked sternly, firmly gripping his ear.
"I'll not." Aditya replied meekly, his face was twisted in pain.
That was the last straw of Advait's patience, he dragged Aditya outside by holding his ear. Aditya's face was burning with embarrassment being dragged like a kid but he kept his head low. He would never apologize to someone who had disrespected his bhaiya.
"Ye to gaya." Abhishek mumbled under his breath and Sia glared at him.
"Jaa kar bachao na usey." She said, "Usey bachane jaunga to tumhe apne pati ki kurbaani deni padegi." He replied.
"I'm ready." She agreed making his mouth parted in disbelief.
Angad went behind Advait and Aditya in worry. Advait made Aditya stand in the garden and Aditya hung his head low.
"Aap koi bhi punishment de do, mai uss Yuvraj se maafi nahi maangunga." Aditya said in a low voice.
"Maafi to tera baap bhi maangega." Advait said, glaring at him.
"Haan to aap maang lo." Aditya retorted.
Advait whacked his neck making him jumped on his place, "Badtameez." He said.
Angad walked to them making Aditya looked away, "Advait, ye kya kar rahe ho? Baccha hai wo pyar se samjhao, maan jayega baat." He said.
"Baccha nahi hai ab ye, badtameez ho gaya hai." Advait replied, daggerings holes in his soul.
"Aapko to bas yahi lagta hai." Aditya muttered, "Mai ladai karun to bhi meri galati, koi aur mujhse ladai kare to bhi meri galati. Baat nahi karunga ab aap se." He said, looking down.
Advait took a deep breath, "Mat karna." He replied and walked back inside the mansion, leaving Aditya and Angad alone.
Angad looked at Advait's retreating figure with a sigh before looking back at Aditya, "Tum andar chalo, mai Advait se baat karta hoon." He said.
"Isse pehle ki mai kuch aisa bolun jisse bhaiya mujhe wapas daantein, aap andar chale jaiye." Aditya replied, controlling his fuming anger.
"Par beta...
"Leave me alone." Aditya said in an unflinching voice.
Angad walked away from there with a disappointed face but he went directly towards the Advait's room.
He knocked on the door and opened it but the room was empty.
Angad entered inside and a shadow in the balcony caught his attention.
He headed towards the balcony and stepped behind Advait who was glancing at Aditya from the balcony.
"Advait." Angad said making Advait turned back at him.
"Agar Adi ke baare me baat karne aaye hain, to mujhe koi baat nahi karni hai." Advait cleared before he could say something.
"Ye kaisa tareeka hai bacchon ke saath pesh aane ka, Advait? Itne bade ladke par tumne haath uthaya aur ab usey bahar sabke saamne khada kar diya." Angad said in a disapproving tone.
"Bacchon ke saath kaise pesh aate hain ye baat aap mujhe mat seekhaiye. Teen-teen bacche paale hain maine aur aap se behtar jaanta hoon unhe kab pyar karna hai aur kab sudharna hai." Advait replied, his voice was firm and protective.
Angad looked down, noticing the bite in his tone, "Jaane do beta, baccha hi to hai." He said.
"Mera hi baccha hai, mai decide kar lunga mujhe kya karna hai." Advait replied, his voice leave no room for argument.
Angad let out a defeated sigh before leaving the room. Advait looked down from the balcony at Aditya who was casually swinging left to right, standing on his place without any worry. Advait shook his head at the stubbornness of his kid and walked back inside the room.
