Chapter 153
Aditya came downstairs, his jaw was set in a stoic manner.
His shoulders were tensed, indicating the tension inside his body.
In the hall, Abhishek and Sia were seated on the sofa, having their morning coffee and waiting for the breakfast to be prepared.
Aditya walked to Abhishek and stood in front of him, looking at him sharply.
Abhishek sensed his gaze and looked up, "What?" He asked.
"Aap mujhse jhooth bol kar mujhe Vanu ke paas le kar kyun gaye?" Aditya demanded an answer.
Abhishek rolled his eyes, "She asked me for help and I couldn't say no to her." He replied, sipping on his coffee.
"Ye uska aur mera personal matter hai bhai aapko beech me padne ki jaroorat nahi thi." Aditya said, "Aur agli baar se mujhse aise jhooth mat bolna." He warned.
Abhishek looked up sharply, "Tone." He said curtly but his voice was sharp like a knife.
"I'll mind my tone when you'll start minding your own business." Aditya replied, looking straight at him.
"Adi." Sia spoke up, "It's okay." She said and turned towards Abhishek, "Aur Abhi tum kyun beech me pad rahe ho, un dono ka matter hai wo solve kar lenge." She told him gently.
"Mujhe koi shok nahi hai dusro ke matter me ghusne ka, Vani ne help maangi to maine kar di." Abhishek explained.
Aditya didn't say anything and sat down on the adjacent sofa ignoring him. He started scrolling in his phone when Arush came running with his laptop.
"Aru aaram se, stairs par nahi bhaagte bacche." Advait's voice came through the device, jolting Abhishek and Aditya.
Arush placed the laptop on the table and sit down on the sofa with a wide grin, "Bhaiya ka video call hai." He said, glancing at everyone.
They all adjusted them on the same sofa, squeezing Arush in between, "Bhaiya, aap abhi tak jaag rahe hain? Wahan to raat ho rahi hogi." Abhishek said.
"Oh haan ye to mai bhool hi gaya." Arush clicked his tongue, "Maine aapki neend disturb kardi?" He asked with a guilty look.
"Nahi baccha, waise bhi mai jaag hi raha tha." Advait replied, glancing over the laptop at Shreya who was quickly wearing her clothes.
"Adi, tujhe kya hua?" Advait asked, noticing his silence.
"Kuch nahi, bha...
"Argument huyi hai iski aur Abhi ki." Sia spoke up cutting off Aditya in between.
"Bhaiya ki chamchi." Abhishek mumbled under his breath, scoffing at her.
"Argument, kyun?" Advait asked, furrowing his brows.
"Kuch nahi bhaiya bas aise hi, bhabhi kahan hain?" Abhishek asked to divert the topic.
Advait glanced at Shreya who was walking to his side, "Bhabhi yahan hain." She said, sitting beside Advait. Everyone smiled looking at her.
"Breakfast kiya tum logo ne?" She asked in a motherly tone.
"Abhi nahi, bhabhi." Sia replied, shaking her head.
"To baatein kya kar rahe ho? Jao jaa kar breakfast karo, aaj ghar par hi rehna hai kya?" Shreya said, "Thoda dhyan rakho."
"Aap dono bhi apna dhyan rakhna aur bohot raat ho gayi hai so jaiye warna tabiyat kharab ho jayegi." Sia said to both of them.
"Okay doctor madam." Shreya said in a playful tone making her pout.

In Khurana Mansion, Vanya was sitting in Tia's room silently scrolling through her phone. Tia was using her laptop but was glancing at Vanya from time to time. After a few minutes, she finally looked up at her.
"Vani, tumhari Adi se baat nahi ho rahi hai kya?" Tia asked.
Vanya looked up at her and sighed with a pout, "Nahi naa, bhabhi." She sulked, "Wo mujhse naraaz hai." She informed.
"Wo tujhse naraaz hai?" Tia asked in an unbelievable tone.
Vanya nodded her head.
"Kyun aisa kya hua jo Adi tujhse naraaz ho gaya?" Tia asked curiously.
"He was refusing to have sex with me so I told him that I'll find someone else." She replied without thinking for a moment, "I said it out of anger. I didn't mean it. I swear." She added.
Tia looked at her with an incredulous look but before she could say anything Reyansh who was standing on the doorway spoke up, "Tera dimaag theek hai, Vanya?" He asked angrily.
Vanya looked at him and rolled her eyes, "Mujhe pata hai meri galati hai mujhe aisa nahi kehna chahiye tha, ab aapko bhi mujhe daantne ki jaroorat nahi hai." She said.
Reyansh gripped her arm and made her stand in front of him, "Oww lag rahi hai mujhe." She hissed and tried to wriggle out of his firm grip.
Tia also stood up from the bed and walked to them, "Ansh, tum chordo. Mai samjha dungi." She said.
But Reyansh kept drilling holes in Vanya's soul, "Kaise samjha dogi tum? Isne suni hai aaj tak kisi ki jo aaj sunegi?" Reyansh said to Tia but his gaze didn't move from Vanya's face.
Vanya looked down in anger mixed with the guilt.
"Kya kaha tune Adi se koi aur doondh legi tu?" Reyansh asked sharply, "Tere saath rahega kaun?" He asked making her looked up at him.
She glared at him with an offended look, "Aise kya dekh rahi hai? Koi bhi tere jaise self obsessed, egoistic logo ke saath rehna nahi chahta, partner banna to door ki baat log aise logo ke saath dosti karna tak pasand nahi karte hain." He said in a harsh tone making her eyes welled up with tears.
"Ansh, aise mat bolo." Tia hushed him.
"Kyun na bolun?" Reyansh turned towards her, "Jab ye kuch bhi bolne se pehele nahi sochti to mai sacch bolne se pehele kyun sochun?" He said.
"You should be grateful ki Adi jaisa ladka teri life me hai agar uski value nahi kar sakti to atleast disrespect to mat kar." He reprimanded her.
"Maine galati se...
"Shut up, Vanya." Reyansh snapped at her cutting her off in between. A lone tear fell down from her eyes at the harsh rebuke.
Reyansh walked away from there in anger and a sob left out of Vanya's mouth. She started crying, his words pierced inside her heart. Tia embraced her in a warm, comforting hug.
"Shaant ho jaa, Vani." She said quietly.
"Muj-Mujhe pata hai meri galati hai par mai-mai buri nahi hoon." She sobbed, feeling she was unworthy of love.
Tia made her sit down, "Ansh ke kehne ka wo matlab nahi tha, Vani. Tum shaant ho jao." She caressed her back.
She gently wiped off her tears and made her looked at him, "Tumhara Adi se ye kehna bohot galat tha aur wo bhi iss baat ke liye kyunki usne shaadi se pehle physical hone ke liye mana kar diya.
" She said, "Beta abhi tum dono ki age hi kya hai, na to abhi tum dono ki padhai poori huyi hai aur na hi koi career hai.
Agar tum shaadi se pehele pregnant ho jaati ho, to kya tum dono apne bacche ko paalne ke liye capable ho?
Naa to khud ko sambhaal paoge aur na uss masoom bacche ko jiski in sab me koi galati hi nahi hai.
Shaadi se pehele physical hona ya na hona ye dono partner ki personal choice hoti hai magar har action ke saath uske consequences bhi aate hain.
If you're strong enough to face the consequences of your actions then do whatever you want to do.
" She gently made her understand and the realization dawned upon Vanya, "Aur dusri baat, Adi agar ready nahi hai to you should respect his choice.
Agar Adi ki jagah tu hoti aur wo tujhe aise force karta to tujhe kaisa lagta?
No means no chahein wo ladki kahe ya ladka. Understood?" She added in a firm tone.
Vanya nodded her head in understanding, "Understood." She mumbled in a low voice.
"I really love him, bhabhi. Wo mujhse baat nahi kar raha, mujhe samajh nahi aa raha mai kya karun?" She asked in a vulnerable voice.
Tia sighed looking at the welling tears in her eyes and gently caressed her hair, "Adi loves you a lot. Tu usey mana wo maan jayega." She said making her nod.

It's been a week of Abhishek bossing his little brothers around.
Arush was counting every torture on his fingertips to complain to Advait when he returned.
Aditya was mostly silent, he barely ate and silently followed everything Abhishek told him to do.
He had started going to college but was ignoring Vanya who was trying everything possible to earn his forgiveness.
Aditya returned from college, entering the living room and Vanya was walking behind him, following him with a desperate look but he was ignoring her.
"Adi, ek baar to sun le yaar." She said, her breathing was a bit heavy because of matching his pace.
Aditya ignored her but she ran and jumped up in front of him, blocking his path, "Please yaar, aise ignore to mat kar." She said.
"I'm not ignoring you, Vani. We're still friends, we can talk but only if you stop bringing past things." He replied in a flat tone.
"We're not friends okay." She said sternly, "I'm your girlfriend." She said clearly in a raised voice, filled with emotions.
"You were." Aditya mumbled and moved past by her.
Vanya immediately started following him. He headed upstairs to his room and closed the door on her face. She knocked on the door but he didn't open it.
"Theek hai, mat khol gate. Aaj jab tak tu mujhse baat nahi karega na mai yahan se nahi jaungi." She said with a determined voice.
She sat down on the floor, crossing her legs with a stubborn look on her face.
The time was ticking but Aditya didn't open the door and she remained sitting there.
Three hours passed but there was no sign of Aditya, he didn't even hover around the door.
Her back had started paining so she rested her back against the wall and pulled her knees to her chest. Her heart was aching with the each passing moment.
Without her knowing, her emotions took a toll over her and the tears started rolling down off her eyes.
Her gaze was fixed on the closed door as if glaring at the door would make it open magically.
After three hours, the door opened and a sleepy looking Aditya came outside.
He blinked her eyes twice to confirm that Vanya was still sitting there.
"Ghar nahi jana, tujhe?" He asked her.
She looked at him with watery eyes, "I'm sorry." She whispered.
"I'm asking you something, Vani." He said.
She looked down feeling hurt as he was calling her Vani like others.
She loved hearing her special nickname from his mouth but he was treating her like anyone else, aching her heart more.
Aditya sighed when she didn't reply anything and again closed the door.
After an hour, Abhishek and Sia were also returned home and noticed Vanya who was sitting on strike outside Aditya's room.
"Vani, tu yahan aise kyun baithi hain?" Abhishek asked.
She startled for a moment with a sudden voice then looked up, "Jab tak Adi baat nahi karega mai aise hi baithi rahungi." She replied.
Abhishek rolled his eyes, "Ye kya nibbi wali harkatein kar rahi hai. Chal uth." He chided her.
She glared at him.
"Vani, ye koi solution thodi na hai. Utho chalo yahan se." Sia crouched down beside her and said gently.
"Please, di." Vanya said.
"Di nahi bhabhi ho gayi hai ab ye." Abhishek corrected her.
Vanya shot him a glare, "Kabhi to serious ho jaya karo, bhai." She said in a heavy voice.
"Serious hone ke liye bol bhi kaun raha hai?" Abhishek muttered under his breath.
"Vani di, aap yahan kyun baithi hain?" Arush asked, coming to their side.
"Anshan par baithi hai teri Vani di." Abhishek replied and left from there when Vanya glared at him.
"Anshan matlab?" Arush asked, furrowing his brows.
Sia palmed her forehead, "Hunger strike, angrez ki aulaad." She shook her head.
"Par kyun?" Arush asked, "Adi jab tak isse baat nahi karega ye yahin baithi rahegi." Sia told him.
Arush looked at Vanya and went away from there confusing Sia and Vanya both. He returned after a minute carrying a chair with himself. He placed the chair outside Aditya's room releasing a heavy breath.
"Ye lo di iss par aaram se baith kar strike karo." He told her.
"Aru." Sia again face palmed herself.
"Thank you, chotu." Vanya mumbled and got up from the floor before sitting down on the chair.
"Vani, ye koi tareeka nahi hai. Utho yahan se aur ghar jao. Uncle aunty fikar kar rahe honge na." Sia said.
"Maine unhe inform kar diya hai. Waise bhi koi fikar nahi karta meri." Vanya replied and mumbled the last part under her breath.
"Vani...
"Di, please na." Vanya whined making Sia sighed. She also walked away from there.
Arush sat down on the floor beside Vanya, "Tu kyun yahan baith gaya?" Vanya asked him.
"Aapko support karne ke liye. Aap akele baithe baithe bore ho jaoge na islie mai aapko company de raha hoon." Arush replied.
Vanya jutted out her lower lip in an awe and wrapped her arms around his neck from the side, "Ek tu hi hai jisey meri fikar hai." She mumbled.
They both kept sitting there, talking to each other but Vanya's eyes never wavered away from the door.
An hour passed away but Aditya didn't open the door.
With the each passing moment her hope had started shattering but she remained firm on her decision.
The rain had started pouring outside out of the blue as it was not the monsoon season.
Vanya's eyes twinkled with an idea and she quickly got up from the chair.
"Kya hua, di? Strike khatam?" Arush asked, standing up on his feet.
"Nahi, next level start." Vanya said and started walking.
"Matlab?" Arush asked, following her.
"Matlab kuch nahi, ab mai bahar jaa kar Adi ka wait karungi." She replied.
"Par bahar to baarish ho rahi hai." He said.
"Exactly." She replied with a knowing smile, "Tu yaheen ruk, iske aage tujhe saath dene ki jaroorat nahi hai." She told him.
"Par baarish me khade hone se beemar ho jaoge aap." He said in a concerned voice.
"Ho jane de." She replied, "I deserve it." She muttered.
She walked to the front garden and stood there. The rain poured on her body, drenching her hair and clothes. Her clothes clung to her body, the wind was flowing making her shiver. Arush went towards Aditya's room and knocked on the door but Aditya didn't open it as he was thinking it was Vanya.
"Bhai, mai hoon Arush." Arush said, "Vani di bahar baarish me khadi hain aur keh rahi hain jab tak aap unhe maaf nahi karoge wo waheen khadi rahengi." He filled him with the information.
Aditya was studying inside his room but his ears perked up instantly listening to Arush. He stood up and opened the door without waiting for a moment.
"What?" He asked incredulously.
"Haan bhai, maine unhe samjhaya ki aap beemar pad jaoge par wo wahan se hat hi nahi rahi hain." Arush said.
Aditya went inside his room and directly walked to the balcony.
His jaw clenched looking at Vanya who was standing in the middle of the garden in the heavy rain.
The slight tremble of her body didn't go unnoticed by him and he fisted his hands in anger.
He quickly pulled out his phone from the pocket and dialled a number before pressing it against his ear.
"Bol?" Reyansh's voice came from the other side.
"Ghar aaiye aur apni behen ko lekar jaiye. Dimaag kharab ho gaya hai uska." He said in a furious tone, his grip was tightened around the phone.
"I'm very well aware of my sister's mental health." Reyansh spoke casually, "Aur kuch important hai to bata, mujhe aur bhi kaam hai." He said.
"Bhai, mai serious hoon." Aditya said through gritted teeth, "Wo zid karke bahar baarish me khadi hai." He informed.
"Listen Adi, it's between you and her. Do whatever you want, just don't disturb me." Reyansh said and declined the call.
Aditya looked at his phone in anger and just about to throw it against the wall when he realized that it was only a week old. He threw it on the bed and marched outside towards the garden.
Vanya smiled looking at him approaching her. Aditya walked to her taking long strides, his eyes were raging with anger. He got drenched in the rain, his own shirt clung to his chest defining his lean body and abs.
"Dimaag theek hai tera?" He asked her sharply.
"I'm sorry." She said in a low voice.
"Beemar hone ka jyada shok hai tujhe?" He scolded.
"I'm sorry." She repeated.
"Andar chal." He told her.
"I'm sorry." She again whispered, looking straight in his eyes.
"For god's sake, stop saying sorry." He shouted on top of his lungs making her flinched.
The tears flowed out of her eyes, the rain worked as a cover but Aditya was quick to notice her tears. He looked away for a moment before gently cupping her face, he brushed away the tear with a gentle rub. She was staring at him with teary eyes and he was silently wiping off her tears.
"I'm sorry." She choked out, "I love you. I really do. Just give me a chance." She sobbed.
Aditya's eyes softened and he pulled her in a tight hug.
She melt down in his arms just like the rain water.
She wrapped her arms around him in a tight hug filled with the longing.
He pressed his lips on the crown of her head, she closed her eyes feeling his warmth despite of the cold air.
They pulled back and shared a look before pressing their lips against each other.
He was gripping her by her nape, his other hand was grabbing her waist. Her claws were fisting the hair from the back of his head.
Their bodies were glued against each other so tightly that even the rain water could not passed from between them.
Their bodies were soaked with the rain and souls with the love mixed with the passion.
Sia and Abhishek were looking at both of them from the balcony.
Their eyes widened the moment they pressed their lips against each other.
Abhishek and Sia shared a look with each other before looking away awkwardly.
On the other side, Arush and Sadhwi were watching Aditya and Vanya from the entrance of the hallway.
Their mouths were hung open and eyes widened like saucer.
They both glanced at each other and looked away blushing.
Three different stories under one roof.
