Chapter 160
Advait was in his room, sitting on the couch his laptop was placed on his lap. His jaw was set stoically and his sharp gaze was fixed on the screen when the door of the room burst open making Advait look up and an angry Shreya entered the room.
"Ye kya kiya aapne?" Shreya said, his voice was laced with anger, "Bacchon ko koi pipe se maarta hai kya?" She said.
Advait ignored her and turned his focus back on the laptop. Shreya glared at him but he was unfazed, she put down her bag on the table before standing in front of him, "Advait, mai aapse baat kar rahi hoon." She said firmly.
"Mujhe abhi iss baare me koi baat nahi karni hai. I'm busy right now." Advait replied calmly without looking up.
"Magar mujhe abhi baat karni hai." She said in a stern tone.
Advait again ignored her, his fingers didn't stop dancing over the keys. Shreya exhaled through her nose in anger before picking up the laptop and throwing it on the floor causing it break.
The room fell into a chilling silence. Advait's sharp gaze was pinned on the broken device on the floor. He took a deep breath and rubbed his palms over his face before looking up at her, "Kahiye." He said in a calm voice.
"Aapne Aru par haath uthaya?" She asked him, still fuming.
"Nahi." Advait replied, "Pipe uthaya." He said, leaning back on the couch.
"Advait." She pressed his name in a warning, "Aapne usko maara kyunki usne smoking ki, pucha nahi usse usey cigarettes kahan se mili?" She asked rhetorically.
Advait raised his brow, "Aapke cupboard se." She infomed him, "Uska kehna hai jab bhaiya kar sakte hain to mai kyun nahi kar sakta." She told him.
Advait stood up from the couch, "Usey mere cupboard se cigarettes mili?" He asked, cursing himself for tossing the box carelessly anywhere.
"Ji haan." Shreya replied, "Uski kya galati hai jo aapne usey maara?
Wo to wahi karega na jo apne se badon ko karta hua dekhega.
" She said, glaring at him, "Kitni baar kaha hai aapse ye cigarettes, sharaab sab chord dijiye bacche dekhenge to kya seekhenge par aapko kabhi kisi ki sunni nahi hoti hai.
" She said in disapproval, yelling at him.
Advait closed his eyes briefly before speaking, "I accept meri galati hai par ye koi excuse nahi hai, Shreya.
Agar wo dekh kar seekhte hain to aaj tak kuch accha kyun nahi seekhe?
Buri aadat apnane me ek din nahi laga aur bachpan se jo acchai seekhate aa raha hoon unhe aaj tak nahi apnapaaye.
" He said, shaking his head at his stubborn and foolish kids.
"Sacch to ye hai ki aadat ho gayi hai in sabko galatiyaan karne ki, karne do jo karna hai. Jab aaj tak kuch accha nahi seekha paya to ab kya seekha paunga." He said being disappointing in himself.
"Ye kaisi baatein kar rahe hain aap, wo bacchein hain wo to galati karenge hi par aapka farz banta hai unhe pyar se samjhana, unhe sudharna aur sahi raasta dikhana." She said, resting her hand on his arm.
"Wo bacchein nahi hain ab Shreya, bade ho chuke hain.
" Advait said clearly and settled down on the couch, "Bohot ho gaya ab, mai har waqt unhe sudharne nahi baith sakta.
Agar wo meri zara bhi parwaah karte to aisi koi harkat nahi karte jisse mujhe dukh ho.
Mai thak gaya hoon ab samjhate samjhate, ab kare jisey jo karna hai.
" He said, raking his hand over his hair in exhaustion.
Shreya's features softened looking at her husband's distressed state. She sighed and gently placed her hand on his shoulder, "Aap pareshaan mat hoiye aur thodi der rest kar lijiye accha lagega." She said gently.

It was nearly the dinner time, Advait was walking down the stairs but stopped looking at Angad who was waiting at the end of the stairs. Advait moved ahead and stopped in front of Angad.
"Kuch kehna hai aapko?" Advait asked looking at his expression.
"Tumne sirf Aru par haath kyun uthaya?" Angad asked directly.
Advait narrowed his eyes at the accusation, "Kehna kya chahte hain aap?" He asked.
"Yahi ki tumne sirf Aru par haath uthaya kyunki tumhe pata chal gaya wo iss ghar ka khoon nahi hai warna galati to Adi ne bhi ki thi tumne uss par to awaaz tak nahi uthayi haath uthana to door ki baat hai." Angad accused him in anger.
Advait's eyes widened slightly, he quickly looked around himself before dragging Angad by his arm to the corner. He stopped when they reached to the silent hallway and left his hand.
"Ye kya bakwas kar rahe hain aap?" Advait said in an incredulous tone, "Maine aapse kaha tha na aap iss baat ka zikar kabhi dubara nahi karenge." He said.
"Haan kaha tha par tumne mujhe majboor kiya ye baat dubara kehne par. Waise to tum Aru se bohot pyar karte the aur ab jab tumhe pata chal gaya ki wo tumhara saga nahi hai to tumne usey janwaro ki tarah peeta." Angad said in the equal anger.
"Baar baar ye baat kehna band kijiye." Advait warned him, "Mera beta hai wo galati karega to maar bhi khayega iska matlab ye nahi hai ki mai usse pyar nahi karta hoon." Advait justified, his chest was heaving up and down with the false accusation.
"To tumne Adi ko kyun kuch nahi kaha, galati to usse bhi huyi thi." Angad retorted.
Advait clenched his fists at his sides, "I'm not answerable to you." He said clearly before taking deep breaths.
Advait had started feeling scared what if Angad would tell the truth to Arush. The thought made his soul shivered, he looked at Angad, "Apna samaan pack kijiye, mai aapki tickets kar raha hoon. Aap aaj abhi dadi-dadu ke paas jaa rahe hain." He told him in a firm voice.
Angad narrowed his eyes, "Kyun dar lag raha hai tumhe ki mai Aru ko sacch bata dunga aur phir wo tumse humesha ke liye door ho jayega?" He asked.
Advait's temper flared. He held Angad by his collar, pushing him against the wall, "Ye baat Aru ko kabhi pata nahi chalegi aur jis din pata chali na wo din aapka iss duniya me aakhiri din hoga." He said through gritted teeth pressing each and every word. His eyes were darkened dangerously.
"Mai Aru ko kuch nahi batana chahta magar tum mujhe majboor kar rahe ho. Sacch janne ke baad usse alag dhang se pesh aa rahe ho." Angad said, getting out of his hold.
Advait kept staring at him, "Aap apna samaan pack kariye, driver aapko airport drop kar dega." He said and left from there.
After half an hour, Angad left the mansion and sat down in the car.
He felt a pang of hurt in his chest when nobody came to see him off.
The driver started the car and pulled it on the road.
It was dark and the road was deserted. Angad was staring outside of the window when suddenly the car stopped with a jerk.
"Kya hua, gaadi kyun rok di?" Angad asked.
The driver didn't reply and Angad saw a few men approaching them taking long strides but before he could comprehend the situation, the door of the car pulled open with a sound and the man pulled Angad out of the car.
Angad had started panicking in fear, throwing his hands here and there trying to fight with them but they were stronger.
The men started taking him to their car.
"Kaun ho tum log?" Angad wriggled in their hold, "Kahan le jaa rahe ho mujhe?" He shouted when they pushed him inside their car.

In Malhotra Mansion, everyone was seated in the dining room except for Advait who wasn't present there. He was restlessly pacing here and there in his room when his phone had started ringing. He picked up the call, pressing the phone against ear.
"Kaam ho gaya, boss." A voice came from the other side making Advait sighed in relief.
"Theek hai." Advait replied before hanging up the call.
He sat down on the bed with a heavy sigh, the moment Angad had threatened him was the moment he had written his own faith.
Leaving Angad out in the open could be risky, he could tell the truth to Arush anytime and Advait could never afford that.
He would destroy the every single thing who even thought of seperating his kids from him.
Advait headed downstairs for dinner, he entered the room and took his place. He served himself and started having the food when his gaze landed on Aditya and Arush who were just playing with their food and not eating actually. Advait glanced at Shreya and gestured her to tell them to eat properly.
"Adi, Aru theek se khao baccho." Shreya said.
They quietly nodded their heads and continued eating glancing at Advait in between who was ignoring them.
"Bhaiya, sorry." Arush whispered slowly.
Advait heard him as he was sitting beside him.
Arush gently tucked on his sleeve when Advait didn't respond to his apology but Advait glared at him making him look down.
On the other side, Aditya was sitting on his chair with confusion etched on his face.
Advait wasn't talking to none of them but he was totally ignoring Aditya.
Advait's behavior was confusing him as he didn't even scold him let alone hitting him like Arush and now he was giving him silent treatment.
"Sorry." Arush said, tucking on Advait's sleeve again.
"Agar phir se thappad nahi khana hai to chup chaap apna khana khao aur room me jao." Advait said in a low voice making his eyes teary.
Abhishek and Sia looked between both of them in confusion but kept their mouth shut. Advait's gaze landed on Abhishek and he spoke up, "Abhi, dinner ke baad meri study me aana." He told him, making him pause for a moment.
Everyone looked at Abhishek to know what had happened that he got the invitation to Advait's study room. Abhishek looked down, already anticipating what was coming to his side.
"Ji bhaiya." He said.
The rest of the dinner was a silent affair, everyone left the room one by one. Advait stood up and directly went towards his study where Abhishek was already waiting outside. Advait opened the door and they both made their ways inside.
"Baith." Advait told him while pointing at the sofa, placed at the other side of the room.
Abhishek kept standing waiting for Advait to sit down first. Advait moved when he noticed Abhishek was still standing and sat down before gesturing him to sit down beside him which he obeyed quickly.
Advait turned completely towards Abhishek and cupped his cheeks softly, "Sacch sacch bata kya hua hai?" He asked.
Abhishek caught off guard, he quickly looked down shaking his head in denial, "Kuch bhi nahi, bhaiya." He replied.
Advait sighed and held his hands, "Mujhe pata hai tu bohot acche se jhooth bol leta hai par ye waqt jhooth bolne ka nahi hai, beta." He said, "Mujhe sacch janna hai mera beta kyun itna pareshaan hai." He said, encouraging him.
"Kaha to tha bhaiya bas wo thoda kaam ka stress hai...
"Aag laga dunga mai aise kaam ko jo mere bacche ko itna stress de." Advait cut him off angrily, "Mujhe pata hai koi kaam ka stress nahi hai baat kuch aur hai." He said.
Abhishek didn't reply and kept looking down at his hands which were held by Advait.
"Kya baat hai, Abhi? Tu aur Sia dono hi pareshaan lag rahe ho. Kya hua hai baccha jab tak tu mujhe batayega nahi mai teri pareshaani door kaise karunga?" He said in a light voice to assure him.
"Sacch janne ke baad aap meri shakal tak nahi dekhenge, bhaiya." Abhishek said, the tears were threatening to spill out, "Mai aapke pyar ke layak nahi hoon, bhaiya. Aapke kya mai kisi ke pyar ke layak nahi hoon. Mai sirf akele rehna deserve karta hoon." He said in a hoarse voice.
"Kaisi baatein kar raha hai ye? Agar koi galati huyi hai tujhse to theek ho jayegi iska matlab ye thodi na hai ki tu kisi ke pyar ke layak nahi hai." Advait chided him gently, "Mera baccha duniya ki saari khushiyaan deserve karta hai." He told him, cupping his cheeks.
"Kuch deserve nahi karta mai." Abhishek said, getting out of his hold, "Meri wajah se sirf logon ko dukh pohcha hai, mai kabhi kisi ko khushiyaan nahi de sakta." He said, the tears fell out of his eyes.
Advait's heart clenched at the sight of him in tears, "Abhi, kya hua hai? Bata mujhe." He said firmly.
Abhishek looked down with a choked sob, "Maine Sia ko tod diya, bhaiya." He whispered, "Uska bharosa, uske sapne sab barbaad kar diya maine." He said.
The fear clawed at Advait's heart, he held Abhishek by his shoulders and made him look up, "Kya kiya tune?" He asked, his voice was laced with fear.
Abhishek's face was soaked with tears. He looked up with tears filled eyes, "Roohanika ka phone aaya tha, milna chahti thi wo mujhse." Abhishek informed making Advait clenched his jaw in anger.
"Uski awaaz sun kar mai pagal ho gaya bhaiya mera kaleja fatne laga, mujhe bohot takleef ho rahi thi uska diya hua dhokha yaad karke aur maine uss dard se bachne ke liye.
..sharaab ka sahara liya." He confessed and Advait's eyes hardened immediately but he was listening to Abhishek silently, "Mujhe kuch bhi yaad nahi maine nashe me kya kiya, Sia se kya kaha par maine uske saath bohot galat kiya.
" He said making Advait's eyes widened. Abhishek was sobbing, looking down at his lap.
Advait gripped his chin and made him look up, "Did you touch her without her consent?" He asked, dreading for the answer.
A tear fell out of Abhishek's eyes and he gave a shaky nod, making Advait's grip loosened. His hand fell down, he had felt like someone had slapped on his upbringing.
"I touched her while taking Roohanika's name." Abhishek whispered being disgusted with himself.
Advait was froze on his place, he didn't utter a word.
He was beyond shocked with the revelation.
He was the one who forced Sia to marry Abhishek, how would he face her now.
Sia didn't deserve this, she didn't deserve any of this.
He had destroyed her life for his own selfishness.
The thought made his stomach churned, his mind had stopped working.
"Bhaiya." Abhishek's voice dragged him out to the harsh reality of the life. Advait looked down and Abhishek was sitting on the floor. His head was rested on Advait's lap and he was crying miserably.
"Mujh-Mujhse bohot badi galati ho gayi, bhaiya.
Maine sab barbaad kar diya, mai kisi ki maafi ke layak nahi hoon.
" He cried, "Jo bhi mera accha chahte the maine un sabko takleef pohchayi hain.
Aap to mera accha hi chahte the par maine aapko itna galat kaha ki aapko meri wajah se he-heart attack aaya.
" He sobbed, "Sia ne mujhse shaadi ki mujhe ek moka diya ye jaante huye bhi ki mai usey ka-kabhi wo pyar nahi de paunga jo wo deserve karti hai.
Wo to mujhe khush dekhna chahti thi par maine usey badle me kya diya.
.. dhokha, dukh. Maine usse uska sab kuch cheen liya, maine kho diya usey.
" He cried, clutching on Advait's pants.
His head was buried in his lap soaking the fabric of his pants with his tears.
Advait's heart was breaking piece by piece looking at the state of his son.
He was cursing himself for all of this. He gently placed his hand on Abhishek's head, "Galati teri nahi hai, Abhi.
Mai selfish tha aur maine apni selfishness me do zindagiyaan barbaad kardi.
Mujhe laga tha ki tu Sia se shaadi karne ke baad apne past ko bhool jayega magar mai ye bhool gaya ki gehre zakhmon ko bharne me waqt lagta hai jo maine tujhe kabhi diya hi nahi.
" He said in a low voice, he was fearing if he spoke in a loud voice he would break down in front of Abhishek, "Maine Sia ko kaha tha tujhse shaadi karne ke liye.
Maine Adi ko kaha tha tujhe Sia se shaadi karne ke liye manane ke liye.
Ye sab kuch meri galati hai, teri kharab zindagi theek karne ke liye maine Sia ki acchi khaasi zindagi barbaad kar di.
Mai kaise jaunga uske saamne, kaise kahunga usko ki wo bhi mere liye utni hi matter karti hai jitna ki tu jab ki maine tujhe khush dekhne ke liye uski khushiyaan kurbaan kar di.
" The corner of his eyes pricked with tears but he controlled himself in front of Abhishek.
Abhishek slowly looked up, "Maine sab khatam kar diya, bhaiya. I'm sorry." He cried bitterly and rested his forehead against Advait's hands.
