W hen Cooper steps into the room he closes the door behind him. I’m just sitting on one of the two double beds staring at our luggage that Theo’s friend Sebastian helped bring up for me.

Carmen has always been over the top and I know she has a heart made of pure Tungsten. I mean she could probably get the strongest metal in the world to bend with her withering stare, so I definitely wouldn’t consider her heart made of gold.

“How’s Carmen?” I ask as Cooper turns and leans against the door. Not coming any closer.

“She’ll be fine.” He takes a deep breath before he continues, “Tony showed up after all.”

“No shit!?” Cooper just shrugs as I shake my head and smile. “You think she’s going to eat him alive?”

“I think he’d like it.”

“Ew! Shut up!”

We are both laughing when Coop finally pushes off the door. Walking over, he stops in front of me and crouches down, folding his arms across my lap. Resting his chin on his ink covered skin as he looks up at me, “I think we lost our room. At least I don’t want it after mom and Tony make up .”

Trin looks back at the two double beds and sighs before her head slowly turns and her mischievous eyes find mine. “I think we can make due. Just old times.”

Leaning back on her elbows she starts to spread her legs and my eyes are instantly drawn to where her thighs are slowly coming apart. My heart begins to race as I move my hands and grip the corners of the mattress on either side of her.

I’m frozen in place, hypnotized by how tediously slow she’s moving. Teasing me as I bite my lip and fist the sheets. Her fingers slowly slide up her thigh as she caresses herself and my mouth opens. A low growl rumbles deep in my chest.

I know I should look away.

I need to look away, but I can’t.

Then suddenly a fist pounds at the door ripping me from my daze. I close my eyes, reciting a silent prayer to the gods as I push up to my feet to answer the door.

It’s Theo’s friend Matteo who’s standing out in the hallway, “Luna sent me up to get you guys. We are having drinks downstairs.”

“Perfect.” I answer, giving Matteo a nod and a smile. Dude is my saving grace and he doesn’t even know it. “We’ll be right down.”

I don’t bother shutting the door. Instead I push it all the way open and don’t even dare to step any closer to my wife, who is giving me a disappointed look now that Matteo has completed his duty and is heading back downstairs.

“Get your frisky little ass off that bed so we can go downstairs.”

Trin stands and skips over. Dragging a hand down my chest before kissing me on the cheek. “Mhmm yes daddy.”

“ Fucking hell .” I tilt my head back, closing my eyes and blow out a long breath as I hear her giggle past me.

Taking a minute to gather myself I close our door and make my way downstairs. I can hear the party before I even come around the corner.

When I do, Trin and Luna’s boss Stella is standing next to Sebastian with a glass raised as she gives a speech congratulating the happy couple.

Luckily for us all, she doesn’t go into too many details of how her friend and employee and my little brother met on the job.

Eyeing Trin across the room, I see she’s with Luna and Matteo’s wife Olivia. I choose to walk up to where my brother stands with his friends and slap him on the back before he turns and pulls me into a big bear hug.

“So how’s the… You know.” Theo whispers and when I pull back to look at him his eyebrows are dancing and a big shit eating grin tugs at his lips.

“You gotta help me make it four more days.” I plead and he keels over and bursts out laughing so rough and loud the entire room turns to look.

I kick him and it only makes him laugh harder. “Knock it off. I’m being serious.”

He finally collects himself, pushing up from where his hands are on his knees and looks me in the eye. “I told you this was a dumb idea man. You’re crazy ass won’t listen.”

“What’s so funny?”

“What’s a bad idea?”

Matteo and Sebastian are both looking between themselves with confused looks plastered on their polished faces.

“He reversed his vasectomy and refuses to tell his wife. That’s why I left the house early when we were meeting with the landscaper. He needed me to pick him up from the dick doctor. Came out in a wheelchair with an ice pack on his nuts and everything.” Theo laughs as he explains to the guys and my face couldn’t be anymore lacking in emotion.

Matteo’s eyes go wide and Sebastian covers his mouth in a piss poor attempt to conceal his laughter.

“Dude… You really think that’s a good secret to keep. Maybe a new car or a winter trip to the beach, but that?” Matteo gestures to my junk with a wave of his hand as he stares at my crotch.

“It’s actually kind of genius. They are fucking batshit crazy and Trin’s brought it up a few times since she found out about it so I don’t see her getting mad but…” My brother’s words die on his tongue as he looks across the room.

We all look over just as the girls throw back a shot of something clear.

“Bro…” Theo pats me on the shoulder and I close my eyes already knowing what he’s going to say next. “If that’s tequila you’re totally fucked.”

I hear Matteo and Sebastian huff their laughs as I open one eye to glare at my brother. So close to making Luna a widow before she even walks down the aisle.

“Sorry man. Bad choice of words.”

“Okay. Okay. We can figure this out. It’s only four more days right?” Sebastian claps his hands in front of his chest as the gears in his evil genius mind start to turn.

“Yeah, I’m sure Seb here can come up with a plan on how to not get laid. He’s basically a pro. Ain’t that right Seb?” Matteo chirps as Sebastian just glares back at him.

“I’m sure Luna can have you do tons of work around here for the wedding. Her list is a mile long.” Theo suggests.

“Good. Good, I like that. I can always kind of… linger around too, and run interference.” Sebastian suggests.

“Do the girls know?”

A deep low voice cuts in and my head jerks to the side to find Marco. Luna’s brother-in-law and Matteo’s actual brother.

“How long have you been there?” I ask.

“Long enough to know what you idiots are planning.” He sips an amber liquid from a rocks glass as he shakes his head.

“You really need to speak up once in a while. An ogre like you shouldn’t be this stealthy.” Matteo nudges his brother with his elbow.

“I don’t support any of the plans you fools are concocting but you can always say you’re sick or have a headache from the heat and need a few days to adjust.” Marco deadpans as he takes another sip from his glass.

“That’s good!” Theo waves his finger as he points to Marco.

“It’s only four more days. How hard can it be?” Matteo asks, raising a brow. The irony of his words is not lost.

“Yep.” I look over at Trin as she downs another shot of something clear and all I can do is pray it’s not tequila. “Four long days.”

“You got this bro.” Theo pats my back as he watches the girls having the time of their life from right next to me. “If all else fails, get hammered. She can’t fuck you if your passed out.”

I tip my head as I consider. He has a point but clearly he doesn’t know my wife the way I know my wife. Though I clink our glasses anyway.
