The Name They Share

Florence Rency Faber is alive, but the marriage license she uncovers belonged to her long-dead great-great-grandmother. The name on it is one they share, and Rency cannot stop herself from writing it on the dotted line. After that, past and present start to run together.

A dream from a century ago keeps returning. In the woods beside her grandmother’s house, a little stone house disappears and will not stay gone. Henry, the neighbor she is drawn to by an uncanny, almost cosmic bond, is a ghost.

She is only visiting for the summer, yet she sets out to break the curse that holds him in the veil between life and death.

The old story pulls her deeper, with consequences she cannot predict and stakes that keep rising.

Before she has to leave, she must decide whether to remain in that in-between world with the man she loves or return to a life without him.
