Extra Epilogue

COLE

“Can we play games now?” Colin asked, jumping up and down with excitement.

I glanced from my five-year-old son to his older sisters, who looked just as eager for the night’s activities.

With the kids getting older and involved in so many activities, it was harder to find a night to just be us, as a family. But I carved out time as often as possible since I knew it was only a matter of years before each one got too “grown up” to have family game night.

Until then, their adorable, happy faces made my chest feel like it was about to explode with love.

“I got a new game just for tonight,” Lorna announced as she strolled in from the kitchen carrying a tray of cookies and glasses of milk. “Colin, it’s in a bag in my bedroom, would you go grab it, sweetie?”

“Yep!” he said before bolting down the hall.

“Let me help you with that, lass,” I murmured, taking the tray from my gorgeous wife and swiping a quick kiss over her lips before taking the treats to the coffee table.

“Thanks,” she replied, her smile sparking desire in my body. Just like it always did, even more so after all these years together.

Colin skidded back into the room like he’d been running at full speed—a likely scenario—and held his hand up. “Got it! Twister! Yay!”

Lorna frowned. “That’s not—”

“Twister isn’t new.” Caroline sighed, her face awash with disappointment so acute, I almost believed that something tragic had happened. The tween years were upon us, and the drama that accompanied it was a fuck of a lot more intense than I’d expected. Despite all the warnings from other girl dads.

That wasn’t the biggest problem I was facing, though.

At twelve, Caroline was looking more and more like her mother every day…

and it was clear that her sisters would be carbon copies of Lorna as well.

I was beginning to realize that all of my precious baby girls were going to be every bit as gorgeous as my wife.

I was so fucking screwed.

“It’s a new Twister,” Colin insisted, taking my mind off that terrifying train of thought.

“Where’s the mat?” Cara asked, clearly confused by the whole exchange.

“I don’t think you need one.” Colin opened his hand to reveal a pair of dice, then slowly began to examine one, turning it slowly to see each side.

I couldn’t see what was on them, but my senses were tingling, warning me that something was coming. Like the feeling I got right before my quarterback was about to be sacked. Slowly, I stood and took a step toward my son.

“Let me see,” Catherine huffed, swiping the dice from her brother.

I’d almost reached them when she squinted and held up one of the little cubes. “It looks like we’re supposed to get into some kind of position with someone else.” Her nose scrunched up. “What’s reverse cowgirl? It—”

“No!” Lorna squeaked and lunged toward our daughter just as I made a grab for the dice and muttered, “Fuck!”

Catherine backed up quickly, her green eyes wide as they bounced between me and her mother.

“Sorry, Cat,” Lorna breathed, her cheeks as flaming red as her hair. “Didn’t mean to scare you, it’s just um…those are um…”

“Not a family game,” I finished for her. Peeking down at the items in my hand I winced, praying my sweet girl was too innocent to realize that she’d been staring at the silhouette of a woman riding a man in the backward position.

“Why not?” Corrine huffed, putting her hands on her hips. “We aren’t babies anymore, we can play grown-up games.”

“I know you aren’t babies,” Lorna murmured, “But there are still…games…um, you aren’t old enough to play.”

“Never,” I growled as I squeezed the dice in my fist. “They’ll never be old enough.”

Lorna tossed me a disgruntled frown, but I wasn’t gonna budge. She rolled her eyes. “Why don’t you put those away and grab another game?”

Thinking about the items in my hand, I grinned. “I might need some help, baby. You should probably come with me.”

Her glare was ruined by the pretty pink blush that painted her cheeks. “I think you can handle it.”

“I don’t know,” I drawled. “Seems like this takes two people.”

Raising an eyebrow, I held out my hand and stared her down so she knew I wasn’t going to budge on this.

She glanced around at our perplexed children, then she sighed.

“Be right back,” I told the kids. “Eat as many cookies as you want.”

When they shouted for joy and practically dove for the sweets, Lorna narrowed her eyes at me. I just grinned as I watched her turn and saunter down the hallway, a little extra sway in her hips, sending bolts of desire straight to my cock.

“Definitely getting spanked tonight, lass,” I growled when I caught up.

“Only if you roll that on the dice,” she sassed.

We reached our room, and I pushed the door shut and dragged her into my arms, crashing my mouth onto hers.

Fucking hell. I would never get enough of her. My dick was ready to punch through my pants by the time there was a knock on the door.

“Can I help?” Colin called from the other side.

Lorna turned beet red and started sputtering, while I burst out laughing.

“Thanks, but we got this,” she finally managed to say.

“Okaaaaaay,” he muttered, then his little feet padded down the hall.

“We’ve definitely got this,” I teased, giving my wife another quick kiss.

“We do,” she agreed with a soft smile. “I love you, Cole.”

“Grá mo chroí thú, lass.”
