Chapter Six #3
“That’s not important right now,” Ryan said. “Does anyone else know?”
“No,” Damian said. “Other than Amanda, I’m pretty sure I didn’t tell anyone else.”
Ryan looked to Amanda for a response, and she shook her head no.
“She asked me not to tell anyone,” Amanda confirmed. “I have the evidence, though.”
“We will have to figure this out soon,” Ryan said. “But not today.”
Damian slept for most of the day. They took turns staying with him, but they knew he was in the clear and just needed more rest. As evening approached, Amanda insisted that Ryan and Callie go home.
She would stay at the hospital a bit longer and let them know if anything changed.
Damian had authorized Amanda to be part of his care team and confirmed that Ryan would have full oversight of his medical care if Damian were unable to make those decisions for himself.
He also ensured that his file stated that his parents were not to be contacted and had no authority.
Although they were exhausted by the time they returned home, Ryan felt the stress he had carried for so long finally lift from his shoulders. He pulled Callie into his arms and kissed her.
“What’s that about?” Callie asked as they broke their kiss, but he still held her tight.
“I’m just relieved,” Ryan said.
“Relieved?” Callie asked. “From where I’m standing, it feels more like you need relief.”
She pressed her body against his, and he knew she could feel him hardening.
He kissed her again and carefully lifted her as she wrapped her legs around him.
He intended to take her to the bedroom, but then he changed his mind.
He headed to the balcony. Callie giggled when she realized where he was taking her.
He stepped out, then sat them on one of the patio recliners.
It was late at night, and the patio light was turned off.
They had a beautiful view of the city in front of them.
He knew if someone looked hard enough, they could be seen, but the darkness provided cover.
Callie sat on his lap, pulled off his shirt, and ran her hands over his chest. They worked slowly, undressing each other, pausing to share more passionate kisses.
Ryan caressed Callie’s breasts, slowly massaging each in turn.
He could tell she was getting more aroused with each touch, but he didn’t want to rush things.
Being naked outdoors in the fresh air made it feel more erotic.
He slipped his hand between her legs, playing with her.
She groaned, leaning back slightly to give him better access.
She looked so sexy in the pale light of the city at night.
She was gently rocking as he continued to pleasure her, but he knew that wasn’t what she wanted.
She guided him in and moaned again as she started moving on him.
He was at her mercy as he sat in the chair, with her on top, having full control.
As she quickened her movements, he thought he would explode, but he wanted to hold on and last for her.
His body was betraying him as he pushed upwards with each of Callie’s desperate drives down.
He could feel her muscles tightening around him, which meant she was getting close, but she continued to ride him hard.
Then he felt her convulse with her climax and he lost control.
She collapsed in his arms, breathing hard, and he held her close.
“I love you so much,” he whispered in her ear.
“I love you too,” she replied. He could feel her smile against his chest.
Damian felt exhausted and kept falling asleep.
When he woke, either Callie, Ryan, or Amanda was by his side.
Eventually, when he woke again, it was night.
He knew it was late from how dark and quiet it was, but he saw Amanda asleep in the chair beside his bed.
He wondered why she was still there. There were nurses and doctors on the night shift; she should have gone home to rest. He reached out and gently shook her awake.
The touch startled her more than he intended, and she looked at him, embarrassed.
“Go home,” Damian insisted. “I’m fine now. Go get some sleep.”
“You’re better,” Amanda corrected. “You’re not fine. Not yet.”
“You still don’t need to stay here,” Damian protested.
He didn’t mind the company. Truthfully, he appreciated it.
He didn’t understand what had happened to him or why.
If the Night Service was trying to protect Lawrence Grant, he doubted they would do anything while Amanda was with him.
But he couldn’t keep Amanda there all night. She needed to sleep properly, too.
“I feel I owe you,” she admitted.
“Because of your uncle?” Damian asked.
“That, and,” she paused.
“And?” he questioned.
“I was disappointed when you didn’t call me,” she confessed, blushing.
“And then you realized I was in a coma and felt guilty for being mad at me,” he laughed.
“In my defense, there were a few days between our kiss and your coma,” Amanda teased.
“Yeah, I guess there was,” he admitted.
He sighed, leaning back, and she rose from the chair to sit on the edge of the bed.
He hadn’t wanted to get involved with her for so many reasons.
The main one was that he still hoped something would happen with Ryan and Callie.
Amanda seemed like an amazing person. It was pretty clear Ryan and Callie’s relationship was progressing well, and he was just in the friend zone now.
There didn’t seem to be any reason left not to pursue something with Amanda.
“I felt I needed to get things sorted with Brittnay’s family,” Damian explained. “I didn’t think it would be fair to anyone if my girlfriend’s death still hung over my head.”
“But Ryan’s taking care of that?” Amanda asked.
“Yes, he’s trying,” Damian confirmed.
“And he thinks you’ll win?” Amanda continued.
“He’s pretty confident,” he agreed.
She looked deep into his eyes. He knew what she wanted to see, any evidence that he would reject her.
She leaned forward and kissed him. Her lips were soft and her actions passionate.
He longed for physical contact, he hadn’t been with anyone he cared for since the night with Ryan and Callie.
Amanda placed a hand on his leg, much higher than he would have liked, considering where they were.
He couldn’t help but react, and once again she noticed.
She ended the kiss but didn’t remove her hand.
Her palm was ever so slightly touching his hardening cock and she grinned at him while he blushed.
“If I tried to help you with that, you might end up in a coma again,” she whispered.
“I’m almost willing to take that risk,” he said, smiling.
He liked flirting with her. She was a beautiful woman. A moment later, she removed her hand, moved off the bed, and sat in the chair again. She reached for his hand and held it.
“You need to rest,” she said, the flirtation over. “In a few days, you may be able to go home.”
“Thank you,” he said, raising her hand to his lips and kissing it. She blushed but didn’t pull away. They chatted casually throughout the night.
Damian was released from the hospital a few days later.
Although he wanted to go home alone, they all insisted on helping.
It was the first time anyone had been in his apartment, and it felt strange.
He had been hiding his personal life from everyone for so long, but they knew everything about him now.
Once he was settled back in, he insisted they could leave, but there were several excuses not to.
Personal safety was the main concern, and having someone monitor him, just in case of complications, seemed important, too.
Damian’s wishes were ignored, and eventually Amanda made a suggestion that seemed to resolve all the concerns.
She would stay, and Nathan, who was still providing security for Amanda, would also be nearby.
Damian could see Ryan wasn’t satisfied with the solution, but there was nothing left to argue, and eventually he and Callie left.
“To bed!” Amanda ordered when they were alone.
“That’s pretty forward of you,” Damian smirked.
“Oh no,” Amanda replied. “No strenuous activity for at least another week.”
Amanda pushed him toward the bed, and he was forced to sit.
She began searching his dresser until she found a pair of sweatpants.
Damian wanted to protest that he could change his own clothes, but Amanda didn’t give him the chance.
She reached around him and removed his shirt, pausing to stare at him.
He still had fading bruises and stitches, but the evidence of the accident was becoming less obvious.
“Jeans off,” she ordered.
She didn’t wait for him to comply and started unbuttoning his pants. Damian grinned at her as she continued to remove the rest of his clothing. She admired him, then kissed him again. Gently pushing him onto the bed, she moved on top of him as they continued to kiss.
“I thought you said I wasn’t to engage in strenuous activity?” Damian said as they paused.
“You won’t,” Amada replied with a grin. “Just lie back and relax.”
He lay back as instructed, and she began to kiss his chest, then slowly moved lower. He felt her hands start to stroke him. She rubbed him slowly but firmly, and Damian closed his eyes as the stimulation intensified. Then he felt her move lower as she began to kiss the inside of his thighs.
“Oh god!” he yelled out when he felt her mouth around him.
