Chapter 46 – remi
Forty-Six
remi
Thiago’s mouth is back on mine, the kiss rougher, whatever restraint he had left gone the instant I challenged him to show me how much he wants me. I fist his curls and realize the fucking mask is still on.
Batman.
I almost laugh again, but then his mouth glides along my jaw and the urge disappears. This was supposed to be fun, and it still is. But tonight, every kiss and touch feels different. More honest. As if we finally stopped pretending this is only about sex.
His.
Mine.
Us.
I spent all this time pretending those words were more dangerous than anything else in my life, and now that I’ve finally said what I want, I don’t feel trapped.
I feel fucking free.
The beat still pulses through the bedroom as Thiago holds me against him, and I move with the rhythm, letting it take over where the laughter left off. His forehead rests against mine.
“Remi.”
It’s just my name, but even that sounds different. I let my weight settle over his abdomen as I grab the edges of his mask, slowly lift it from his face, and toss it aside.
Batman had his turn. Now I want Thiago.
He smiles up at me and reaches for mine, sliding it off and letting it drop to the floor beside his. His fingers then sink into my hair as he brings his mouth back to mine.
“Your lipstick is ruined, chama.”
I chuckle. “Worth it.”
He kisses me once more before murmuring, “Sit on my dick.”
Remi with the smart mouth would give him shit for ordering me around.
But dickmatized Remi?
Yeah, I’m sitting.
Expeditiously.
I ease back and lift my hips, then lower myself onto him, feeling that delicious little piercing first as he stretches me inch by inch, pulling soft moans from my lips. Bracing one hand on his chest, I squeeze my eyes closed and breathe through it.
“That’s my girl.”
My eyes open as his hands cup my ass cheeks.
“Look at me. You like hearing me call you that now, don’t you?”
Normally, I’d make him work for the answer, but tonight, I don’t want to.
“I do.”
His eyes narrow slightly, as if he wasn’t expecting me to admit it so easily.
“I like being your girl,” I whisper.
“Yeah?”
I nod. “Yeah.”
One hand slides into my hair again, and the smile he gives me is so fucking soft that my chest aches with it.
“My girl,” he repeats, gripping my hip with his other hand and guiding me up and down his cock.
“Your…girl,” I breathe.
“Can I ask you a question?”
I swallow hard, biting back a whimper every time the metal drags over my G-spot.
“I’m kind of in the middle of something here, Thiago.”
“I noticed.”
I glare down at him, but whatever comeback I have disintegrates when he rolls his hips beneath me and reaches for my nipple, tweaking the barbell. “Fuck.”
His smile is entirely too pleased with himself. “What’s with the red lipstick?”
I blink at him, breathless. “What?”
“The lipstick.” His words come rougher now, broken by his own breathing and need. “Why red?”
“You’re asking me this now?”
“I’ve been wondering.”
My answer gets lost when he pulls me down harder, and I brace myself against his chest.
“Oh, God…so good.”
“Answer me, chama.”
I drag in a shaky breath and try to remember what the hell he asked me. “Because I like it.”
“Bullshit.”
A laugh tumbles out between breaths. “You ask me a question while you’re fucking me and then tell me my answer is wrong?”
“I know you.”
The words hit differently tonight, and my hips slow as I look down at him, my breathing still uneven.
“My mom,” I finally manage.
His smile fades, but his hands stay on me, and the teasing disappears from his face completely.
“When I was little—” I stop when he bucks up into me, knocking the rest of the sentence straight out of my head. “Fuck, Thiago.”
“You were saying?”
“You’re an asshole.”
His laugh is strained now too.
“I used to watch her get ready,” I say, digging my nails into his chest. “She always put the red lipstick on last.”
I pause to catch my breath.
“Like the finishing touch?”
“Yeah.” I nod, moving with him again. “And when she was done, she’d look at herself in the mirror like she could take on the entire fucking world.”
“So you stole it.”
I laugh. “How did you know?”
“Because I know my girl.”
My girl. God, I really do like hearing that.
“I was six,” I tell him.
“Thief.”
“Cop.”
I lean down until my mouth is barely above his, smiling as I bounce on his cock. “I put it on anyway. Got it everywhere.” My lips brush his when I add, “But I looked in the mirror and felt like her.”
Thiago’s thumb tweaks my nipple. “And you never stopped wearing it.”
“No.” I lean down until my mouth brushes his. “And as touching as this little interview has been, you’ve currently got that massive dick inside me, Braga. Maybe stop asking questions and put it back to work.”
His laugh breaks against my mouth before he rolls his hips up into me, making me gasp. “Better?”
“Much.”
I throw my head back as I ride him, every movement sending another wave through me. When I look down, Thiago is staring at me like he can’t get enough.
Catching the back of my neck, he draws me back for a kiss, lingering for a moment before his gaze drops to what's left of the red smeared across my lips.
“You’re fucking perfect, you know that?”
“Thiago…” My voice comes out softer than I mean it to, but I don’t care anymore.
Thiago wraps an arm around my waist as he sits up with me, and I grab onto his shoulders. Then he rises with me still wrapped around him and carries me across the room until my back meets the wall.
The song continues on a loop behind us, that same filthy beat filling the room.
“That’s it. Fucking take me.” His voice is rough, breathless. “All that attitude, and all it takes is my dick stretching you open to make you sweet for me.”
“Don’t get used to it.”
He laughs against my neck. “Too late. You’re mine now. This pussy is mine.”
My fingers tighten in his hair. “Fuck me harder. Convince me.”
“You can keep pretending you’re hard to own, fera. We both know who you come apart for.” He snaps his hips, damn near fucking me through the drywall, hard enough to send the framed print beside us crashing to the floor. “Now say it. Tell me you’re mine.”
“Soy tuya, Thiago…Toda tuya.*”
His mouth brushes my temple. “E eu sou completamente seu, meu amor.”
And I’m completely yours, my love.
The softness of it after everything else fucking ruins me.
Bass still pulses around us as everything gets harder and faster, each thrust driving me closer. My breathing turns ragged, and I tighten my fingers in his hair as the pressure builds so quickly that I can barely fucking think.
Reaching for my other hand, he threads our fingers together, pinning them against the wall beside my head.
“Oh, fuck, Thiago.”
“I know, baby. I’m right here.”
I bury my face against his shoulder as pleasure coils tighter through my body, my teeth sinking into his skin before I even realize I’m doing it.
“Bite me, Remi. Do it.” His grip firms around mine. “Remember what you said?”
I can barely breathe, let alone remember a fucking conversation. “What?”
“You asked me if I was into biting.”
The memory clicks.
Relax, Officer Braga. I don't bite, unless you're into that.
I lift my head and look at him. “You said yes.”
“I said fuck yes.” His breathing is just as wrecked as mine when he turns his mouth toward my ear. “Mark me, fera.”
That fucking does it.
I sink my teeth into his shoulder as my body locks around him, my fingers clamping his while pleasure tears through me in hard pulses.
“Fuck, Thiago…I’m coming.”
“Just like that, baby. Come all over my fucking cock. Let me feel how hard I make you lose it.”
His mouth finds mine, swallowing the rest of my cry as he comes with me, never letting go.
Even after the last shudder passes, he keeps me there, our joined hands still pinned beside my head.
Thiago’s bedroom blurs around me as I stare across it from my spot in his bed.
I’m lying on my stomach, the blanket resting on my hips, as he traces circles across my back, occasionally following the path of his fingers with gentle kisses. Goosebumps rise with each touch.
For once, I’m content to lie here without needing to move or reach for something to distract my mind. My thoughts aren’t fighting for my attention, and I’m not trying to outrun them or crawl out of myself because I can’t sit still.
I’m just here with him, and I can’t remember the last time doing nothing felt this good.
“Thiago,” I whisper without turning around. “Say that again. What you’ve been calling me tonight.”
His lips brush my shoulder.
“Chama,” he murmurs. “Minha chama.”
I turn enough to look at him. “What does it mean?”
“My flame.”
The answer strips away the very last of my defenses. I close my eyes when his mouth returns to my skin, then roll over to face him.
“Mi refugio,” I whisper as I tuck myself against his chest, letting the words carry everything I’m not ready to say aloud yet. “My refuge.”
His arms close around me, and I listen to the steady beat of his heart beneath my ear as he holds me. I don’t know if he understands what it means for me to call him that. Maybe one day I’ll tell him.
“Stay with me tonight,” he says. “And for breakfast tomorrow.”
I can’t stop smiling. “I was planning on stealing one of your T-shirts anyway.”
His chest shifts beneath my cheek with his laugh. “Good.” He kisses the top of my head. “Because I wasn’t planning on letting you leave.”
I snuggle deeper into his arms, feeling safer and more wanted than I have in a long time.
Then Ryuji crosses my mind.
Guilt tries to follow me here, but I refuse to let it.
Ryuji was important to me, and he always will be.
Losing him doesn’t mean I have to spend the rest of my life afraid to let anyone matter that much again.
Wanting this with Thiago doesn’t erase what I had with him.
Maybe I’m finally starting to understand that my heart can hold both.
“I’ve been meaning to ask,” he says. “How did you get into the ball? Hank, our security guy, takes his job pretty seriously.”
“Hank also has a weakness for women in full-body leather catsuits.” I grin. “Don’t trust Hank.”
He laughs. “I don’t blame him.” Thiago trails his hand along my back. “You looked edible, chama. Every eye in that place found you the moment you walked through those doors.”
I push up onto my elbows and meet his gaze. “And yet, I was only looking for yours.”
His fingers glide to the side of my neck, drawing me to him. “I hated every fucking one of them looking at you like that,” he admits.
I lift an eyebrow. “Possessive much?”
“You have no fucking idea.”
“I think I’m starting to,” I say with a grin.
“I’m serious, Remi.”
“I know.”
“No, I don’t think you do.” He cups my jaw. “You told me what you wanted tonight, so now I’m going to tell you what I want.”
I nod and wait for him to continue.
“I want you in my bed, but I want you everywhere else too. I want the mornings when you show up at my apartment with breakfast and the nights you keep me on the phone talking about whatever pops into that head of yours. I want to watch you drive fast and do what you love, even though it scares the shit out of me, and I want to be the person you come looking for when everything gets too fucking loud.”
I go completely still, but Thiago doesn’t stop.
“I want your smart mouth, your stubbornness, and every complicated part of your life you’re convinced should send me running.” His hand moves into my hair. “I don’t want pieces of you when they’re convenient, Remi. I want all of you.”
I don’t know what to say. I stare at him as I take in everything he’s offering, then lean forward and kiss him.
“Okay,” I whisper against his mouth.
His brow furrows. “Okay?”
I smile. “I’m yours.”
* I’m yours, Thiago… all yours.
