11. Diving In #2

Zaire shrugged. “No. Panties and bra are cool, right? It’s just us. Besides, you’ve got a washer and dryer. C’mon. I’ll meet you out there.” Before she could object, Zaire had turned the corner, heading for the pool.

Nadine ran upstairs to her bedroom and into her closet in search of a swimsuit.

She rifled through the drawer, pulling out tons of swimsuits until she settled on a modest white one piece to don.

Nadine took one look in the mirror and groaned.

What the hell was she thinking? She could see stretch marks, cellulite, and a soft middle.

She could also use a bit of a trim on the bikini line.

Not to mention, this was crossing so many employee/employer lines.

Clearly, she was thinking with her pussy and not her head, because all she could think about was seeing Zaire half naked again.

Nadine grabbed a towel and made her way to the back patio. She had a Junior Olympic size pool that Eddie insisted be heated year-round. Nadine stood at the edge of the pool and just stared.

Zaire’s clothes were in a pile on the side, and all she wore was a thin, very thin, Savage x Fenty bralette set, which cupped her firm, perky tits.

She had areolas so big and nipples so dark that they reminded Nadine of dark chocolate truffles.

Zaire was breathtaking, but a wet Zaire was intoxicating.

“Are you getting in?” asked Zaire as she floated closer to the stairs. “I had no idea this pool was heated. The water feels amazing.”

With trepidation, Nadine made her way down the steps, into the water.

The water did feel amazing, instantly easing the tension in her muscles.

Slowly, she floated toward Zaire, who glided through the water like a mermaid.

With her body wet and glistening, her skin was as gorgeous as dark silk.

It was baffling that this woman was so fucking beautiful and walking around in Nadine’s world.

“You’re right, this is maybe what I needed.” Nadine declared, enjoying the feel of the water on her skin.

“See, I told you. I think I know what you need.”

Nadine’s eyes narrowed on Zaire. “Do you? You barely know me.”

Zaire gave a slight smile. “Like I told you before, I’m a good judge of character. But I’d like to get to know each other.”

Nadine was hesitant, but her resolve faded away when she looked into Zaire’s eyes. “You go first. Tell me about yourself.”

Zaire swam closer. “Let’s see. I was an Army brat, so no one place is home.

Spain., Kuwait. Germany. I’ve lived all over the world.

I speak three languages, French, Spanish and German.

I’m the eldest out of three and the only girl.

I speak to my brothers, but me and my folks aren’t that close.

I went to Rutgers undergrad. I started being a nanny then.

Made some mistakes, got caught up with wrong folks. Came to Atlanta to start over.”

“What does “made some mistakes” mean?”

Zaire seemed to tense up. “Fell in love with someone I shouldn’t have. And paid the price for it.”

“Oh, I see.” Nadine was curious but didn't push further.

“But, I did manage to graduate. And I got into grad school at Emory, so I moved to Atlanta. New York is expensive, but hell, so is Atlanta. I only got partial funding for my degree. So, that’s why I have so many, uhm…professions.”

Nadine understood. “When did you get into pole dancing?”

Zaire swam in a semi-circle. “I actually used to do it for fun, you know, exercise. But the girl I was taking classes from said I was really good and should consider working at the club. This was back in undergrad. In NJ, you only get topless. Since you can get fully naked here, I knew I could make better money in Atlanta. Again, Atlanta and Emory is fucking expensive.”

Nadine finally moved away from the ledge. “I hear you. When I first moved to Atlanta, from a small town in Georgia, I had complete sticker shock. That was over twenty years ago, but still.”

“Twenty years ago? Wow, you’ve been here a minute.”

Nadine winced. “You make me sound so ancient.”

“You aren’t ancient. You’re vintage. Like a fine wine.”

Nadine let out a loud laugh. “That’s a nice way of calling me old. You’re very sweet.”

“No, you’re sweet. Don’t thank me for calling you what you are.”

Zaire swam closer, coming within inches of Nadine. Nadine could feel her heart racing as if it was lodged in her throat as she backed up.

“You keep saying that. You just met me.” Nadine dealt with Fortune 500 CEOs and executives. She never backed down from anything. Yet, she couldn’t look this woman in her eyes.

“You are sweet. I know what you taste like, Cookie. Sweet as fuck. Or did you forget?”

Zaire moved a strand of hair out of Nadine’s face. She seemed to like doing that. Nadine bit her lip, trying not to whimper.

“I thought you said you wouldn’t bring that up. ”And why was she calling her “Cookie?”

“I lied.” Zaire shrugged.

“You were just giving me and my husband a fantasy. It wasn’t real. It was just for a night. One night.”

Zaire smirked. “First off, I’m very real. I also don’t kiss customers. Secondly, respectfully, fuck your husband. I was there for you. I’m still here for you. So it wasn’t just for a night or a fantasy.”

“But you…you don’t know me.”

“You keep saying that, Cookie.” Zaire sighed. “We can change that.”

Nadine knew now what she was feeling, what she was assuming, wasn’t in her head anymore. She’d been out of the dating game for decades, but clearly, this girl was applying pressure. Or shooting her shot, as Alex would say. This was out of bounds. She was her employee, for God’s sake.

“Please,” Nadine begged. “Stop calling me nicknames.”

“I won’t.” Zaire smirked, teasingly darting out her tongue a little. Her pierced tongue. “Cookie fits you.”

“If you can’t respect boundaries, then I’m getting out.

This was…out of line in the first place.

Enjoy the pool.” When Nadine attempted to swim back, Zaire caught her by the leg.

Nadine flailed, screaming and yelling for her to let her go.

But she wouldn’t. Zaire’s hand went up to her waist, and she pushed Nadine back against the ledge of the pool.

“What are you doing!?” Nadine couldn’t move. Zaire pressed the weight of her body against hers. Nadine could feel her hard nipples against her own and it made her traitorous clit come alive.

“You felt something that night at Secrets. That’s why you ran…”

“I…”

“You felt something the other day in the pantry, too. That’s why you’ve been avoiding me. Tell the truth, Cookie.”

“Yes,” Nadine breathed. “I felt wrong then…fuck... this is wrong, now…”
