The Pack's Uncaged Omega

Passed off as Birdie, the estranged sister of Charlie, I arrive barefoot, bruised, and desperate at the Lawson Pack, an elite military unit still wrecked by the loss of their omega mate on a mission a year ago.

The theory that sends me is blunt: the best way past a dead mate is to bite a new one, and Axel, Colt, and Hog have little choice but to take me into the remote mountain cabin they can barely hold together.

I mean to leave once the snow clears, because a broken pack should be easier to escape than a healthy one, even as Axel's bossy care, Colt's smirk and dirty mouth, and Hog, a three-hundred-pound antisocial sniper, make hickory smoke off a winter fire feel too much like home.
