CHAPTER 3
SHADE
Okay, the little baker girl is gorgeous.
Like, I can’t stop looking at her. My damn tail starts trashing around like a head banger in a mosh pit of a rock concert.
I have to reach around my back to grip the appendage, stopping its movements.
Hmm, that’s new. I take in a breath to calm myself, and smell cherries with toasted marshmallows.
This is her smell and it’s even more overwhelming up close.
Makes a strange tingle start at the base of my horns.
Odd. Add that with lovely wide hips, thick thighs I want to squeeze and what looks like a very full chest under that cute t-shirt.
Be still, my black heart. My traitorous cock notices, too, growing with every deep inhale of her scent.
I smile down at her as she glares at me with the most mesmerizing green eyes. She had one hand on her hip and the other still gripped the rolling pin, ready to strike. Her cheeks are flushed and she chews at her lips in unease. I wouldn’t mind chewing on those lips.
My presence definitely has her on edge. I can’t blame her. Imagin coming into your space and seeing a handsome, statuesque demon with a hard on, covered in powdered sugar on your floor. Must’ve been quite a shock. An attractive one, but still. I sigh. The poor thing.
“I, my sweet baker, am a demon. The name is Shade.” I bow.
“De- demon!! Why would a demon be in my bakery?” she asks, tugging her ear, nervously.
“Well. It smelled so good in here, I couldn’t resist trying it all out. I know it’s after hours, and I had every intention of leaving before you found me here,” I try to explain.
“But my powers don’t seem to work in here. I tried to leave, multiple times. Just couldn’t make it out. Would you happen to know why, little baker girl?”
She bristles, my little pet names bothering her. But I can’t seem to stop myself. I wonder what her fantasy is. The deep dark ones she never even told her best friend. Maybe icing licked off her body or a quick romp in a public place. Ugh, all these thoughts are making my mouth water.
Shade, focus.
“I have no clue how you got in here. I definitely didn’t summon you. Isn’t that how it works with demons, Shade?” She hissed.
Oh, I like the way my name sounds coming from her plump pink lips. Has it been that long since I’ve been with someone that this baker gets me so wound up? I let my glamour magic pour out of me, willing it to wrap around my curvy goddess with cotton candy hair. She barely moves.
Hmm. that’s odd.
I know I feel my magic working at least a little bit. I couldn’t get out of here but my influence magic is a bit different. I try again, and other than a bit of color to her cheeks, she just stares at me.
This is a first. How is she immune to me?
Me! A demon that oozes pleasure and desire.
Am I that out of shape? Since the veil fell, I have indulged every tiny want or huge desire I’ve ever had.
It’s been a fun couple of years. Until it wasn’t.
How long have I been running? Eh, that’s not important now.
“Normally, yes. But I’m more of a freelance demon. Spreading joy wherever I go.”
I give her my most mischievous smile. One most humans can’t resist. She just stares at me, unimpressed. I deflate a little.
“Okay golden boy, it is time for you to leave now.” She grabbed me by the arm, pulling me toward the front door. I can’t begin to describe what her touch does to me in this moment.
“Can I have a goodbye kiss first?” I ask with a smirk. She crossed her arms over her chest, trying really hard to look offended. Even so, she can’t hide the blush that spreads over her cheeks. I drop my smile at her indifference and sigh.
“I already told you, sweetness. I already tried to leave. Something keeps stopping me.” I respond through gritted teeth. If the endearment bothered her, she didn’t react. Just kept tugging me along. The baker opened the front door with her free hand and shoves me out of it.
Outside. Through the front door. The fresh air of the early morning hits my face, sending a bit of a shiver through me. The sound of the door slamming shut behind me registers somewhere in my brain, yet I stand there, totally dumbfounded.
“Huh?”
I had tried to get myself out of there so many times before a force pushed me back, eventually knocking me out. What did she do to free me? Ugh, I have to know.
Growling to myself, I curse my demon curiosity, and send myself back into the bakery, popping right in front of the pink haired morsal.
She shrieks when she sees me appear in front of her out of thin air, almost running right into me.
I catch her around the hips, fingers tingling as they lightly squeeze her plush body.
I suppress a sudden moan at the feeling.
She looked so soft all over so getting a feel is definitely doing something to me.
I look at her closer, noticing a soft pink aura I for sure didn’t notice before.
It surrounds her head, moving down her whole body.
And touching her like this means I can feel it.
Ah, I get it now.
“You’re a clever little witch, aren’t you, Sweetness?”
