FBI agent Lane Bauer is hunting a serial killer known as The Poser, a man careful enough to leave no trace except beautifully drawn pictures of his victims.

Bauer challenges him to show himself, and the killer does.

For decades, Ryell has killed while hiding behind his work as an oral surgeon, treating the sketches as his only calling card.
