EPILOGUE

“ Y ou’re telling me you had the option to end him, and YOU DIDN’T DO IT??” The statement is bellowed as items are thrown across the room.

The lesser cowers, trembling in fear. “Master-I” Lucifer flings his hand toward the creature, and it splatters against the stone in a shower of blood and debris.

“Useless creatures.” He says, baring his teeth. His mood soured, he turns to the other three lesser in the room.

“Clean that up.” He growls as he stalks out of the room and down the corridor.

He should go right back to Delyra and take the child.

He should kill it in front of his mother.

He sneers at the prospect. This is beyond that now. This is bigger than just the babe. He has to accept what is now. The prophecy has been put into motion.

There were still two mates to be found, and if Lucifer could get to them before their mates found them, he might be able to put a stop to this whole thing.

His wings snapping out beside him in frustration, he growls, the sound low and deadly in his chest. He refused to be bested by three fallen. He made them, he was the reason they even still existed.

Who were they?

Stalking out towards the veranda of his lair, Lucifer takes to the skies, turning his face upwards. “You haven’t won yet. If you think your little plan ‘B’ is going to work you’ve got another thing coming.”
