Chapter 17 #3
His voice was enough to make my hips move before my brain could register what he said. He gripped my thighs as my hips moved up and down to the same rhythm as his tongue. Every time I tried to close my eyes, he gripped my thighs tighter.
“Zani…” I cried, voice shaking as my stomach flipped from the pleasure that rolled through my body.
His eyes stayed locked on mine. “You taste so good, baby,” he said through muffled moans.
I gripped his hair tighter when he sucked my clit into his mouth. My legs clamped around his head, and he still didn’t stop; he just sucked me deeper, holding me right where he wanted me.
“Baby,” I whined. My body felt like it was drifting away, and he knew it.
My toes curled. I could feel what was coming as that familiar warmth washed over my body. When it came, he held me tighter and let me ride it out until my body went limp. His lips moved over my body until they were on mine, kissing me deep and moaning into my mouth.
You can’t get tired now. It’s his birthday.
I wrapped my legs around his waist, rolling him over on his back. He looked up at me, and I could feel his love for me pouring out. My chest tightened when he reached up to caress my face.
“I love you, Devyn. I swear, baby,” he whispered, still breathing heavily.
“I love you…. So much.”
I raised my hips as he grabbed his dick. Then, I slid down slowly, watching his mouth drop open. His head fell back when I raised my hips again. I took my time watching him as I wound my hips, dragging myself up and down.
“Ya roohi…” he moaned, gripping my waist tighter. “Wallah, I missed you.”
He thrusted his hips up into me, snatching my breath every time he dragged me down. We were in sync, eyes locked on each other, both of us feeling what the other was saying through moans and touches. His thrusts got deeper, and his groans vibrated in his chest right through my body.
“Dev… Anti hayati. You hear me, baby?” he breathed, gripping my hips.
“Yesss!” I cried, clutching his arms, trying to hold myself up.
He sat up, pulled me closer, and dragged me down even further.
His lips smashed into mine, and I gripped his locs, making sure he wouldn’t move from where he was.
And he didn’t. He hit the same spot over and over.
When my body started shaking, his hands slid down to my ass, squeezing, rubbing, rocking me back and forth.
He dug as deep as he could until I came all over him and me.
My head was still spinning when he rolled me over on my back, legs still shaking as he hovered over me. His locs fell over his face and shoulders, candlelight bouncing off his body as he gazed into my eyes.
“When I ask you to be my wife for real… Don’t say no, Dev. I love you.”
I looked up at him, and there was nothing about him or us that would make me say no. Not danger, lies, or losses. I chose him no matter what the arrangement said.
“I won’t… I won’t say no,” I whispered, voice trembling because it was the truth.
Tonight was us really coming back to each other. I felt it in my heart. I felt it in the way he touched me. Scared or not, I wanted Azani. My soul loved him, and I couldn’t deny it.
When I woke up the next morning, I didn’t open my eyes at first. Azani’s warm body was wrapped around mine.
My face was pressed against his neck. We were in each other’s skin, just the way he always wanted us to sleep.
My eyes fluttered open, and I peeked around the room.
The candles were still burning. We didn’t even get up to turn the music off.
The ache in my legs and the tightness in my stomach were a reminder of what happened last night. Azani thought I was a contortionist with the way he bent and folded me all night. I tried to move, and his arms tightened around me.
“Where you going?” he said, voice still raw with sleep.
“The bathroom,” I whispered, rubbing my hand up and down his chest.
His arms finally loosened enough for me to get up, but his eyes popped open, watching me. I marked him up good last night. He looked rested and satisfied; I could tell by the smirk on his face.
“Morning, baby,” he said, sitting up in bed.
“Morning,” I said softly, walking toward the bathroom.
When I came out, he was still sitting up, checking his phone. I got back under the blankets and grabbed my phone from the side table. It was past nine, and neither of us ever slept that long. I had other text messages, but the one that stood out was the one from my doctor’s office.

Azani wrapped his arms around me, pulled me close, and kissed my neck. That did nothing for my nerves as I closed my phone and tossed it back on the nightstand.
“You want some breakfast? I’m starving,” he murmured, rubbing my thigh.
I knew what appointment I missed, and it had me on edge. What if? That was the question, and I wasn’t sure I was ready for the answer.
