“I’m no expert, but it’s time for a conversation about this generation.

I know, I know. You’re going to call me a boomer, but did you see that video of the girl losing it during a breakup in the middle of a public park?

It’s become a pretty popular meme. If you haven’t seen it, it’s linked in the comments, but basically this girl gets dumped in a park and starts wailing.

That’s over-the-top in my opinion, but I want to talk about what she’s saying.

And this girl is probably in her mid to late twenties, okay?

She wails about her mom and—it’s kind of hard to understand what she’s saying, but it’s definitely about middle school and something the guy with her told her in middle school.

The guy, rightfully embarrassed, walks away.

She tries to hold on to him and falls into the fountain nearby, thrashes around like she’s drowning, and then seems to realize, ‘Oh, I’m fine,’ but starts sobbing all over again. It’s…pathetic, really.

So can we talk about the kids today? I mean, imagine worrying about what your mom would think about a breakup when you’re in your twenties and screeching about eighth grade to keep someone with you?

This entire generation needs to toughen up.

C’mon. People have actual problems. What do you think?

Drop it in the comments and don’t forget to follow for more nonexpert opinions. ”

zaddyluvr: Don’t blame age—I’m nineteen and I’d never do that. She’s clearly got issues. Hope he finds someone better and hotter.

helen.appleson79: Why would someone film and share this? I feel bad for this girl and what she must be going through with this much negative attention shining on her.

BoatManOatMan: This chick lost it in public. Everything is fair game.

SweetElizaP: I went to high school with her—she’d just followed that guy around for years. It was kind of pathetic. Better off without him.

JackedH2Oboy: She has nice tits in that wet shirt!

BoatManOatMan: True—the tits are A+

GrandmaGG1: ^^^ This is why we need to be worried about this generation

BoatManOatMan: I’m fifty-seven years old.

helen.appleson79: What happens to these people after they become viral memes?
