Chapter 61
Bianca Ferrucci
Giulia’s car turned onto deserted roads, and an icy feeling ran down my spine. My heart began to beat faster, but I tried to appear calm. I glanced sideways at Giulia, whose eyes were focused on the road as if there were nothing wrong.
I looked in the rearview mirror, and in that moment, the driver’s eyes met mine. He was watching me through the rearview mirror in a disgusting way, as if he were undressing me with his gaze.
I discreetly picked up my phone. With trembling hands, I moved as quickly as I could, pressing the call button and putting the phone on silent. I wanted Tiziano to hear, to know something was wrong.
“We’re almost there, little sister,” she said in a sweet voice. “I have a little surprise for you.”
“What kind of surprise?” My voice trembled, but I forced myself to ask, trying not to show my fear.
Giulia smiled. She leaned forward, almost whispering.
“You like having men at your feet, don’t you? Giovani is dying to show you a few things,” she said, pointing at the driver. “He loves women like you. Women who think they’re in control, but are nothing more than toys, toys for fun.”
I could barely breathe. Panic grew inside me, but the only thing I could do was try to keep the phone as close to me as possible, hoping Tiziano could hear.
“Where are we?” I asked, panic beginning to spread through my body.
With a crooked smile, Giulia turned slightly toward me, her expression cold and filled with disturbing pleasure.
“Remember the path Little Red Riding Hood took to the Big Bad Wolf? I’m taking you there.
The Big Bad Wolf is hungry, and he’s going to devour you.
And I’ll be there, watching everything, waiting...
and then, I’m going to kill you,” she said, her voice macabre, as if she were talking about something trivial.
“If you scream, and scream a lot, I promise I’ll kill you very quickly.
Now, you need to scream and moan like a whore while he’s fucking you. ”
“Giulia, have you lost your mind? I’m pregnant!” The last part came out in a whisper, filled with despair.
She looked at me and let out a low laugh, without a trace of empathy or remorse.
“And who cares?” she said with a psychotic look, as if she were completely disconnected from reality. “Stop the car here. This place is perfect. No one will hear us.”
The car slowed down, and the fear inside me intensified even more. I looked out the window, trying to spot anything familiar around us, but everything was dark, night already falling. My body was frozen.
“What place is this?” I asked, trying to remain calm.
Giulia gave me a strange smile. This entertained her in a sick way.
“It’s dense woods, three blocks from your house. Stop being dramatic. You’ll die close to home,” she said disdainfully, as if I were nothing more than a piece of meat to be discarded.
Giulia was completely out of control, and I knew she would do anything to destroy me. The hatred she felt for me burned in every word. I tried to imagine a way out of that situation, but my body was paralyzed, and my mind, though frantic, couldn’t find an escape.
Then, in a cold voice full of contempt, Giulia said:
“You know, Bianca, all of this started because you don’t deserve what you have.
You married Tiziano, who should have been mine, and even after he found out who you are, he still comes after you.
Even after learning you’re a Bellini, the damned family he hates.
He forgave you. And you, my dear, are still the favorite.
It eats away at me, Bianca. What you have, what you stole from me.
I’ll never forgive you. You took everything from me! ”
The venom in her words wasn’t new to me, but this was even worse. She was broken, and her rage terrified me.
Tiziano Constanzo
I was sitting in the mansion clinic talking to Carlo and Alessandro when my phone vibrated. Bianca’s name appeared on the screen, and an ironic smile curved my lips.
“Finally, she’s calling me,” I said, half-joking to myself. “My positive thoughts must have worked.”
I answered the phone in a casual tone, expecting to hear her soft voice, but what I heard was completely different. The silence before the call sent a shiver down my spine, and before she even spoke, something inside me already knew something was wrong.
The first sound I heard was a muffled moan, followed by labored breathing, as if she were trying to calm herself down.
Then Bianca didn’t say a word directly. Instead, what reached me was the sound of the moving car, the muted noise of something being dragged. I couldn’t understand everything immediately, but what I caught was enough.
“We’re almost there, little sister,” she said with a psychotic laugh. “I have a little surprise for you.”
That was when I heard Alessandro beside me, his tone alarmed.
“What is it?” he asked, noticing the change in my expression.
I clenched my fists, feeling such intense rage that it seemed I could destroy the entire world with my bare hands.
“I’m going to kill that fucking bitch.” My voice came out like a growl.
“Who, Tiziano?” he asked.
“You like having men at your feet, don’t you? Giovani is dying to show you a few things...”
“Giulia just signed a contract for a slow and painful death with the devil.”
I was no longer thinking rationally. I was thinking like a man possessed by rage, like the beast that had long since broken free of its chains.
“Get the car ready. I’m going after her now,” I told the soldier standing by the door. “I’m going to make Giulia pay for every second Bianca was in her hands.”
There would be no mercy. Hell itself would open before anyone who dared lay a hand on Bianca.
“I’m coming with you,” Alessandro said.
“You’re still injured,” I replied as he started following me without giving up.
“So what?” he replied disdainfully. “She’s my sister.”
I got into the car, and he did the same, sitting beside me. The engine roared, and within minutes, we were moving, following the deserted road toward the woods Giulia had mentioned.
My phone was still connected, and I kept the call open, listening closely.
As we drove deeper into the woods, my heart pounded. The sound from the phone suddenly became more muffled, as though it had fallen far away from her, but I heard what I feared most: Bianca’s screams.
“Please, stop!” she screamed. I clenched my fists tightly. “Leave me alone!”
I sped up, tracking Bianca’s phone location on Alessandro’s phone.
When we finally arrived at the place, I saw the man trying to overpower Bianca. He was on top of her, forcing himself on her, and she was fighting with everything she had to break free. Rage consumed me completely.
I didn’t think. I didn’t hesitate. I raised my gun and, with precision, shot the leg of the man on top of Bianca. He screamed in pain and fell to the side.
When Giulia realized we were there, she tried to run, but before she had the chance, one of my soldiers grabbed her brutally, preventing her escape. She looked at me, her gaze filled with rage and fear.
“Tiziano, don’t do this!” she screamed, but her voice was as desperate as it was remorseful. “Please forgive me! I just wanted... I just wanted you to look at me, to love me!”
I ignored her words, moving toward Bianca, who was trembling but now free. I lifted her into my arms, feeling relieved to see she was okay despite everything. I kissed her forehead, my hand gently caressing her belly.
“It’s all right now, Bianca,” I whispered.
“Get her out of here,” I told Alessandro.
Alessandro nodded and began leading Bianca to the car, while the soldiers made sure no one came near. I turned toward the fallen man, and Giulia, who was still trying to pull herself together, stared at me with eyes full of terror.
“Please... Tiziano... forgive me... I just wanted... I just wanted you to want me... I couldn’t accept... what you have with her... forgive me...”
The irony of her words made me laugh, a cold laugh devoid of humor and remorse.
“Forgive you?” I said as I stepped closer. “You tried to destroy everything I love most.”
I looked at the other man, Giulia’s accomplice, who was still crawling and bleeding. They would get what they deserved.
I went to him first. I pressed the gun to his forehead and pulled the trigger. Death was instantaneous, and his lifeless body collapsed onto the forest floor.
Giulia looked at me in horror, her breathing now erratic, her eyes wide.
“Please...” she whispered, panic evident in her voice. “Tiziano, don’t do this... you can’t... you can’t kill me... That bitch deserves to die.”
I had no more words. The hatred and contempt I felt for her were greater than ever. I raised the gun, and as she looked at me in despair, I aimed it directly at her, then lowered it with a smile.
“You wanted Bianca to be raped?” I asked, crouching in front of her, my cold gaze fixed on her terrified eyes. Around us, the men stood motionless, waiting for my orders, but I didn’t take my eyes off Giulia.
“No, Tiziano!” she begged, her voice shaking, her body trembling as she knelt before me. Her words meant nothing to me, nothing that could undo what she had done.
“I had plans to kill you slowly,” I continued, almost whispering.
Every word was like a thread of poison. “But seeing you now, on your knees, begging for your life, has satisfied me. I could hand you over to my men and let them do whatever they wanted with you... but for some reason, I’m going to be merciful. ”
I raised the gun and looked at her one last time. The terror in her eyes was clear, but I didn’t care. I was beyond any pity.
Without another word, I pressed the gun to her head. The sound of the shot echoed through the woods. Giulia’s body fell at once, limp like a puppet with its strings cut. She was nothing.
“Now I finally feel avenged,” I murmured to myself, feeling the rage finally begin to fade.
I turned to my men with the same coldness as always. The job was not yet complete.
“Take both bodies,” I ordered disdainfully. “Throw them to the crocodiles. No bodies means no one will be giving us shit while investigating murders.”
The men nodded silently and followed my orders as I watched indifferently.
