Chapter 25
“What you found out?” Erys asked Tone, while Desi jotted down lyrics in the corner of the room alongside Jamani.
Tone clenched his jaw and smirked slowly, watching her over his shoulder. Erys huffed and stood.
“Bring your nasty ass out here, nigga,” Erys gritted, walking out of the studio and into the hallway. When Tone strolled out, he gave him a look that told him demands were getting ready to fire from his mouth. “She’s talent, not your toy.”
“I’m not playing with that girl,” Tone shot back with a smirk.
“Remember I know you, nigga. I know that fucking smirk. You get off making women stupid behind you. Not that one,” Erys said.
“Why not? ‘Cause she’s Remedy’s friend?” Tone posed. “Nigga, we can go on double dates and do all that lovey couple shit.”
“You don’t want to do lovey couple shit, you want to swing your dick around and fill her head up, so hear me, leave her alone.”
Tone waved him off. “Aight, nigga, I hear you. Actin’ like we weren’t scouting bitches out together.”
“When we were like thirteen, stupid. Grow up. Your dick is going to fuck up some good shit before we get started and I’m not having it.”
“Aight, I heard you,” Tone conceded. “You want to know about these muhfuckas or not?”
Erys shot him a look.
Tone rubbed his hands together and let his gold teeth gleam.
“Two things. That Paul nigga has locked up a whole lot of niggas from the Trae on a bunch of padded charges to stay in office. This string of break-ins is a new ploy to cement his spot in office. And her daddy…hands just as dirty. Over-prescribing pills to those rich bitches in the Lakes and handing them off to the 3Ways to sell.”
“Big Rod know about this?” Erys asked.
“Not that I know of. If the shit is happening under his nose, he ain’t gon’ be too happy when he gets wind,” Tone shared. “Ah, nigga, I see your wheels turning. What the fuck you about to do?”
“Ask for forgiveness before I ask for permission,” Erys said, looking at his Rolex Submariner.
“I got to head across town. Get something recorded tonight. MB is having an open mic listening party this weekend and I need to have them ready. I want raw talent that don’t have your bullshit all over it. Hear me?”
“Heard you, nigga, damn. You bossy as fuck, you know that? Remedy rubbing off on you?” Tone muttered with laughter in his tone.
“She’s not bossy with daddy. You could know that for yourself if you stopped playing with these women,” Erys said with a point, before holding his hand out for a dap. “I’ll hit you up, nigga. Make sure I have some shit to listen to.”
“You forget I put up the money for the studio?” Tone quipped.
Erys nodded. “Yeah, but big daddy owns the building. Don’t fuck around.”
“I’ll see you,” Tone replied to his back. “Tell Rem I said heyyyy.”
Erys stopped midstride to see Tone throw his hands up.
“I know you’ll kill me. I’m playing. I play,” Tone joked.
“Too damn much.”
Erys left the studio and headed across town to pick Remedy up as promised.
Out of the Mercedes Sudan and into a pearl white GLE, he parked on the curb and waited outside for the ruler of his world to appear.
Six-twenty six on the mark, she was walking out the Vibrance warehouse in between Eden and another woman.
The smile on her face had been plastered there.
He could see the smile lines had settled there and it looked good on her.
“Oh, now that’s a man,” the woman unfamiliar to him spoke, looking over Erys and back to Remedy. “No wonder you’re glowing like that. Shit I would too.”
“Careful,” Eden warned. “You’re from Cresent Valley, we don’t play that shit about our men.”
“My bad,” the woman laughed. “Remedy, I see you girl. Does he have a brother?”
“Mm mm,” Remedy buzzed. “He’s one of one.”
“Oh, I know that’s right,” Eden buzzed, snapping her fingers. “See you tomorrow, Remedy.”
Remedy gave the women a wave before her feet damn near tripped over themselves to get to him.
Erys groaned in glee. “Someone had a good day. Nervous like it was the first day of school in a new city. Look at you, smiling from ear to ear. Mm, that shit looks so good on you.”
“Thank you very much. I have someone to thank for that,” she hummed, looking at the SUV then back on him. “Had a lot of time on your hands today?’
He swayed his head. “I had this ordered since your mean ass moved in. I was skeptical about putting you in the Bach.”
Remedy fused her brows together. “You just go around buying strange women cars?”
Erys chuckled. “I already told you, you been mine. Now, was I planning on bribing your mean ass with a car…possibly.”
“Not the man who lays his gun on the dresser every night was going to bribe me?” Remedy asked, tucking her hair behind her ears, fully amused by the way Erys was willing to twist and bend himself to get her and keep her.
“Oh you have no clue. I was going to start sleeping on the floor inside of your room. Shit was about to get real psycho ‘round that house.”
“Something about your crazy just sends shivers up and down my spine, so you might’ve been in luck,” she mused, looking up at him. “Could’ve crawled under the bed and I probably would’ve happily cussed you out all night.”
“I’ll thank Pops. He had you nice and conditioned with his crazy, mine seemed like a walk in the park,” Erys joked.
Remedy smirked, walking around the front of the car to the driver’s side.
So much she wanted to say but she wouldn’t and he knew why.
Eventually, he’d do something about it. Until then, he was going to show her what his mouth wouldn’t say.
He climbed into the passenger side after closing her door and looked at her.
Hair blown out, full face of makeup, and an oversized sweatshirt.
The most beautiful thing she wore was confidence and happiness.
“I promised you dinner,” Erys said, as she pulled off.
“I know and you’re going to eat,” she replied with a smirk. “I am too.”
“What you sayin’ to me, Rem?” Erys asked with an arrogant grin.
“Order something because you just might be getting fucked tonight,” she quipped.
Erys laughed. “What did I just unlock?”
“You’ll find out.”
Ernie was knocked out after a full day with his aide. As the aide gave them the run down, they swayed in sexual anxiousness. For Erys, being inside of her, wrapped around, or whatever she offered was healing. If he could effectively live inside of her, he would.
“I’ll bring more bacon over for him in the morning…oh and he got a little confused this afternoon. Called me Cherie and asked for a strawberry cake,” she added as they escorted her to the door. “Do you know how to make that? I don’t mind learning.”
Erys nodded. “Yeah, yeah. We’ll go over that tomorrow.”
Before she said anything else, he closed and secured the door and hiked Remedy over his shoulder.
“Erys,” she yelped and tried to quiet her giggle as he sprinted up the stairs with her.
“You said you were going to do what to me?” he asked, closing the door. Too distracted by her to lock it.
Remedy looked up at him from the spot on the bed he deposited her into and nipped her lip. Erys pulled off his shirt and beamed down at her. She repositioned herself to her knees and smirked.
“I said you were getting fucked tonight,” she replied, hooking her fingers at the top of his pants before pushing him back.
Remedy placed herself in front of him on her tip toes.
Only tall enough to kiss his collar bone without his assistance.
Erys cupped her face, craned his neck to kiss her.
Sloppy, lip smacking, tongue wrestling, ass grabbing, Remedy raked her manicured-nails over his abs and into his pants.
Kissing and licking down his torso, Remedy lowered herself to her knees, freeing him in the same motion.
She groaned at the sight of his length before kissing then licking the tip.
Erys grabbed her hair, watching her do it again and again until she took him into her mouth inch by inch.
Slurping, sucking, moaning; her palms pressed his thighs.
“Open up those eyes for me, baby,” he growled, thrusting in and out of her cheeks.
Remedy’s eyes floated up to his, taking in every flex of his muscles.
“You’re so fuckin’ beautiful,” he groaned, toes curling against the floor, grip tightening and his head falling backward. “So beautiful. Look at you, making that shit disappear. Get up.”
Remedy drank more of him before releasing his dick from her mouth. “I wasn’t done thanking you.”
“I want that juice on my face. That’s the thanks I need,” he groaned again, smacking her ass through the leggings before pulling them off. The sweatshirt was next.
When he had her completely naked for his viewing pleasure, he laid down. “Give me my strawberry.”
Remedy bit her lip and did what was asked of her, moaning on contact, she rode his face. Erys had her right where he wanted her, free and fully open for him. He watched her glide herself from his face down his torso, lifting up to roll her hips down on his dick.
Erys gripped her hips, bouncing her up and down. He couldn’t get a word out of his mouth. Too lost in the aura of her.
“Fuck, Rem,” he breathed. “You trying to snatch my fuckin’ soul?”
She moaned and bit a smile. “Maybe.”
“Fuckin’ playing like I won’t let it happen,” he growled, flipping her over and grinding into her. “This shit gon’ have me going to war behind you.”
Remedy threw her leg over his shoulder, embracing the passion in every stroke. Almost at her peak before Ernie’s voice clashed against the sounds of their euphoria.
“Y’all fuckin’?”
Remedy stopped mid moan, eyes popping open and croaked, “n-no.”
Erys groaned, halting himself mid-stroke. “Yes! What you want?”
Instantly irritated, he looked toward the door where Ernie had his hands out and one eye closed. “Someone is trying to break in our shit.”
“What?” Erys fussed, still deep inside of Remedy. The pulse of her pussy still drumming around him. “Fuck you talkin’ about? I’m busy. If this is some bullshit-”
“Nigga, how were you in someone’s military? You asking too many fuckin’ questions. Remedy, untangle yourself and get my guns. Them niggas back to take my shit,” Ernie huffed. “Asking me all this shit and these muhfuckas breaking into our shit. Get out the pussy and come the fuck on!”
Remedy pulled the blanket over her body as Erys pulled himself from her depths, grabbing his pants and gun. By the time he made it to the bedroom door, his pants were on and the gun was ready to fire off.
“Stay up here with Rem,” he ordered, easing down the stairs, gun drawn.
“I’ll keep her warm,” Ernie muttered, peeping into the room.
“Ernie, this is not the time to play,” Remedy replied, getting out of the bed wrapped in sheets and waddling to the bathroom.
Erys reached the bottom of the stairs and saw the masked man through the smoked glass working to get into the house. Hearing the latch pop, he positioned his gun to point at the intruder’s temple. Patiently, he watched the skinny figure take two steps in and close the door behind him.
“One more step, I’m blowing your brains out, muhfucka,” Erys gritted, spotting the bandana wrapped around his wrist. “Do you know who the fuck I am, gang?”
The masked man’s eyes darted to Erys, taking in the crazy of his eyes peering back. Erys had a reputation in Trae Way that preceded him. A gang legend known for being out of his mind.
“C-crazy Trae?” the voice of the intruder sounded young. His hands popped up. “They didn’t tell me this was your spot. I ain’t mean no harm.”
“Too fuckin’ late,” Erys spoke, the gun pressed against his temple. “Baby! Bring me a shirt and some shoes. And my truck keys.”
Remedy hurried down the stairs in his shirt and shorts with another clip in her hand along with the items he asked for. Keys and clip in his pocket, shirt in his hand, shoes at his feet, she kissed his cheek and went back up the stairs.
“You move, I’ll kill you.” Erys was direct and menacing. He donned his shirt, slipped his feet into the shoes and then yanked the boy up by his collar. He dragged him out the house and to the truck he hadn’t backed into the garage. He opened up the back door and flung him in like a ragdoll.
It wasn’t until he sped out the gate and slammed on the brakes that he addressed the misguided gang member.
“Take that bullshit off your face. Breaking into people’s house like a fucking coward. Who sent you?” Erys asked, anger falling from every word. He could have unmasked him in the house but he didn’t want to expose either Ernie or Remedy to any additional trauma.
When the mask came off, Erys was face to face with a boy no older than sixteen.
“No one sent me. I heard you had hella cars and money. I didn’t know it was you, C3,” the boy spoke. “We don’t have nothing but respect for you.”
“Big Rod approving break-ins these day or you misguided niggas just do what the fuck you want?” Erys posed, speeding off down the street again.
“The nigga said he was gonna double whatever I took off you,” the young man stammered.
“Who the fuck is the nigga?”
“The DA nigga. He be all on the TV and shit. Paul. Paul Chisom.”
“Sayless.”
