Chapter Two. #2
It was only right that a submissive should avenge the submissives Clara had basically tortured.
Priest
I crossed into Maine and headed for Camden.
It had been three months of tracking across the country, but I finally had a positive lead: Brielle was local.
I knew why. Brielle was aware I was a nomad for the Royal Bastards MC–Camden.
She’d try to reach me here. A brief call with Warden, the president, had confirmed that Brielle wasn’t there, but he’d ordered me to come in.
I’d wanted to argue, but Warden wasn’t standing for it.
Resentment flooded my veins, but I obeyed.
I’d tracked every lead I had on her, hacking into systems and finding her.
Brielle had slowly made her way across the country, determined to find me.
I’d even figured out why she’d not called; I bet she’d forgotten my number.
I intended to drum that into Brielle’s head when I found her. In future, I’d only be a call away.
Rain began falling as I neared Camden and passed through towards the compound. The prospect at the gate was new to me, and he contacted someone.
I nodded even though I was out in the soaking rain. He was diligent, and that was good. Once Warden confirmed who I was, he let me through, and I headed for the clubhouse. It was far too dark to see if anything had changed. I’d kept loosely up to date with them.
I parked and headed inside.
“Priest!” Warden greeted me, and I nodded. Behind him, someone began to laugh.
“That’s gonna get confusing,” Bogeyman said, appearing and clapping me on the shoulder.
“What is?” I asked.
“The prospect on the gate is also called Priest.”
“Kid needs to alter his name. I had it first,” I replied.
“His actual surname is Priest. We let him keep it, but yeah, it’s gotta change,” Bogeyman agreed.
“We’ve not got Brielle, but we’ve news. Come with me,” Warden said and nodded towards his office.
Undertaker threw me a towel. I caught it gratefully, and two unfamiliar faces caught my attention as they rose and followed.
“Who are they?”
“Seeker and Craft. You might recognise them as Cécile and Etienne from Louisiana,” Warden replied.
“Yeah, I’ve heard of them,” I said as Undertaker placed a glass of whiskey in front of me. “You got powers?”
Seeker nodded. “You know I have. Craft is my anchor. I know who you’re seeking. Brielle was coming here. But she’s going to pass through New Hampshire first.”
“Brielle’s alive?” Hope welled up in me.
“Yes, and looking for you. But you’ll find her before she reaches here. You need to go to the RHMC in Portsmouth; they’ll lead you to Brielle,” Seeker said.
I got to my feet.
“Not tonight,” Warden stated. “You can rest for one night. Come on, brother, let’s get you some food and a drink.”
I wanted to leave, but Seeker shook her head. “If you go this evening, you’ll not see Brielle again.”
That did it. I walked out and planted my ass on a barstool. “Beer,” I ordered as Warden joined me. Being surrounded by brothers felt good.
“Tell me what you did to those assholes who sold her,” Warden said as he tapped the counter.
I grinned; oh, they’d paid. Vengeance was a bitch, and I owned her.
The woman stared at me. “I don’t have your sister.”
“Cousin,” I corrected.
“Still don’t have her. You say Warden sent you here? You’re not one of his.” Sapphire relaxed back in her chair.
I tapped my patch, and her eyes flicked briefly to it before dismissing it.
“Warden said you could help me.”
Sapphire leaned forward. “It is courtesy that if Warden wants me to help a brother, he calls me. He hasn’t, and I don’t tolerate disrespect. If you want our assistance, nomad, have your president show me respect.”
“I’m looking for a fifteen-year-old girl—sixteen next month,” I growled. “Courtesy be damned.”
“If I showed up at RBMC and did the same, what would Warden do? I may have a pussy, but don’t mistake me for one.” Sapphire rose. “There’s no kid here; I’ll tell you that much.”
“You won’t help,” I snarled.
“We will when Warden reaches out, as he should.” Sapphire walked out the door and left me fuckin’ hanging. What a total bitch. I punched in Warden’s number and waited.
“What’s up?” he asked as I headed to my bike.
I explained, barely holding on to my temper.
“Fuck, Sapphire’s right. She’s touchy because she thinks I disrespected her a while back, and this compounds the problem. I should have thought,” Warden replied.
“If anything happens to Brielle—”
“Nothing will.” Movement caught my attention, and Sapphire walked out and staggered. Was she ill? Her hands clasped her head, and moments later several women rushed out. Sapphire’s eyes rolled back, and she began speaking.
“Did you forget to tell me something?” I demanded.
“Like?”
“They’re like you?”
“Aye, but they’re not all talented,” Warden replied.
“Neither are we. I thought we’d absorbed the special talents.”
“Sapphire created her own group and joined the RHMC. Some of them were together before joining the RHMC, and they wouldn’t split up. Duchess, the National President, noted that they’d not follow anyone but Sapphire. Duchess hated letting them go.”
“I see. Well, reach out and inform the bitchy one: I’m genuine,” I said.
“On it. Just don’t stir up trouble; we’ve got Dynamo and Vogue. They have Dagger and Blade, and you do not want to cross that pair,” Warden warned.
“Noted. Thanks, Prez.” I hung up and walked out. I’d be back, sooner rather than later.
Nun
“How did it go?” Sparrow asked, falling into step with me as we headed into the clubhouse.
“The bitch learned that when someone uses a safe word, you stop. Of course, her bank account got emptied because of Cyber. Clara’s husband divorcing her hurt just as much.
Belladonna put a lock on her mind so that she can’t talk to anyone about her punishment, but she’s always going to remember it. ”
“Nice. And the victim?”
“Rhines will be discharged tomorrow. Stitch has visited several times and helped heal him. He received ten million in compensation, and Belladonna eased most of the mental trauma. Rhines also watched the video and stated Clara got what she deserved.”
“He’s not coming after us?”
“No. He’s satisfied with what we did. Rhines will never remember Stitch healing him, and she’s removed most of his scars. If she hadn’t, he’d be a patchwork quilt. That cunt did a right job on him.”
“The previous victims?”
“They appreciated our efforts, and they’ve free membership for two years. And we offered to vet their dommes. They’ve taken us up on the offer.”
“Good. And you and Blue?”
“None of your business, Sparrow. We’ve got a party tomorrow night; you better be ready. I plan to make some points. What’s Sapphire doing with the cop?”
Usually Wylde attended, but not tomorrow. We planned to beat some asses, male and female, and Wylde couldn’t be involved.
“Going to play pool with his pig buddies,” Sparrow replied.
“Good. Because I’ve a new pair of knuckle dusters that need breaking in.” And I fully intended to.
