7. The Mirror and the Giggle

The Mirror and the Giggle

Istood frozen in the center of the private suite, balanced precariously on the strappy black heels.

The emerald satin dress clung to my body like a second skin, cool and slippery against every inch of my freshly waxed flesh.

The long chestnut curls of the wig brushed my bare shoulders and tickled the glossy rose-pink lips I couldn’t stop noticing.

Every small shift sent the flared skirt whispering against my smooth thighs, reminding me how short it was, how exposed I felt.

The three-way mirror surrounded me completely. No matter which way I turned, Tina stared back.

She was breathtaking.

Long, glossy chestnut curls framed a face that was unmistakably feminine—dramatic lashes fluttering with every nervous blink, cheeks glowing with soft blush, and full, shiny rose-pink lips parted in stunned silence.

The dress hugged a waist that looked smaller than mine had any right to be, then flared over hips the heels had forced into a gentle, feminine curve.

My smooth, hairless legs looked impossibly long and elegant in the four-inch stilettos, the black straps contrasting beautifully with my glowing skin.

I looked like a girl. A very pretty, very sexy girl.

My stomach twisted with humiliation so intense it made my knees buckle. I grabbed the back of the styling chair to steady myself.

“Oh my god,” I whispered, the voice coming out softer and higher than I expected. The lipstick made my lips feel even more sensitive when they moved.

Behind me, the four women stood in a loose semicircle, watching with open, delighted expressions.

Madame Victoria’s eyes shone with quiet pride. Chloe had both hands pressed to her cheeks. Lily’s smile was wide and sparkling. Sophia let out a happy little sigh.

Then the giggling started.

It began with Lily—a soft, affectionate laugh that bubbled up as she tilted her head, studying me from every angle. “Look at her… just look at her.”

Chloe joined in, her laughter bright and musical. “She’s so feminine. Those legs in the heels… and the way the dress moves when she breathes. Perfect.”

Sophia covered her mouth, but her eyes crinkled with pure joy. “The curls are bouncing so prettily. And those lips—oh, Tina, you look like you were born for satin.”

The giggles multiplied, surrounding me like warm, silky waves. They weren’t mocking. There was no cruelty in the sound. It was genuine delight, the kind of laughter women share when they see something truly beautiful and can’t contain their happiness.

Madame Victoria stepped closer, her velvet voice cutting through the soft laughter. “Turn for us again, darling. Slowly. Let us admire our work.”

My cheeks burned hotter than they had during the waxing or the makeup.

I wanted to refuse, to tear the dress off and demand they let me leave.

Instead, my body obeyed before my mind could catch up.

The heels forced me into a careful, mincing turn.

The satin skirt flared outward, brushing my thighs.

The chestnut curls swung heavily, one thick lock falling across my glossy lips.

I brushed it away with a delicate motion that only made the women giggle louder.

“See how naturally she moves?” Lily said between laughs. “Those hips… the sway is just right.”

Chloe nodded enthusiastically. “And the way she touches her hair—so instinctively feminine. She’s a natural.”

I stopped facing the mirror again. Tina stared back at me, lashes fluttering, rose-pink lips trembling, cheeks flushed deep crimson beneath the blush.

The girl in the reflection looked embarrassed, exposed, and heartbreakingly pretty all at once.

The combination made something deep inside me throb with shameful heat.

The front of the satin dress felt tighter than it should have.

Madame Victoria placed her hands lightly on my satin-covered waist from behind, steadying me.

Her touch was warm through the thin fabric.

“Look at her, girls. Really look. So elegant. So beautiful. Those long lashes, that perfect pout, the way the dress hugs every new curve… She was always our Tina. She just needed us to bring her out.”

The praise washed over me like warm honey. Each compliment made the reluctance inside me twist tighter, but it also fed the growing, intoxicating warmth low in my belly. I felt exposed, humiliated, and yet… perfectly, dangerously right.

Lily stepped forward and gently fluffed one of my curls. “You’re stunning, Tina. Truly. I can’t stop staring.”

Sophia reached out and adjusted the hem of the dress, her fingers brushing my smooth thigh. “So soft everywhere. The waxing made such a difference. Feel how the satin just glides?”

I shivered at the touch. A tiny, involuntary sound escaped my glossy lips—half whimper, half sigh.

Chloe clapped her hands once, delighted. “Did you hear that little sound? Oh, she’s getting all shy and excited. Look at her blush!”

The giggles rose again, warmer this time, wrapping around me like an embrace. They circled closer, touching my hair, smoothing the dress, admiring the heels, each gentle contact sending sparks across my hypersensitive skin.

Madame Victoria turned me slightly so I faced the mirror head-on once more.

She rested her chin lightly on my shoulder, her voice a intimate murmur against my ear.

“See, darling? This is what you were always meant to look like. Feminine. Beautiful. Desired. Feel how right it feels? The satin against your smooth body, the weight of those pretty curls, the way the heels make you stand so elegantly… This isn’t a costume. This is you.”

I stared at Tina in the mirror. My reflection blinked back with those long lashes, the glossy lips parting on a shaky breath.

The dress shimmered with every trembling inhale.

My legs looked long and sexy in the black heels.

The girl in the glass looked like she belonged in this luxurious salon, like she had been waiting quietly inside me all along.

The reluctance was still there—sharp, desperate, screaming that this was wrong, that I was a man, that I needed to stop this now.

But it was drowning.

Drowning under waves of luxurious sensation, under their delighted giggles, under the deep, throbbing arousal that made the satin dress feel tighter with every passing second.

Tears of overwhelmed confusion pricked at the corners of my eyes, threatening to ruin the perfect makeup. I blinked rapidly, the long lashes fluttering dramatically.

Lily noticed and cooed softly. “Don’t cry, pretty girl. You’re too beautiful to cry. This is a happy moment.”

Madame Victoria pressed a soft kiss to my temple, right above one fluttering lash. “You’re doing so well, Tina. So brave. So perfect for us.”

The giggles faded into warm, affectionate murmurs as they continued to admire me—touching, adjusting, praising. I stood there in the emerald satin and heels, trembling, flushed, and heartbreakingly feminine.

And for the first time since walking through the salon door, the word “no” felt impossibly far away.

I was Tina now.

At least for tonight.

And some treacherous, secret part of me was beginning to love it.
