8. Chapter 8 #2

Heath hummed, his thumbs brushing slow circles over her skin. “That’s not the part I want to hear.”

Maddie whimpered, trying to press her legs together, trying to hold back, but Heath wouldn’t let her.

He nudged her open again, his grip firm, controlling. “Tell me, Speedy,” he coaxed, his voice all quiet command.

She sucked in a shaky breath.

“I thought about you…” she swallowed, her face burning. “Without your shirt. Tool belt low on your hips. Your hands on the walls.”

A dark, satisfied chuckle rumbled from his chest. “Go on.”

Her entire body burned beneath his words, beneath his touch, humiliation and desire tangling into something unbearable.

“I thought about… how strong you looked,” she admitted, voice barely above a whisper.

He rewarded her, his lips dragging lower, over her skin, teeth grazing just enough to make her shudder.

“And?” Heath pressed, his hands coaxing, never letting her go.

Maddie bit her lip. “I thought about you walking in on me.”

Heath stilled.

His breath hitched—just for a second.

Then—he groaned, deep and low, his grip tightening almost painfully.

“Goddamn, Maddie.”

Her thighs trembled as he dragged his hands up the insides of them, teasing, testing, knowing exactly how close she was to falling apart.

“And?” he growled, his voice wrecked, demanding.

She gasped, her whole body bowing under his control, under his unrelenting pace.

“I thought about you… watching me,” she finally whispered.

Heath growled, his lips biting into the soft curve of her hip, his hands spreading her wide for him.

“And what,” he muttered, his mouth pressing lower, hotter, hungrier, “exactly—did you want me to do when I saw you?”

Maddie’s breath hitched—then shattered.

And before she could answer—

Heath positioned himself behind her. A wall of muscle, power, control.

Maddie’s breath came fast, ragged, her fingers curling into the sheets, her whole body burning from what he had just done to her—what he had coaxed from her, demanded from her. Made her say.

And now?

Now he was going to show her exactly how wrong she’d been about herself.

His hands traced up her spine, slow, deliberate, sending sparks over every inch of her. He settled them firmly on her hips, gripping, adjusting, positioning her exactly where he wanted.

She swallowed hard, her mind spinning, still trying to catch up.

“I want you to feel every second of this,” Heath muttered, his breath warm against her shoulder as he leaned down, pressing his chest to her back.

A shiver ran down her spine.

She had never felt like this.

Had never felt so wanted, so taken, so utterly consumed.

His fingers flexed against her skin, tightening as he guided her back into him, fitting their bodies together with deliberate, agonizing slowness. Maddie gasped, her head falling forward, her breath breaking into a whimper.

Heath groaned, his grip bruising now, his control razor-thin.

“You’re not frigid,” he muttered against the back of her neck, his voice dark, full of something rough-edged and dangerous. “You were just with the wrong man.”

Maddie felt it everywhere.

The way he took her, claimed her, moved with her, forced her to feel.

The way heat spread through her limbs, a slow, curling burn.

The way she arched into him instinctively, meeting his rhythm, giving herself over to the pleasure instead of resisting it.

This was what she had been missing.

This was what she had thought wasn’t for her.

Heath wasn’t letting her hide from it.

He moved faster, deeper, demanding more, pulling her closer every time she tried to retreat into her head.

“You feel that?” he growled, his fingers digging into her hips. “Come for me.”

She bit her lip, shaking, overwhelmed.

He tangled a hand in her hair, tilting her head back, forcing her to listen, to answer.

“I—I’m coming,” she gasped.

“Now.” His voice was a growl, a command. “Now, slut.”

She swallowed, breath hitching, her whole body trembling under the weight of his control.

“Tell me what we’ve learned today.”

“I’m not frigid,” she whispered.

Heath groaned deep in his chest, his rhythm stuttering, roughening, pushing her even higher. “No, you’re fucking not.”

And he made sure she never believed that lie again. Because he had never felt anything like this. Never felt so taken, so possessed, so completely claimed.

Heath’s hands were unyielding, gripping her hips like he couldn’t get her close enough, like he needed her to feel every inch of what he was giving her. Every brutal, relentless stroke.

Her breath hitched. Her fingers clenched into the sheets. The intensity, the sheer force of him, sent heat licking up her spine.

She’d never thought of herself as a woman who could be handled like this.

But Heath? He handled her like he already knew every secret part of her. Like he knew exactly where she would break and exactly how to put her back together again.

“That’s it,” he groaned, voice raw, wrecked, his fingers tightening at her waist as he drove into her deeper, faster, harder. “This goddamn pussy…”

She couldn’t even speak. Could barely breathe.

She nodded, her whole body shaking, her nerves raw, every single touch setting her on fire.

Heath leaned over her, one hand gripping her hip, the other sliding up her spine, wrapping around the back of her neck.

He tugged her up, arching her against his chest, forcing her to feel everything.

“Slut.” His breath was hot against her ear, his teeth scraping her skin. “Say what I already know.”

Maddie gasped, her body melting, bowing into him, giving up whatever last piece of herself she had been trying to protect.

“I—” Her voice broke on a moan, her body clenching around him, overwhelmed.

His fingers flexed around her throat, not tight, just enough to hold her still. She swallowed hard, lost in the overwhelming, impossible sensation of being completely, utterly his.

“I’m your slut,” she whispered.

He groaned, his pace turning brutal, wrecking her, breaking her apart with every hard, precise thrust.

Her body gave out, the heat in her belly snapping like a cord pulled too tight. The pleasure hit her so hard she couldn’t stop the sob that tore from her throat, the raw, uninhibited sound of a woman who had never felt truly taken care of until this moment.

Heath held her through it.

His arms locked around her, his movements slowing as he let her ride it out, his mouth pressing soft, grounding kisses along her shoulder, her neck, her jaw.

She was still trembling, her body wrecked, oversensitive, burning everywhere he had touched her. But Heath wasn’t done.

Before she could catch her breath, his hands were on her again—firm, unyielding, claiming. He gripped her waist, lifted her like she weighed nothing, and flipped her onto her back.

Maddie barely had time to react before he was over her, caging her in, his body all heat and muscle, his weight pressing her into the mattress.

Her breath caught.

Because he was looking at her.

Really looking at her.

The fire in his eyes hadn’t dimmed, but there was something else beneath it now. Something softer.

“You’re mine,” he murmured, brushing the backs of his fingers down her cheek, his touch at odds with the raw, possessive edge in his voice. “Every fucking inch of you.”

Maddie’s throat closed, her chest tightening. No one had ever looked at her like this. No one had ever made her feel like this.

Like she was everything.

She swallowed, feeling suddenly exposed in a way that had nothing to do with being naked beneath him.

Heath must have seen it—her hesitation, her nerves creeping back in—because his lips were on hers in an instant, kissing her slow, deep, unrushed.

Like he had all the time in the world.

Like he was going to make her feel this, let it settle into her bones, into her soul, so she never forgot.

Maddie moaned against his mouth, her arms winding around his neck, her legs falling open as she gave herself to him all over again.

And this time, he took her how he wanted.

He moved slow at first, making her feel every single inch of him, making her gasp as he pressed in deep, stretching her open, owning her completely.

“Look at me,” he murmured, his forehead pressing to hers as he rolled his hips, finding a rhythm that had her falling apart all over again.

She did. She met his gaze, unable to look away.

And for the first time in her life, she wasn’t ashamed.

She wasn’t hiding.

She was just Maddie.

Just a woman being worshiped and ruined at the same time.

Heath groaned, his pace turning urgent, desperate, like he was barely holding on.

“Fuck, Maddie,” he muttered, his grip bruising on her hips as he buried himself deeper, chasing his own edge now. “Let’s get you pregnant.”

She wrapped her legs around him, pulling him in, pulling him closer, wanting to keep him right there.

“Give it to me,” she whispered, her fingers dragging down his back, her nails biting into muscle.

He swore, his whole body going tense, his rhythm faltering, his control finally snapping.

And then—

He shattered.

He gasped her name, his body jerking against hers, his release hitting him like a violent storm, his weight pressing her into the mattress, grounding her, consuming her.

Maddie held onto him, breathless, wrecked, undone.

And she never wanted to let go.
