Chapter 7
Vincent da Silva
Since it had been nearly a full twenty-four hours since Dash left this room, I was a little surprised when I spotted him on the camera headed back upstairs after only forty-five minutes.
My muscles tensing, I cursed under my breath and snatched my cigarettes, lighting one right as the door creaked open.
I refused to turn and look his way, but I could sense him standing there, staring. After nearly thirty seconds, he finally shut the door, but I didn’t hear any footsteps on the carpet.
“Ahem. Everything okay out there?”
Skimming the screens, I nodded stiffly. “Yup. No sign of nothing.”
“Ahem. Good, good. Um. Well, you can go on and do whatever. I got this.”
I rolled my eyes and slouched lower, taking a drag. “Forget it, Dash—”
“It’s okay, really—”
“Look.” I threw my head back to blink at the ceiling, shrugging my hands out. “We cannot afford even the tiniest of mistakes. Now you’ve been in here by yourself for over a day with very little food. I got this. Just…take a nap, or something.”
When he still didn’t move, I sat up and swirled the chair to face him. His hands were in the pockets of his sweats, his weight to one leg. His chin bowed, he was staring at the floor. For a moment, I studied him, amazed I was suddenly attracted to him after all these years.
Maybe there was something out there other than William Christopher Wagner.
My brows lifted at that inner monologue.
Of course, I always knew there was, but not for me.
Could there be someone else for me? Obviously, it wouldn’t be Dash, a homophobic man who had been my friend for nearly fifteen years, but the mere fact I was even entertaining the notion of something, someone, outside of what I’d committed myself to when I was fifteen was encouraging.
Where I once thought I’d never be happy without Billy and never get over him if I ever lost him, knowing my heart was willing to find excitement in something new was promising. It was a relief, actually.
Coughing, I averted my gaze to clear my thoughts. “If what happened last night hadn’t happened, would you be standing there, nervous being around me?”
His arms crossed, uncrossed, and then crossed again, his palms cupping his elbows. “I mean, no,” he grumbled.
“Then what’s the deal? I’m still me and you’re still you. Ain’t nothing that happened in this room going nowhere outside here,” I stated, pointing to the floor. “It happened, it won’t happen again, let’s move on. We really got more important things to worry about, anyhow.”
His chest puffed out with a deep breath, his sight flitting to me through his lashes.
“Look, Dash, my head is all fucked up right now because of Jackyl. I am really not okay that we’re about to lose him.” My heart sinking and my stomach twisting, I muttered, “I cannot lose you, too.”
He huffed and deflated, raking his hand through his hair. “You ain’t losing nothing, brother.”
“Then let this go and let’s move on,” I snapped, spinning to face the monitors again.
At last, he moved, crossing the floor to the bed.
A moment later, the springs creaked under his weight as he moved about to get comfortable.
Since the lights were off but the bathroom was on, there was a glare in a few of the screens, so I adjusted my sight to watch his reflection.
He was lying on his stomach, his arms crossed under a pillow, facing me.
Again, my sight trailed over his figure, lingering on the roundness of his ass.
Recalling how smooth his skin had been when I tucked my hand into his pants, my blood thickened with lust and my pulse raced.
His cock was a little thick but average in length, the perfect size to fill me completely.
The way our bodies lined up like he was designed specifically to fit against me, his husky moans so deep, his chest vibrating against mine was intoxicating.
Not for the first time since last night, I couldn’t help but wonder what he tasted like. His precum had been delicious.
Christ, what the hell was it with these unexpected, intrusive thoughts? Out of all the men in the world, why Dario “Dash” Mangiacavallo, why now?
I cleared my throat again and concentrated on the screens, skimming over the property.
It didn’t matter, nothing would happen because Dash didn’t like gay people.
It was one reason I’d always kept my secrets from the Serpents.
Einstein was bi, but never fucked a man without a woman involved, so no one ever said anything.
I had never had sex with a woman, I’d never had sex with anyone but Billy. Never wanted to, until now.
My focus shifted to see his reflection. He was sitting up on his elbows, staring at me.
My heart skipping a beat, I coughed and took a drag before smashing out the cigarette. Exhaling through my nose, I rolled my shoulders and stared at the screen directly in front of me.
“You gay, Vin?”
Everything inside plummeted and my eyelids closed with a silent curse. Here we go. Heaving an exasperated sigh, I swung the chair around to face him. “Why would you ask me that?”
He was frowning, his fingers splaying out. “I just now realized I ain’t never seen you with a chick before.”
“So, that makes me gay?”
He snorted and jostled about to sit up on his knees so he could sink to his haunches. “I mean, look at everyone else, we all been seen with chicks. You haven’t.”
“So, I don’t date. Big deal.”
He crawled to the edge of the mattress and stood, cautiously approaching with his arms folded. “Just you and me, man. We ain’t never had lies between us.”
I clucked my teeth, twisted my waist, and snatched another cigarette, quickly lighting it.
My skin crawling, dread was weighting my stomach, making me sick.
Looked like I was about to lose that last friend I had.
Fuck Jackyl! If he hadn’t started all this shit, none of this would be happening.
I’d still have him, and Dash, and my sister wouldn’t be mentally and emotionally scarred for life.
“Vin—”
“What, Dash?” I shouted, shooting a glare his way. “What the fuck you wanna know?”
He paled, the whites showing around his irises. His Adam’s apple bobbing with a loud gulp, he was breathing quicker. “Holy shit, you’re a fag.”
Instant rage shot through my system, bounding me to my feet in the blink of an eye.
With my free hand, I grabbed his throat tightly.
Growling from the pit of my stomach, I spun him around and slammed him into the window, rattling the wooden blinds.
“Don’t you fucking call me that, motherfucker.
Got it?” I bellowed, ringing my own ears.
Blanched, eyes bulging, he grimaced at the resonation of my voice. “Holy shit.”
Seeing him in shades of red, I was panting, sweat beading my forehead. “Don’t you ever use that word again. Who the fuck do you think you are?”
Gasping for a full breath, his sight was bouncing back and forth between my eyes, his own skin sheening with perspiration. “I…I-I-I’m s-s-sorry, man. Oh, shit, I’m sorry.”
I leaned closely, so our noses were touching, my voice low and dripping with rage. “Have I ever been anything but solid with you? Huh?” I blasted.
He flinched and closed his eyelids, trying to shake his head against my hold. “N-No.”
“Who the fuck went to jail for you, motherfucker? Who?”
He gulped again, tipping his head back to peer down the length of his nose. Very quietly, his gravelly tone replied, “You.”
I leaned even closer, now speaking barely above a whisper. “And have I ever given you reason not to trust me?”
His brows arching, he again attempted to shake his head. “No,” he breathed.
I stared into his eyes a moment before searching his features.
Emotions high, I suddenly became overwhelmed with an aggression I’d never felt before.
Frantic, desperate, worried, betrayed, frightened, all the feelings plaguing since I discovered the truth about Jackyl hit and I needed an escape.
Not even thinking, I crushed my lips to his, thrusting my tongue past his teeth.
Dash flung himself further against the blinds, his hands flying to the sides.
Taking an abrupt step closer to him so my body was pressed to his and my head was tipped down a bit, my fingers slid up to his jaw and forced his back to hold the kiss.
All the blood rushing to my brain, I grew dizzy from his taste, the softness of his tongue.
Tossing the cigarette to the floor, I shoved my hand into his sweats and fiercely gripped his cock.
He grunted and thrashed about, banging into the wooden slats again. The heels of his palms shoved on my shoulders, trying to push me away, but I refused. Intensifying the kiss while rubbing to make him hard, his grunts of protest grew more frantic as he seriously tried to break away.
The second he was semi erect, I dropped to my knees, yanked down the front of his sweats, and scoffed him into my mouth.
“Oh, fuck!” he croaked, jerking violently against the window. “Oh, oh, shit.”
One hand buried in my head, tugging, while the other clutched my shoulder, his nails digging into my skin. Rapidly bobbing, he grew thicker, longer, harder between my lips. A palm cupping an ass cheek, the other tucked between his thighs to stimulate his perineum.
“Ah, shit!” he howled, rising to his tiptoes. “Unh, oh, fuck.”
I groaned when the first drop of precum hit my tongue, fueling a hunger I’d not felt in so damn long. One second, he was trying to push me away, the next, he was shoving me forward. Poor Dash had no idea what he wanted at the moment.
Daring to be bolder, my middle finger reached between his cheeks, found the hole, and pressed. He thrashed about again and whimpered, his thighs shaking. Very carefully, I forced the first knuckle inside and he nearly came undone.
“Ah, oh, unh, unh, oh, shit, fuck, oh, shit.”
Groaning at the sounds he was making, I grew more aggressive, slurping and gagging on his dick.
Spit dribbling off my chin, I eased my finger further until I felt the small, spongy patch.
The second I grazed it, Dash was flopping about, trembling, both hands fisting my hair.
Bending over, he was making all kinds of noises that ranged between erotic, disgust, and pain.
“Oh, unh, shit, shit, shit.”
My eyelids closed, I lifted my chin and tipped my head so I could take him all the way down my throat. My jaw wide to keep my teeth off him, my nose was now buried against his lower abdomen, the coarse hairs tickling my nose.
“Fuck!” he shouted with a curt thrust that nearly had me vomiting. “Vin, oh, shit, Vinny. Unh, shit, shit.”
My mouth opened, tears watering my eyes, I shook my head with his cock buried in my esophagus. He cried out again, flinging his back to the window, one of the panes cracking.
“I’m cumming, oh, shit, I’m cumming.”
As much as those words delighted me and as hungry as I was to eat all that delicious cum, it was too soon.
He wasn’t ready. His cock swelling and his muscles clamping around my fingers, I hastily shoved away and leapt to my feet.
Sneering at his confused, awestruck face, I wiped my chin, turned, and stomped for the door.
“Are you fucking kidding me?” he roared, bending over, one hand gripping the window frame by his head, the other pushing down on his groin. His face contorted in pain, his lips curled around his teeth as he hissed. “Ah, shit, not again.”
“Call me a fag ever again, I’ll bite it off next time, bastard.” I swung open the door, stepped out, and slammed it a little too hard.
“What the hell?” Tyler called out from downstairs. “You okay up there?”
“Mind your fucking business,” I barked as I stomped across the landing to my room.
I slammed it, too, and locked it. Snatching the pillow off the bed, I yanked the case, pulled the nightstand across the wall, and knocked the lamp to the floor.
Hopping on top, I covered the vent so he couldn’t see what I was doing.
Dropping to my feet, I grabbed the remote, turned on the television, and blasted the volume.
Then I threw myself to my mattress, quickly unfastened my jeans, and pulled out my cock.
Viciously jacking off, I sucked the finger that had been inside him, pretending his dick was still in my mouth.
Pretending he willingly parted those cheeks to let me pound his little pussy until I bred that cunt good.
“Oh, shit,” I grunted, my stomach sinking.
My fist squeezing tightly, it was clapping against my pelvis, being brutal to hurry the release.
After only a few minutes, my gut knotted and my balls shrunk.
The back of my head pushing into the mattress, my neck arched as the orgasm hit.
Jerking and convulsing, my eyes rolled behind clenched lids, cum spurting over my fingers. “Unh, Dash. Oh, fuck, Dash, unh.”
As quickly as it hit, it receded and I sagged into the mattress, panting, covered in sweat. My nuts aching from the punishment, my arms splayed to the sides, my fingers sticky from jizz.
“Fuck!” I shouted, throwing an arm over my head to bury my face in the crook of my elbow.
What the hell did I just do? I wasn’t used to being attracted to anyone other than Billy.
Whenever I was aroused, I was trained to act fast, be aggressive, and cum as quickly as possible since Billy and I never had more than a few minutes to sneak around.
Going on instinct and adrenaline, it never clicked in my head to stop what I was doing until I nutted.
Now that I had, clarity was returning, chiding me for my stupidity. When I left this hidden house in the mountains, I wasn’t only losing Jackyl, but Dash. I fucked up bad.
Jackyl, Dash, Violetta, the kids, and Billy. Apparently, this was the season I lost every goddamn thing I loved.
