Chapter 5 #2

“Good girl,” he murmurs, stepping between my spread thighs and pulling me into a deep kiss.

He kisses down my jaw, sucking on my neck and down my chest. He sucks on my nipples one after the other, licking and biting gently until I’m whimpering and arching into his mouth.

Then he lifts me off the counter like I weigh nothing, carrying me into the bedroom with my legs wrapped around his waist.

He sets me on the bed on my hands and knees, then climbs behind me. His big hands grip my hips as he lines himself up and pushes back inside me in one smooth thrust.

“Fuck,” I moan, my fingers gripping the sheets as he fills me again.

Grant groans and starts fucking me from behind, deep and steady. His hand slides up my back and into my hair, pulling just enough to make me arch for him. “That’s it,” he growls. “Take it just like that.”

I push back against him, meeting every thrust, lost in how full he makes me feel.

“Harder,” I gasp. “Please, Grant, fuck me harder.”

He gives me exactly what I ask for, slamming into me with powerful strokes that make me cry out. One of his hands slides under me to rub my clit while the other keeps a firm grip on my hip.

“Come for me,” he demands, his voice rough. “I want to feel this pussy come on my cock again.”

I shatter, moaning his name as my second orgasm crashes over me. My walls clamp down around him and I feel him swell inside me.

“Fuck, Chloe,” he groans, thrusting deep a few more times before he buries himself to the hilt and comes hard.

I feel the hot rush of his cum filling me, pulse after pulse, until it starts to leak out around his cock. He stays buried inside me, breathing hard, his hands stroking my back as we both come down.

He finally pulls out slowly and rolls us so I’m lying on his chest, his arms wrapped around me.

Neither of us says anything for a long moment. I just listen to his heartbeat and feel the warmth of his cum still inside me.

I’ve never felt anything like this before and I don’t want it to end.

A little while later I get up and he pulls open a drawer and grabs another one of his t-shirts and a fresh pair of boxers. He helps me into them himself, pulling the shirt over my head and then kneeling to help me step into the boxers. The clothes are huge on me, but they smell like him.

He dresses himself quickly, another t-shirt and a pair of shorts, then takes my hand in his. His grip is firm and warm as he leads me down the hall into the kitchen.

He’s just starting to pull things out of the fridge when his phone rings on the counter. He glances at the screen. “It’s Ray, the tow guy,” he says, answering it. “Yeah, Ray. You get to the car yet?”

While he talks to Ray, I pull my own phone out of my bag. The screen is full of notifications. Missed calls and texts from my mom. A few from Bryant too.

My stomach twists.

I open the messages.

Mom (3 missed calls, 7 texts):

Chloe where are you? You can’t just storm out like that.

Your sister is devastated. You really hurt her tonight.

Call me back. We need to talk about this as a family.

I know you’re upset but this is not how we handle things.

Jessica is crying in her room. You need to apologize.

Bryant is worried about you too.

Chloe please answer me.

Bryant (2 missed calls, 4 texts):

Hey, can we talk? I know tonight was a lot.

I’m sorry I didn’t tell you sooner. I didn’t want to hurt you.

Jess is really upset. Can you please call one of us?

I still care about you, Chloe. You’re my friend. Let’s not let this ruin everything.

I stare at the screen, my chest tightening again.

The warmth from the shower and Grant’s touch starts to fade as reality crashes back in.

I don’t reply to any of them. I lock the phone and set it face down on the counter, trying to push the messages out of my head as Grant finishes his call with Ray.

“What’s wrong?” he asks, his voice low and concerned.

I shake my head. “Nothing.”

He steps up to me and gently lifts my chin so I’m looking into his eyes. “Don’t lie to me, sweetheart. Tell me what’s wrong.”

I swallow hard. “My mom and Bryant called and texted me.”

He holds out his hand for my phone. I hesitate for a second, but then I hand it to him. I barely know this man, but the way he looks pissed on my behalf makes something warm bloom in my chest.

I watch him scroll through the messages. His jaw tightens and his expression darkens. He looks like he’s about to break my phone in half. “What are you going to do?” He asks, handing me back my phone.

I shrug. “Would it be terrible if I turned my phone off for the next few days and made them sweat it out?”

He laughs softly and pulls me into his arms. “Do whatever you need to do, sweetheart.”

I nod and quickly type out a group text to my mom, dad, Jessica, and Bryant.

Me: Out of town for the foreseeable future. Congrats on your engagement. I’ll call when I’m ready to talk.

I hit send, then turn my phone off and set it down on the counter. “What did Ray say about my car?” I cross my arms over my chest, already bracing myself.

Grant sighs and rubs the back of his neck. “Ray towed it over to my mechanic, the one I’ve trusted for the last thirty years. Your car needs a new engine. They said it would cost more to fix it than replace it.”

I let out a long breath and lean back against the counter. “Well that wasn’t the news I was expecting.”
