Shahwar entered the bedroom slowly opening the door and then entered like she was on a mission.

Mission to uncover her husband's true identity.

Though when she saw him sitting on the couch with his laptop working the same way as the normal way he would she started looking at him standing near the couch with her eyes narrowing more and more.

He hadn't even changed and was still in his suit with his blazer lying over the cushion. "Neechay toh shower ki baat horahi thi? Aur ab tak kapray bhi nahi badlay inho ne." She whispered but it took his attention and he looked up at her.

(He was talking about shower downstairs? And till now he hasn't even changed his clothes.)

"Neechay Iraj thi. I just want her to go back." He set aside the laptop closing it and stood up.

(Iraj was downstairs.)

"Apko sharam hi nahi hai Rehaan. She's your sister, kya socha hoga usne mere baray mien." The small voice started to come out from the curved pouted lips of hers.

(You have no shame at all Rehaan. What must she think of me.)

"Sharam toh ussay nahi hai. Kya socha usne yahan aisay anay se pehlay. Now I'll make her regret coming here." He moved past Shahwar and started unbuttoning his shirt.

(She is the one who doesn't have any shame. What was she thinking before showing up here.)

"Kesi ajeeb si baatien kar rahay thay aap neechay. Please ab mat kariyega." His back was towards her face when she spoke.

(What inappropriate things were you saying downstairs. Please don't do it again.)

He took his shirt off, threw it over the bed and turned around walking towards her then stopped just few inches away from her, "Woh sirf baatien thi, ab mien karunga bohat kuch ajeeb.

" His low voice and absolute proximity was enough for Shahwar to start feeling her cheeks and breath heat up, which then made her stumble but he caught her holding her waist with one hand before she could fall.

(They were just words, now I'm going to do many inappropriate things.)

"Go, sleep for now." He said stabilizing her body and slid his hand back from her waist as she tried not to look at his bare body and feel the touch that had left her numb for a while.

He went inside the bathroom and Shahwar started fanning her face to stop the heat growing on her face. "Itna kareeb akar kyun bol rahay hain yeh aaj? That's what we do everyday anyway."

(Why is he talking in such extreme proximity?)

Shahwar hopped onto the bed and hid her body with the quilt.

She tried to close her eyes but then the image of her husband's wide broad uncovered torso flashed in front of her and she had to keep them open till she heard the bathroom door sound.

Knowing that he might sense her being awake she faked her sleeping.

"Shahwar?" She tried to still her breathing faking further. "Did you fall asleep wearing these slippers to bed?"

She was internally screaming but continued her act. Getting caught now would be the worst. She felt his hands on her feet, he was probably taking off the slippers.

Rehaan set the slippers on the mat next to the bed then spread the bed covers over her legs properly. The small light from the only lit lamp in their room was switched off by him and he laid down beside her, falling asleep.

In the morning when she woke up and went for a shower she decided to cook something for Iraj before leaving for work today.

Going downstairs after her shower she started to prepare the usual breakfast items for Rehaan and herself. She added a lemon cheesecake as a treat for Iraj.

It was almost time for Rehaan to come for breakfast but none of the workers had even showed up yet, including Isabel. She herself set the table with all the things and then went inside back to the kitchen to bring the cheesecake, with a happy smile on her face looking at her own delicious creation.

Before she could take the cake in her hands she felt hot air near her ear from behind, "Good morning sweetheart." It was Rehaan standing behind her.

Trying to soothe the tingling sensations all over her she turned to see him standing there without a shirt and only in his boxers. He placed both her hands on the edges of the kitchen counter around her, caging her and came closer to her face.

"Is that for me?" He tilted his face slightly referring to the cake.

"I—uh—" His lack of clothing was making everything blur for Shahwar. No man had ever even been as close to her as him in her entire life. She wanted to look away but his huge body was the only thing her eyes could set their eyes on.

When she didn't answer Rehaan gave her smirk and then snaked one of his hands on the back of her waist and lifted her up like she was weightless making her sit on the kitchen counter.

The movement made Shahwar forget about her own existence and she kept on staring at his infectious brown eyes. He was so beautiful.

Then there was a clattering sound from somewhere that broke her trance and she looked here and there trying to figure out what had happened. "I'm sorry—I uh, thought, um—" Iraj was holding a plate in her hand and looking around to find something to say.

Now Shahwar understood what was happening. Her husband was a cunning man. He knew Iraj would be here for breakfast and had showcased his high level acting skills for her to pack her bags and leave their house.

Iraj put the plate aside and excused herself at once. Rehaan went back to his original composure and suddenly saw his wife glaring at him. "Ab kuch pehen len aap. Chali gayi woh bechari."

(Now go and wear something. Poor girl has left.)

"Who is the cheesecake for?" He stepped back and asked.

"What is your problem with Iraj? She's your sister. Why do you want to send her back so eagerly? It's not like we are actually being disturbed like hormonal newlyweds." She folded her hands on her chest and pouted like a small child.

"Her husband is the problem. She has left him and has come here to ignore him.

I know my sister, she's got the worst bratty behavior with her husband.

Talking about Azfar will only make things worse which is why, I have to make her feel uncomfortable here.

" He told her whatever he could in some words.

"Oh. There's a problem between them?" She gave him a worried look.

"You are the cutest thing in the world Shahwar." He smiled, lifted her up from the counter and put her down on the floor to stand.

She blinked twice and then checked if Iraj was still there but she was gone, so why was he saying something like that? "I'm going to get dressed for work, don't give my cheesecake to her." He said walking out of the kitchen.

"It's not yours!" She replied back standing there.

He knew she'd made it for Iraj right when he had entered the kitchen earlier because he knew his wife was like that. She was the sweetest woman in the world. Not answering he kept on walking towards the stairs to go up to the bedroom.

When he came down Shahwar was already done with her breakfast and she went up now to change her clothes for work.

He sat down for breakfast and saw the cake cut into two equal portions.

He smiled at his wife's distribution of care for both the people equally to not upset the either of them.

He first finished the food that he loved and would wait for to be made for him to eat, today was one of the lucky days that she had cooked too.

A while later Iraj came shyly sitting next to him on the chair at the table. "I'm, you know, surely feeling embarrassed but I'm very happy you know." Rehaan looked at her with his raised brow.

She cleared her throat, "I hadn't expected that you'd be this invested in your marriage and wife especially after Beena." That mention of Beena made him go all serious.

"I had thought you might not even be interested in Dur e Shahwar bhabhi, but to my surprise, you've proven me wrong.

It is truly a remarkable happiness for me Rehaan bhai.

I'm glad that you didn't make her suffer because of your past." Iraj had said as much as she could to show how proud she was of her brother but she hadn't known that Shahwar had heard everything.

She was standing there with both of them not being aware of her presence.

Beena. So that was the name of the woman her husband was in love with.

He still was. And his sister knew how intense his emotions were for her.

She even knew Shahwar could never be anything for him, before Rehaan had pulled the act in front of her.

Her reality was again brought to her knowledge.

She could do whatever she liked to make her mind feel better but truth was never going to fade away.

She was just unwanted dirt in Rehaan's life.

Shahwar turned away from there and went out, then decided to walk to her workplace.

She didn't want his car or his driver or anything that belonged to him in her life.

She wished she could even move out of the house but that was something she knew could never be fixed.

He'd never let that happen. Her suffering was what he had decided for her.

Some men are so dumb to not see what's right in front of them. My Rehaan isn't like that. He'll make some mistakes but he'll never behave like a toxic man. That's why I love him, the most.??
