Most of the day Shahwar went up and down the house checking the place out and then tried to ask the cook in the kitchen to let her use the area for some of her own cooking too.

The very French man had given her a very skeptical look and had told her that she should've requested in the morning but now the kitchen would mostly stay occupied with his menu being prepared for lunch and dinner for the day.

He had later said that she could get some space the following day now that she'd mentioned it.

Shahwar's eyes were a misery for trying to escape her boredom.

She left with a curt nod towards him. She saw some books in the huge shelves of the living room but they were all about economics and that was something she wasn't interested in.

A while later she went back to the room and sat there on the bed.

Rehaan hadn't come back from the meeting room in the house, it had been four hours.

Soon after she fell asleep and when the housekeeper knocked at her door to come for lunch she'd sent them back murmuring things in her sleep.

It took Rehaan the entire day to finish the first meeting with the lawyers and the directors of the French team to sum up the things that they had to work on for the next two days.

By the time he came to the room it was evening and Shahwar was fast asleep.

He didn't want to wake her up and sat down beside her stroking her hair softly. There was a hint of guilt within him for leaving his wife all by herself there when she had come along with him because she couldn't be alone back at home.

Looking at her made him forget everything else in the world.

It was more like she was his world. He bent down and was about to press a kiss on her forehead but then stopped thinking it might wake her up.

He placed his elbow next to her head and rested his chin over his hand looking at her, not caring how much time was passing by.

He didn't even want to go and change his stuffy suit as that would take time for him to not be able to see her during those few minutes.

There was a knock on the door and he at once went to check who it was before the person could go for the second knock and wake his wife up.

He stepped out of the door and closed it softly then asked the housekeeper to not disturb them, though he was told that Shahwar hadn't eaten anything after breakfast. He sent the man back asking him to get dinner spread in the dining room.

"Shahwar, wake up. We have to go down for dinner." Shahwar suddenly moved and turned around on the bed, then opened her eyes when he called her as he sat down next to her on the edge of the bed.

"Maalik?" She smiled seeing him, "You're here."

"Come, get up my sweetheart. Let's go down." She lifted herself up to sit and then stretched her hands a little to waver off the sleepiness.

"Okay let's go." She jumped out of the bed and Rehaan held her face pressing kisses over her cheeks.

"Why didn't you eat lunch?" He paused and raised his brows at her.

"I was sleepy." She pursed her lips and rubbed her face.

"Alright, come now." He didn't want to scold his wife, he just didn't have the heart to say anything to her that would make her even frown as a joke now.

"I missed you." She wrapped her arms around his chest and hugged him.

"I did too." She stepped back and looked at him with a smile and he took her hand then placed a kiss on her palm, "Let's get you something to eat now." He held her hand and walked out of the room.

After dinner Rehaan called the cook and praised him for his amazing cooking skills. Shahwar thanked him for the dinner too and kept her words short passing him a smile.

"There are so many big rooms in this house." She said as she sat on the bed. "Just like our house."

"Yes, just like our home." He repeated and then sat down on the bed pulling her on his lap.

"But this one stays empty most of the time right?" Shahwar's head tilted over his chest looking at him.

"Yes, it does." He kept on looking at her eyes. The big brown ones with the most noticeable delicate lashes.

"How long will we stay here?" She finally got to the point as she didn't want to sound very obvious by saying it right in the beginning of the conversation.

"Three days." He gave a short nod with his genuine expression and Shahwar was sneering at herself internally, she didn't like it here at all.

It had been too empty for her and she felt useless without her husband around.

But she herself had decided to go with him and now she knew it would be wrong to complain about it.

"Right."

"Right." He imitated her tone and she scrunched her nose pouting at him.

"I love you." She kissed his cheeks holding his face. "I love you so much."

"I have to shower." He said and she stopped at once removing her hands from the sides of his face feeling weird.

"Okay." She tried to shift out of his lap to let him move to stand up but he held her waist not letting her move.

"Bold of you to assume I'd be on my own inside the bathroom my darling." He pecked her lips as she blinked in surprise. Then stood up lifting her in his arms carrying her to the bathroom. "Will my Shahwar do my buttons again?"

She tried to hide her smile and then nodded as he walked holding her, "I can do that."

"Can you always do that? I think you do them better." He went inside the bathroom near the bath tub.

"I can try." She gave him her adorable blink and he kissed her neck putting her down. His wife's reflexes to his kisses were of a baby's giggles which would make him feel more lost in her and melting further away.

"Sweetheart I want commitment. Try won't do." He threw his blazer off on the floor still looking at her.

"You never really leave me with choices." She passed a thoughtful nod at him and he pulled her top off of her with a chuckle.

"What choices can a man who's too weak to live without his wife for even a moment give you?" Shahwar who was right now feeling a little shy because of the lack of clothing her cheeks shaded from pink to pinker and then red.

"Okay. I'll do it." She hurriedly spoke feeling tingling sensations all over her.

Rehaan unbuttoned his shirt himself seeing her fiddle with her fingers, "Is my Shahwar still feeling hesitant to look at me after yesterday?" He bent his head down and brought it to her face level to make eye contact with a smirk.

She put her hands over her face, "Don't make fun of me."

"We did the whole wedding thing remember there were many people back there in front of whom you said yes to marry me, they all knew what happens when you say yes to marry. I didn't see you hiding your face there." He took his shirt off as well and turned the faucet on for the bathtub.

Shahwar gasped removing her hands from her face, "Rehaan." Her eyes widened as she looked at her husband's such shameless eyes that were not faltering even the slightest at his own remarks.

"Shahwar." The sound of the water running behind was heightening his desires, "You smell so good. Like flowers." He pressed his lips over the center of her chest and his hands moved to slid off her jumper shorts smoothly.

"You smell nice too." She tried to compliment him like an earnest child which made him chuckle again.

"Can I get a kiss for smelling nice then?" He took his lowers off and lifted her up once again to settle her inside the bathtub and then got inside going behind her.

He started squishing her floral bubble bath from the bottle into the water and she turned her head back to him trying to feel a little courageous she kissed his lips and then said, "Maalik gets everything, doesn't he?"

"Always." He kissed her back.
