The two of them were glued to the screen by the time I went downstairs. I slipped my shirt on and took a seat to watch Ella. Our little slut did well for her first audition.

Alec leaned over to show me a close-up of her come-drenched face.

“She looks good,” I said, chuckling when he grinned.

“You should have checked her pussy before you left,” Alec complained.

“There will be plenty of time for all her holes,” I said with a shrug.

I glanced at Nick, but he was still staring at the screen. I wasn’t sure whether he wanted her to fail or not, but he was clearly invested.

“She’s got a couple of days left at work. We can keep her between the house and Dominion,” I murmured, eyes fixed on the large screen.

She scrunched her face, then used one finger to scratch at her eyebrow.

“She seems like a natural sub,” Alec said—and that caught Nick’s attention.

We all worked long hours, and we didn’t have many vices.

It had started with the occasional shared woman between Alec and me.

Then our tastes darkened until we only fucked together.

Good cop, bad cop—or bad cop, bad cop—depending on the mood.

The system had been in place long before Nick joined us, and he hadn’t hesitated to step into it.

He’d just need to get past the Sophie business.

“Give her a few days, then you can join in on the next session,” I told Alec. He clapped his hands together and rubbed them eagerly.

“Yes,” he hissed.

“Nick, I want you in the room with us,” I said.

He frowned, but he didn’t say no.

“If she’s a little nervous, you know what to do,” Alec said to Nick with a sly smirk.

“She’ll definitely enjoy herself then,” I replied. “Not in the office, though. She might need time to recover. I’ll leave a douche on her bed tomorrow.”

I stood and poured myself a drink, sipping it as I watched her on the screen.

It would be interesting to see how she handled two of us—with Nick in the room.

“It bothers me that Sophie said she wasn’t working for anyone,” I said, rubbing at the back of my neck. “Who would she protect to the death like that?”

Nick stretched his legs out, crossing them at the ankle. “She didn’t have kids. Could’ve been a man.”

“True,” I murmured, thinking of my father.

He’d been a fool for my mother. Blind to everything else. Sophie could’ve been the same—devotion turning into stupidity.

“It doesn’t matter who it was,” Nick continued. “We’re always watching our backs. Too many fronts, too many moving parts. Alec did well getting us through the enquiry.”

“Yeah,” I said. “He did.”

After a beat, I added, “How’s Ella been during drop-offs?”

“The same,” he replied, glancing at his phone. “Quiet.”

His screen lit up. Her screenshot sat there as his wallpaper.

Alec had edited the footage from multiple angles and dropped it into the group chat. Ella looked… good. Very good. My cock buried down her throat like she’d been made for it. She’d held her position, waiting to receive every last inch of me.

“She was awkward the next day,” I said. “Kept sneaking glances at all three of us.”

Nick smirked faintly.

“I could warn her about tomorrow,” I added, “but it’ll be more fun to spring Alec on her. She’s already suspicious—watching us over the table like she’s trying to solve a puzzle.”

I’d had reservations at first.

But once Alec and Nick were on board, the decision had settled into place. Nick pulling back wasn’t permanent—just a pause. He’d come around.

“Is her dad still kicking around?” I asked.

“I dropped in on him,” Nick said, shaking his head. “I doubt there’s much of a liver left.”

“Good riddance,” I muttered.

It wasn’t always about shitty parents. Alec had a stable, middle-class upbringing and somehow turned out more sadistic than either of us.

“Still,” I added, opening my laptop, “a girl with daddy issues could work in our favour.”

“Mm,” Nick said noncommittally, then looked up from his phone. “What are you planning to do with her at Dominion?”

“Front-facing role first,” I replied. “Customer service. Then gaming positions. She’ll rot if she’s stuck at home—and now that her notice is done, we can go back to our usual night shifts.”

Nick studied me. “You’ve given her a lot of thought.”

“You brought her to my attention.”

“That was research,” he said, arching a brow.

“So you didn’t check out her swimsuit photo?”

“Ugh,” he groaned, tipping his head back to stare at the ceiling.

I didn’t add anything. Alec was already pushing him.

Alec passed the plates to me, and I set them on the table one by one. Nick had gone to call Ella down for dinner.

“You’re spoiling her,” Alec muttered.

“Remind me again what kind of dessert you made for us tonight,” I replied dryly.

Ella had mentioned—casually, like it didn’t matter—that berries were her favourite fruit. Alec had taken that information and gone completely overboard, producing a layered strawberry cake drowned in cream and precision.

“She’s only getting that because I know I won’t be able to contain myself,” he said irritably. “Fuck. The things I’d do to those pretty pink nipples—”

“Try to tone it down for the first night,” I warned.

Eventually, we’d all end up in the communal bedroom. She’d have to adapt to our individual tastes and limits—learn where one ended and another began—but tonight still mattered. First impressions always did.

I finished setting the table, checking the cutlery and drinks out of habit more than necessity.

Nick returned first, Ella a step behind him.

She moved carefully, like she wasn’t sure where she was allowed to exist in the room. As we ate, the conversation stayed deliberately normal. We discussed her new role at Dominion—front-facing, learning the rhythm of the floor.

Nick even offered advice, explaining how to deal with drunk patrons and men who didn’t understand boundaries.

I caught Alec’s eye across the table.

We both knew exactly how ironic that was.
