Chapter Three #2
before she got between them, something that only she could bring out in them.
Potential. Possibility.
Then he didn’t care about anything beyond how good the woman
in his arms felt. He pulled almost all the way out and plunged back in. Red
gasped and her legs tightened around him and the sweetest battle began.
He felt her nails dig into the flesh of his back and loved
the sensation. “Do your worst, baby. I’ll love it. I’ll love the ache I’ll feel
from where your little claws held me.”
The words seemed to do something for her and her gaze went
equal parts lust and ferocious will. His Red was a wild cat, working with him,
moving her body in time to his. All the while, Keane held her. He told her how
hot she was, how sexy they were together, that he couldn’t wait until it was
his turn. Every word seemed to send her closer and closer to the edge. Every
thrust of his cock had her holding on tighter.
He worked her over, looking for that spot deep inside that
would send her reeling. It was hard to hold back his orgasm because it was
right there, but he was determined.
He held off until she tightened around him and he heard the
sweet gasps and moans that signaled her pleasure.
Then he couldn’t hold back a second longer. The orgasm hit
him like a wave, taking over his body until his vision blurred and there was
nothing in the world but her heat and the pleasure her body gave him.
He fell on her, not wanting to break the connection yet.
He felt another hand on his head. Not Red’s. Keane’s. When
he looked up his friend was smiling at him.
He started to move. “It’s your turn.”
Keane’s hand held fast. “Let’s take a breath.”
Red grinned up at him. “He needs a minute. He enjoyed the
encounter, too. Let’s just say my lower back has the evidence.”
Keane’s face was lit with a joy Garrett hadn’t seen there
before. It made him look younger and far more carefree. “I couldn’t help it.
You two were hot.”
Garrett laughed and gently kissed her. “It won’t take him
long, baby.”
“I hope not,” she whispered. “Because I want both my men.”
It was all he could ask for. His friend and their girl.
He hoped tomorrow morning he could make it happen.

Olivia closed the door behind her as quietly as
possible. The last thing she wanted was to wake up those two hot Doms and have
them tell her they didn’t want the night to end and they wanted to see her
again.
Or they would go back to being awkward and she would regret
every decision she made tonight.
It had been a perfect night. She didn’t want to ruin it with
reality.
Didn’t she? She’d lain there for hours and thought about
what she wanted. She didn’t even know where they lived. They’d mentioned
Austin. It was hours from Willow Fork, though her brothers often made the trip.
And then she’d thought about how it would feel if they
rejected her.
So she was running.
“Hey, that dress held up nicely. It elevates your walk of
shame,” a familiar voice said.
Bobby was sitting in the hallway outside the room. He had
two travel mugs of coffee in his hands.
Oh, how she loved him. She let go of that dream. She had
loved Bobby Farley since she was a kid, and the truth of the matter was he
loved her, too. He was an amazing friend and supported everything she did. The
fact that he couldn’t make her body hum like it was now didn’t mean their love
was any less.
He struggled to stand, his expression falling. “You’re
crying. What did they do?”
It brought a smile to her face, and an odd peace settled
over her. This was right. She’d spent the last couple of years railing against
fate, but this was who they were supposed to be. There were no mistakes, no
roads untaken. Only this amazing man she loved who was her friend. “I just love
you.”
She moved in and wrapped her arms around him while he still
held on to the coffees.
“Uh, I love you, too, Livie. But now I’m worried the night
didn’t go well.”
She sighed and released him, cupping his face with her
hands. “It was perfect. Beyond perfect. There was an academy and I sold myself
to it because I was a poor girl, and Papa was a rambling man so I had to take
care of Nana by allowing the academy to sell my virginity to two wealthy
gentlemen.”
His face split in a wide grin, and he offered her a coffee.
“Well, that sounds like a full evening. Is Nana going to survive?”
They started walking down the hallway. Her room was three
floors up. She took a sip of the coffee and it was perfect. A little cream. Two
sugars. “Nana is doing well. Her surgery will be taken care of and all my
siblings will get new shoes for the winter, and all I had to do was two hot
guys.”
“Seriously, they let you make up a whole role play?” Bobby
asked with a smile as they made it to the elevator and pressed the button.
She strode onto the elevator. Forced herself to because
there was a big part of her that wanted to get back into that room and pretend
like she hadn’t walked away. She could slide back in and they could start the
morning right.
Except she didn’t have a key. Between having to knock and
admit what she’d done and having Bobby waiting for her, all arrows pointed to
stay the course.
It was a hot night and one she would hold close to her
heart. “I didn’t make it up. Master K did.”
The elevator opened again, and she hesitated.
Bobby snorted. “They’re all in bed. I assure you. Miranda
checked a couple of hours ago. She said Josh and Grim and Nicole are happily
ensconced in the honeymoon suite. Your parents are in theirs. It’s across from
Gigi and Miranda’s. She said they seemed to be interested in spending time
together.”
So her parents had their own wild night. She walked out of
the elevator. “It’s not that I’m actually ashamed. But if my mother knows I spent
the night with two guys, she’ll think I’ve finally decided to settle down. How
weird is that? My parents generally think if I’m with one guy, I’m fooling
around because every woman should have to deal with two guys.”
“Well, your brother did prove that point. Hey, at least your
parents won’t tell you that your love life is a sin and you’re going to hell,”
Bobby quipped. “My parents were fine with me and Will marrying you, but I’m
worried me being gay is a bridge too far.”
She stopped and turned to him. “You need to give them the
chance. I know over the years they haven’t been super supportive, but they
adjusted. They didn’t want you to leave Colorado, didn’t understand why you
needed so much school. They didn’t understand your jobs, but they went to graduation.
They celebrated you. Maybe not the way you wanted, but the way they could give.
So tell them. Give them a chance to prove you wrong.”
“And if they don’t?”
“Well, my momma will be perfectly happy to take you in. That
woman loves to bring in strays. Ask Grim.” She used the key card to get into
her room.
And was immediately faced with Gigi Dawson and Miranda
McNamara-O’Malley, who was still in a pair of pajama bottoms and a tank top
with bunny slippers on her feet.
And they already had mimosas. They held up champagne
glasses.
“Welcome back, you slutty thing,” Gigi said with a grin. She
was dressed in leggings and a T-shirt and sneakers. She had already been out
for a run. Gigi was a trauma nurse, and she was practically perfect.
For a few moments Olivia had been perfect for two guys.
Gigi’s expression fell. “Unless it was terrible. I’m so
sorry. Was it terrible?”
“I think it was the opposite,” Miranda commented.
Olivia had to take a deep breath. “It was good. Excellent,
really. But it was pretty intense. They’re tops.”
Gigi nodded. “Oh, yeah. I might have asked a couple of
questions.”
“I swear she’s spent too much time with her cousin,” Miranda
explained.
Gigi had many cousins. She was from a big family so they
were numerous, but Olivia knew exactly which one they were talking about now.
“Harlow? I do not need a private investigator to look into two guys I won’t see
again.”
Harlow Dawson was a badass PI. She had used Harlow’s
services many times. This would not be one of them.
“But,” Gigi began, and she had that expression that told
Olivia she had excellent gossip. Normally that was a good thing. It wasn’t this
morning.
“I want to hold on to the perfection of last night,” Olivia
explained. “I can’t do that if I know who they are. Let me keep them as Master
K and Master G. Maybe someday I’ll want to know, but not today.”
She looked around. There was a whole breakfast buffet set
up, and she remembered what she hadn’t before. It had slipped her mind. Gigi
and Miranda were hosting a breakfast for Josh and Nicole and Grim in Olivia’s
suite, since it was the biggest.
They had to do it early since the happy threesome had a
plane to catch at nine.
It was supposed to be a casual come-and-go kind of thing
strictly for family and close friends.
And it was starting soon.
All thoughts of the two hot guys she spent the night with
fled. Well, the sexy parts. The part where she was in her maid of honor dress
with her hair down and makeup smudged did not.
“My parents are going to be here soon. I have to change,”
she whispered more to herself than anyone else.
“Damn, sister, you need to change.” Josh walked into the
living area holding Nicole’s hand. “If you don’t and Momma sees you like that,
she’s going to start planning a wedding.”
“Dad might start planning a funeral.” Grim joined them. He
didn’t pretend anymore. He didn’t call them Mr. Barnes or Mr. Fleetwood. “Pops
will want to know where the popcorn is. You know he loves a good family drama.
Did Miranda’s brothers finally get their shot at you, Livie?”
Her brothers were obnoxious and she loved them. Grim would
never make her feel ashamed for having a wild night. Josh would cover for her
with their parents like he had a hundred times before.
Nicole frowned and looked Grim’s way. “No. Tanner and Kade
took their shot early in the evening then moved on to some scary-looking lady.
She’s gorgeous, but there was something blunt about her. I think someone told
me she used to be the district attorney. You know they really do like older
women.”
