Chapter Eight #2
dead dog. They had been kind to her. Scott would never have gotten in the car,
much less allowed Muffin to practically hump him in the back seat.
What was she truly risking?
Her heart. But what use was it if she never tried?
It didn’t have to be forever. They weren’t going to end up
as her loving husbands, but for a couple of nights they could be her indulgent
Doms. As long as all the rules were laid out and everyone knew what the others
were willing to give and what they needed to withhold. All the cards were on
the table. It was as safe as she could get.
Keane pulled the SUV into the spot where Olivia’s car should
be and turned off the engine. He looked back. “I’m going to drop you off with
Garrett and I’ll drive Gigi and Miranda wherever they need to go. I’ll try to
get a ride back.”
Such a decision to make, but here it was and she didn’t have
any more real time. Tomorrow she had to meet with Scott and either have the
plan in place or tell him she lied.
That was not appealing.
But there was a choice that appealed to her greatly.
“They can stay at my place.” Decision made, and her body
hummed with anticipation.
Garrett sighed and Keane’s eyes hardened, but his tone was
still soft. “All right, then. We’ll go sleep at the bunkhouse.”
Gigi opened the door and grabbed her bag. “I don’t think
that’s what she’s saying. You going to stay in the playroom?”
“There’s a bed there, and there’s way more food in the main
house. I’m pretty sure Mom has some lasagna in the freezer,” Olivia explained,
feeling her body go tight. Now that the decision was made, she wanted to get on
with it. She wanted to get to the good stuff. It had been a rough day, and she
could use the discipline. She wanted to sink into her body and simply be for a
few hours.
She wanted to sleep with them wrapped around her.
“I thought the main house was being renovated.” Keane was
steady.
“They won’t be in until tomorrow morning, and they won’t
touch the playroom for a week or so. It’s not a full dungeon, but there is a
nice bed and plenty of equipment. That’s one of the things my parents are
renovating for. Now that we’re all out of the house, they want to take back
that part of their lives. So I thought we could talk in there.”
“You want to talk in the playroom?” Garrett asked, his voice
going deep.
She was tired of hiding. It was time for honesty. “No, Sir.
I want to use the room for what it was built for. I want to play.”
“Thank the universe.” Miranda hustled out of the car. “I’ll
see you in the morning, Livie. Have fun.”
Olivia followed them, taking Garrett’s hand to help her
down. This was her place. She was born on this ranch and had lived all her life
here. She knew the way the moon looked in all its phases. She’d run across the
fields at night and camped out. She knew every inch of the place.
So why did it suddenly all feel new?
Garrett loomed over her. “Why did you run?”
She felt Keane move in behind her, but he was silent.
“I don’t know,” she replied.
“Not good enough,” Keane demanded. “You know exactly why you
ran out of that house and didn’t say good-bye.”
Well, she’d decided to be honest. “Because I was afraid.”
“Afraid of what?” Keane stepped up, his eyes on her.
She was pretty sure Gigi and Miranda were already in her
house, probably watching out of the windows. The fact that they had left at all
was proof that they thought this was serious. Otherwise, they would be
FaceTiming the crew at The Hideout and asking where the popcorn was.
If she was going to have this week with them, she needed to
be honest. “Afraid that I’ll like you too much and I’ll get hurt at the end of
this. Because it has to end. It can’t work. I don’t live at O’Malley Ranch, and
this place has a foreman.”
“Well, I’m not sure it can’t work, but I know it won’t if we
never try,” Garrett offered.
“But if you feel better with boundaries in place, let’s say
any contract we have between us will last for one week,” Keane offered. “You’ll
be our sub for one week and we’ll be your Masters. We will protect and care for
you. We’ll pretty much do whatever you need us to do and in return…”
She knew what they wanted in return. “In return, I’m your
sub and I will obey in the bedroom. Can we play now, Sir?”
“Master,” Keane said, his voice tight. “I want to be Master
if I only get a week.”
She lowered her head. “Master.”
The deal was made and she was ready to begin.
* * * *
Keane felt his whole body go tight.
He was Olivia Barnes-Fleetwood’s Master for the next week.
They could work out a contract in the morning, but for tonight her verbal
agreement was enough. He placed his fingers under her chin, lifting it so she
had to look at him. “Olivia, I accept your deal, but that is not how you greet
us. You’re wearing far too many clothes. Show us to the playroom. You
understand we’re going to begin with discipline, right?”
Her lower lip trembled, but he was pretty sure it wasn’t
with fear. “Yes, Master.”
“Damn, I like that word from your mouth.” Garrett moved in
behind her, his hands finding her hips. “Tell me you accept me, too.”
His partner had gone into top space. When he stopped asking
and started demanding, Garrett was ready to go.
Olivia turned slightly. “Yes, Master. Would you like me to
find you something to eat?”
Garrett growled and pulled her back against his body. “I’m
eating you for dinner since you cost me mine.”
“Doesn’t sound like punishment to me,” she whispered.
Keane reached out and put a hand on her breast. “What did
you say?”
It was all play, and he loved how her body responded. Not
with fear but with desire. She trusted them on a base level. She didn’t
consider the idea they would hurt her physically. Not anymore than she needed
to bring her pleasure.
“I said it doesn’t sound like punishment,” Olivia replied.
“Master.”
“Better, but don’t think that sweet attitude of yours fixes
what happened tonight,” Keane explained. “You ran. You left without even
telling us where you were going. Would you do that to any other person you
invited into your home?”
Her eyes suddenly swelled with tears. “No.”
“And you haven’t apologized,” he pointed out.
She bit her bottom lip. “I needed the time to think.”
“So you thought while you were at the rowdy bar?” Garrett
asked.
She winced. “I talked it out with Miranda and Gigi.”
Keane wasn’t about to let her get away with that. “In the
rowdy bar where it was nearly impossible to hear anything?”
“We’re good at talking in bars. Lots of practice.”
He stepped back. “This is a conversation best had without
your clothes on, Olivia.”
Her lips curled up slightly. “Yes, Master.”
“Unless the bar fight you got into tonight has left you
sore,” he pointed out. “You took a couple of punches.”
Her eyes rolled. “Lola can’t punch to save her life. I
didn’t even feel it.”
“I bet she felt it when you snatched her hair,” Garrett
pointed out.
“Well, if she didn’t want to lose her hair, she should have
thought before saying shitty things about me in a place where I should feel
safe. I also didn’t like the fact that she had a hand on one of my men,” Olivia
announced. “And I’ll do it again. You can’t spank the sass out of me, Master.”
Keane’s face spread in a wide smile and he put a hand on her
hip, trapping her between them. “I wouldn’t dare. I like the sass, Olivia. I
thought you were hot as hell defending us.”
Her head tilted up. “I will defend my Doms whenever I need
to.”
He took her hand and led her to the door. Olivia opened it
and Keane and Garrett followed.
Keane barely saw the big house. He caught glimpses of ladders
and furniture covered with blankets and tarps. It was obvious they were
preparing for renovation work, but nothing mattered except the woman leading
the way.
Her hips swayed in invitation, and his dick was RSVPing.
She called him Master. That had made his cock tight and his
heart soft.
She moved up the grand stairs, and Garrett fell in beside
him.
“What’s our plan?” Garrett whispered.
Olivia turned and smiled. “You two talk while you follow me.
I’m not here.”
“Yeah, you’re getting spanked for that, too.” He had tried
his damnedest to give her some privacy. She needed her friends.
Her hands went to the buttons on her shirt and pulled it off
and let it drop. “Don’t threaten me with a good time, Master.” She sobered.
“Did I thank you for that?”
Keane moved up the stairs. This part wasn’t play. He cupped
her cheek. “You don’t have to. I want what’s best for you. I might not always
know what that is, but if you tell me, I’ll make sure it happens.”
She leaned over because being a step up from him was the
only way she was taller than he was. She brushed her lips over his. “I believe
you. Don’t take too long but you need to talk to your partner. Am I allowed to
ask questions this evening or is it strictly about play?”
He wanted her to ask all the questions. “Ask away.”
She nodded and started up the stairs again. Her hands went
around her back and she undid her bra, dropping it over the banister to the
floor below. “It’s the third door on the left. Don’t keep me waiting long.”
“Maybe we don’t need to talk.” Garrett was practically
drooling, and Keane didn’t blame him. She was gorgeous, and this wild side of
her called to him.
But he didn’t want to simply fall on top of her. “We need to
show her how good it can be to have two Masters. We can’t do that if we have to
stop and plan what we’re going to do.”
“We spank her. We fuck her. It’s a simple plan,” Garrett
insisted.
“She’s curious. We need to take our time, allow her to ask
whatever she wants and show her we want to know her, too.”
Garrett stopped. “And if she asks about…”
Prison. That was the word Garrett wasn’t saying. “I’m going
to tell her about it. I’m not going to lie, but I doubt that’s coming up
tonight. I’m going to be honest about everything. She deserves to know.”
Garrett nodded. “All right. Then I’ll follow your lead. She
needs to understand how we work. I’m her Master but you’re in charge. What are
you thinking?”
“I’m thinking about torturing her. Edging. You stop when I
