Chapter 7 - Defeating the Titan

The lobby of the Vance Global building was empty on a Saturday afternoon, except for the usual security guard, who barely acknowledged his presence.

The silence only amplified the thudding of Callum’s heart as he rode the elevator to the fiftieth floor.

On the way, he’d tried to steady his breathing and calm himself, but he was still reeling from the fact that Julian had spent his morning unable to focus.

Was he possibly the cause, or was that arrogant to think?

When the elevator doors slid open, Callum found Julian in the gym area.

The air was cool, but the atmosphere felt electric.

Julian was wearing a charcoal grey compression tank and white shorts that were both shorter and tighter than anything Callum had seen him in yet, leaving very little to the imagination.

Callum couldn’t help but stare, arms and legs fully on display today.

Maybe he wouldn’t feel so bad exercising in just his trunks after all…

“You're on time,” Julian remarked, his gaze sweeping over Callum’s casual jeans and sweater. “But you aren't really dressed for a workout. Is this a role reversal of our first session, perhaps?” Julian laughed at this point. Callum’s belly somersaulted with heat and did a perfect landing.

He took a breath, face flushing. “About that... I was out in town when I got your message, and I didn't have time to head back for my kit. I’m really sorry. I've got sporty trunks on underneath, but that’s it. If you’d rather reschedule...?” He deliberately left his words hanging.

Julian’s green eyes darkened as they tracked the line of Callum’s throat. “No, we aren't rescheduling. If you remember, I threatened to workout in my underwear after our first session when I wore a bloody suit.” Julian laughed again.

Callum noticed.

He seemed more relaxed than usual.

Callum thought, do I go to the bathroom to get undressed, or what? But deciding they were the only two there, he just started taking his clothes off.

Julian walked over and sat on one of the visitors chairs, in a position that conveniently afforded the best view of the action. He had clearly decided he was going to watch the impromptu strip show Callum was about to give. OK, fine, let’s do this, Callum thought to himself.

Stripping down in the middle of the office space felt like a slow-motion performance.

Firstly, he removed his shoes and socks, placing them neatly in a pile to the side.

He then took off his sweater. He wasn’t wearing anything under it, so he was bare-chested from now on.

He folded the sweater and laid it on top of the shoes.

He was surprised that he felt incredibly nervous, and suddenly very self-conscious, despite only missing a thin layer of fabric he would normally wear in the form of either a vest or T-shirt.

Much like Julian, that was his workplace armour, and he felt exposed without it.

He looked over at Julian, who was watching him like a predatory hawk, eyes dark but the hint of a smile on his face.

When Callum rolled down his jeans and stepped out of them, standing in nothing but his tight black trunks, the air in the room got heavier. Julian was definitely checking him out, staring at his bulge the thin fabric couldn't hide.

Callum gave an apologetic smile. “Sorry boss, you caught me with my pants down!”

Julian sniggered and got up from the chair.

At this point, the roles reversed as Callum noticed the lump in Julian’s tiny shorts, clearly larger than it was before.

Well, this isn’t going to be at all awkward, Callum thought to himself as they began the workout.

They started with the usual warm-up, but the professional veneer was now paper-thin, harshly eroded by the sheer amount of flesh on show.

Every time Callum spotted Julian, the CEO’s eyes wandered to his groin, and Callum was just as guilty, tracking the way Julian’s muscles flexed in his revealing gear. The air was thick with hunger, both men visibly aroused, their breathing far too heavy for the warm-up.

Callum did his best to take Julian through their usual moves but could tell that neither man was really focused on the exercises, and every slight contact was charged with electricity.

When Julian lay back to start a set of leg raises, the reality of his situation became impossible to ignore.

The thin white fabric offered zero camouflage; the heavy outline of his arousal was obvious and unmistakable, the silhouette of his need pulsing with every jagged breath he took.

Callum had to look away and walked to the water cooler to get himself a drink.

By the time he returned, Julian had adjusted himself, so things were slightly less obvious, but concealing that dick was pretty impossible, especially in tiny shorts.

They next focused on the core, mountain climbers were done, plank hold was done, Julian’s compression tank was by now soaked.

Callum’s chest was similarly wet, but his sweat just ran down his body, making his defined abs glisten in the orange afternoon sun as it cast streaks of light through the tall windows.

Callum moved on to the dreaded glute bridge. This was an exercise where your shoulders and feet are flat on the floor, legs bent, and you thrust your hips upwards. This was the most revealing of all the exercises they usually performed.

Julian got down and started this, but it was practically pornographic, his shorts barely able to contain what was inside.

Callum was holding Julian’s feet down on the floor, counting the reps, trying not to look, failing miserably.

He couldn’t help suppressing a giggle; this just looked so ridiculous. The entire situation was so ridiculous.

Julian stopped, earnestly confused. “What are you laughing at, Callum, am I not doing this correctly?”

“Oh yes, it’s all looking very correct, Julian.” he replied, unable to hide his cheeky smile.

“Nope, I’m not having it, you get down here and show me then, let’s reverse roles shall we…?” Julian challenged playfully, a glint of mischief in his green eyes.

Callum was up for it. “You’re the boss,” he said, with a smile. He squatted down on the floor and into the position, Julian giving him the same foot hold.

Callum started the movement, but after the first three thrusts, Julian hadn’t even clocked a single count.

“Hey, no fair. That’s three reps I’ve done already, where’s my count?” He looked up at Julian, who seemed both tortured and transfixed, his face distant.

“Hey, Julian, you okay?” Callum asked, concerned that he wasn’t feeling well.

It was like something clicked in Julian’s brain.

He moved like a jaguar; he didn't hesitate.

In a split second he pulled Callum’s legs down under his own, shrugged his shirt off, now bare-chested, and knelt, legs either side of Callum’s, straddling him and laying his top half down so his body was fully on top of Callum’s. They were now matched shirtless, skin touching.

Callum was shocked; Julian’s body was heavy and hot as a furnace on top of him, their dicks were rubbing together through the thin fabrics they were both straining at.

Fuck! There’s no going back now, thought Callum….

Julian’s face was large, close to Callum’s, hot breath on his face. Callum was mesmerised by Julian’s eyes up close, the deep green, stunningly beautiful.

Julian spoke, voice low, hungry. “I’ve wanted to kiss you since the first time I laid eyes on you. May I?”

Callum sniggered at the formality, the requesting permission. “Yes, Julian, you certainly may.”

Julian’s eyes flashed brightly, his breath hitched, and without hesitation he leaned in, crashing his lips hungrily against Callum’s.

It wasn't the bang-bang encounter Callum had feared. It was passionate, wanting, and filled with the depth he’d sensed in Julian all along. It went on for what seemed like forever: tongues exploring, bodies grinding, hands reaching. Callum didn’t want it to end.

He felt like he was falling in space, all air squeezed from his body, as a rush of heat and energy flowed over him.

It was the most amazing kiss Callum had ever experienced.

***

Julian’s years of repressed longing had finally found their course.

Eleven days of nothing but wanting to kiss this guy, constantly holding back, being the Titan he had to be, had caused him such anguish. This was the sum of all those years and days, to this point in his existence. Not life; existence.

The kiss went on for what seemed an eternity. It tasted of salty sweat and raw, unchecked need from both of them.

Julian’s hands moved from Callum’s waist to the back of his neck, his fingers tangling in Callum's hair, pulling him closer, deeper, as if he were trying to pull Callum’s very soul into his lungs.

He arched his hips downward, pushing his erection into Callum’s, hot dicks grinding together.

He uttered a low, guttural moan vibrating against Callum’s mouth as they both satiated their need.

A vast office floor.

A huge open space.

The only life: two sweaty bodies entwined. The only sound: the wet, rhythmic intensity of an enduring kiss and the frantic rasps of their breathing.

When they did eventually pause, they stayed frozen in place, nose to nose, looking deeply into each other’s eyes. Much was said in that moment, yet no words were uttered. Sweat dripped from Julian’s forehead onto Callum’s cheek, their bodies a sticky hot mess from writhing with sensual passion.

Julian unravelled as he stared into Callum’s eyes.

There was no mask, no corporate identity, not a care in the world.

His face was relaxed, his pupils dilated, his green eyes vibrant.

This was the most open Callum had ever seen him.

This was everything, his face astoundingly beautiful and open in that moment.

Julian finally spoke. “I’m not sorry for doing that, but I just couldn’t do this anymore, the holding back, the fucking pretence, playing the role I always have to play.” He paused and closed his eyes. Callum remained silent; he sensed Julian needed to say more.

After a few seconds, he opened his eyes and continued. He spoke slowly and clearly with words that Callum heard, understood, and would forever be etched on his heart.

“I can no longer pretend I don’t want you more than I want my very next breath.”

Callum choked with emotion, and his eyes filled with tears that ran down either side of his temples. Julian embraced him, pulling him up into a seated position, his massive, hot body wrapped around him, legs and arms encasing, holding him close, barely a millimetre of space between them.

In that moment, Callum felt seen, he felt protected, he felt like something had begun. Most importantly, he felt loved.

Julian rocked Callum gently in his arms. This beautiful man. He was aware of their physicality, his glass office walls were still there, the city still sprawling fifty stories below them. But with this guy in his arms, he didn’t feel the need to hide anymore.
