Chapter 30 #2
“Trust me, Baby, I’ll come all over that tongue one of these days, but if I do it today then the fun is over. I want to fuck you.” He quit arguing at that point and reduced me to nothing but moans using his tongue and fingers.
I hadn’t realized men could only come once. Well, I hadn’t known—before him—that I could come more than once. Or what coming was. The thoughts fractured as he forced my orgasm on me. I wasn’t going to complain. My body quaked from the pleasure as he crawled over me.
He was pressing into me before I had a chance to catch my breath. I locked my heels behind his back, holding him close to me. It was amazing how connected I felt to him when we were pressed together, him invading my body. I never wanted it to end. We could just stay here together, forever.
He began moving and suddenly I was wishing it would end. The friction of his dick thrusting inside of me was building me back up. I was frantic, nails digging into his back as I begged him to make me come.
“That’s it. What a good fucking girl. Beg me. Fuck me back. Come all over my cock.”
My breath was ripped away as I followed his command and broke apart again.
He let out a tormented sound as my pussy rippled around his length. “Fuck, Sloane. I can’t wait to marry you.” He started thrusting harder. “Again. To fuck you every day. To make you mine in every way.”
His groan was low and tormented as he thrust into me one last time and held still.
His chest was heaving as he enjoyed his own orgasm.
I watched the exquisite agony pass over his face, happy I could give that to him.
Even happier he did it for me. It wasn’t going to be hard to be married to this man.
“I love you,” I told him, brushing my lips over his as he lowered down.
“I love you, too, Sloane,” he said, then rested his head between my breasts.
We’d hardly caught our breath, when Rip hopped up to his feet. I watched him curiously as he searched around for his clothes.
“Guess I should have started with this,” he said, pulling a box from the inside of his cut.
I sat up, stretching languid muscles. It hadn’t taken him very long to convince me that he not only didn’t mind my scars, but that he found them beautiful in their own way.
They’re a part of you and I love you, is how he’d explained it.
That plus him appreciating that each mark was a time where I’d stood up to Ethan, taking my life in my hands—usually in service of another—made them badges of honor in his eyes.
It made my heart melt into a pile of goo.
It was hard to feel self-conscious about them in his presence.
I gasped as Rip walked back over and flipped the top on the box. A huge diamond winked at me, reflecting the light. The white gold band on either side of the center stone was twisted into a representation of a dolphin.
“I hope you like it,” he said, sitting back down beside me. “I wanted to put a little bit of me into it and the ocean is like a second home for me.”
“I love it,” I told him, awe filling my tone. “I’ve never seen the ocean, but I swear I’ve been dreaming of it my entire life.” I looked at it in wonder. “We didn’t have anything other than basic rings, no other real jewelry in The Order.”
He looked startled. I wasn’t sure which piece of information prompted the response, but he pulled me into his arms then pulled the bare gold band off my finger, replacing it with his. “Did you want to keep these?” he asked, pulling his band off.
“No,” I told him firmly. “I don’t want anything Ethan gave us. I’ll get you my own ring as soon as I get a job.”
He stilled behind me. “You can get a job if you really want to, Angel, but I’d rather you didn’t.”
I turned in his arms and stared up into his handsome face. “Why not?”
“The thought of letting you out of my sight for eight to twelve hours a day…” His throat bobbed as he swallowed. “It kind of makes me feel overly protective. I’ll do my best to keep it under control, but I can’t guarantee anything.”
“How am I supposed to support myself if I don’t get a job?”
He snorted then tugged me closer, until our bodies were pressed as close as they could be. “I’ll support you. What’s mine is yours and though I don’t tell many people this, I have more than enough.”
Worry infused me. It wasn’t that I didn’t want my husband to take care of me. It was just hard.
“I get it,” he said, making me wonder if I’d said any of my fears aloud.
“You just came from a place where everything was forced on you. You had no rights to exercise your own choices. But I’m promising you now, you’re free to make them with me.
I may not always like them, but I’ll do my best to respect them. ”
I turned in his arms, my thighs straddling his and kissed him. “Thank you.” Somehow he’d managed to understand exactly how I felt, what I needed. “I’m not in a hurry to get a job. If something finds me, speaks to me, then maybe I’ll pursue it.”
He nodded and pulled my head down again for another searing kiss. “I can live with that.”
“I have a favor to ask.”
“What’s that, Angel?”
“I was serious when I said I didn’t want to keep anything Ethan gave.” I motioned to the clothes that were spread on the ground from where we’d thrown them. “Can I buy some new clothes?”
“Absolutely. I’ll take you shopping tomorrow. I’ll also work on getting you added to my accounts as soon as Rat finishes with all the documents. He’s making you a driver’s license as well.”
My eyes widened. “But I don’t know how to drive.”
“Don’t worry, I’ll teach you.”
I squealed as he stood with me in his arms. “What are you doing? Put me down!”
“Never,” he said with a salacious grin. “We’re going to bed, Angel, so we can keep celebrating.”
I buried my face in his neck, hiding my smile from him. How was it possible that this gorgeous, perfect man had infiltrated my life and stolen my heart? I promised both of us, silently, that I’d do anything it took to keep him happy and well-loved for the entirety of our lives.
