Chapter 13 Casters Letter
*Sound of tapping fingertips*
I've been tapping my fingers on the table while looking out the huge window with my books scattered around the desk.
It's amazing that these windows are big enough to fit a giant, I can see the whole view of my garden, the storage area, as well as the blue sky.
This place is a perfect spot for me to think about my plans.
Hm? I notice some people near the storage area. Why is everyone busy going in and out bringing huge boxes and bags inside the storage area?
Oh! I forgot winter is coming. Wow, time do flies so fast. People in this world always have huge storage area for food, they used it especially in winter. They store food for survival, it's difficult to find food in winter.
Back in my world, we only have two seasons.
The country that I grew up is near the equator, that's why we only have sunny and rainy season.
Also, as far as I can remember, my first winter here was traumatic.
I'm just happy I survived in the cold but I'm getting the hang of it.
With proper knowledge and supportive people, you can do the impossible.
But I still don't like winter.
Anyhow, It was intriguing that this realm shares 50% of its cultural parallels with the European nations in my world in terms of styles, climate, physical characteristics, language, and even styles.
Hays.
Even though the real Estelle told me that I would lose some of my memories. I'm still fortunate to remember some of the things that I once loved. Well...
I believe that emotions are difficult to forget; even if you do, you will always remember them.
Sometimes I get confused, it's because another memory from my past has been lost, I occasionally may not understand why I am sad or angry.
I suppose I never got the opportunity to ask the real Estelle how to end it.
Since my memories are a part of who I am, I sincerely don't want to forget about my family or my background.
(Creaking sound of the door)
(Footsteps approaching)
(Flipping sound of paper)
*Gasps*
Tsk . Annoying!
My left eyebrow raised as I heard my brother's remarkable comment. I didn't look and just ignored them, still reading the book that I was holding.
I had to restrain myself from considering beating my brother because I'm actually going to punch this b*tch up.
*laughing*
The two laugh like crazy little boys. Such Dumbass.
Sir Clayton said, "Captain, I think she's possessed by the devils inside the book. Her distinct way of conversing is indeed unique; I hardly understand some of the words."
I stood up and threw them some books, and both of them rushed, jokingly laughing, "GET OUT! You bloody evil spirits!"
*knock!* *knock!*
Ollie entered the library with a charming smile after knocking on the door. She extends a bow to Sir Clayton and my brother.
They both grin at Ollie and she say, "Good afternoon, my lady, young master, and Sir Clayton Kirstentine."
Ollie enthusiastically approached me and said, "My lady, you have an invitation letter from the House of Casters." She then proudly handed me the letter.
My brother questioned Ollie, "Pardon me, is it appropriate for a lady to visit the unmarried man first?"
I grinned. "Exactly, Ollie, fair point." It is interesting to see my brother with furrowed brows.
I cut him off by yelling, "No!" because if he continued, my brother may start acting like a detective. I cast a sideways glance towards my brother. He looks funny, and I'm ecstatic at his unhappy expression.
Sir Clayton who was grinning like a loon, finally said, "A friend, crystal clear, my lady."
This past few months, I've been thinking about Damien and our short meetings every time I go out.
He always look dashing in my eyes, and my heart just keeps on beating fast.
It all happened so quickly at first that I was baffled.
I've been having dreams about him and wondering about his life ever since he saved me from the wolves.
I'm not sure, but it seems too quick for me to be crushing on him.
I never felt this way towards Vladimir; I think Damien is different. Perhaps I'm beginning to like him and I'm just hiding it out of fear of being hurt or something similar.
Ollie gave me the bottle with much excitement, "Yes, my lady, here it is."
I smell the perfume I purchased, and it has a Damien-like scent.
Ollie questioned, "Is he?"
What? Even weirder, am I the only person who can smell his perfume?
Then all of a sudden, he snatched the perfume that I was holding. I couldn't react quickly it was fast.
*Sniff*
Am I going crazy? No, I'm certain about the smell. It's legit, I can tell. The aroma is truly wonderful, but there's something about it. It's like a combination of light and dark auras. Maybe it's not the smell; it's just the dark particles from other places full of negative energy.
I'll just have to neutralize it, like I did before.
I have this talent of neutralizing the negative energy of people as well as their mana.
People have both positive and negative energy, which can affect their lives and health.
People who have a greater level of mana are usually more susceptible to negative energy that can corrupt their mental or physical health.
That's why they go to the priests or saintesses to neutralize their mana or energy.
However, how did he get that negative energy?
Is he fighting demons or monsters secretly.
Anyway, I have to prepare now; I'll just ask him later.
I smiled victoriously when I heard Sir Clayton's chuckles.
