Chapter 25 The Cave
Both Sanri Village and Berkin Village were attacked by terases. People are panicking, and they fear that the Teras will find them, who were hiding inside the caves.
*Boom* The noises from different explosives can be heard inside the cave; the earth is shaking, and everyone's faces are all confused, hoping and frightened for the safety of their lives.
A man suddenly screamed and stood up. He was shaking, and his eyes were unfocused. The man then spoke in a panic tone, "The Berkin village as well as the Sanri village are cursed! Everyone is dying and everything is crushed! We are all going to die! Those monsters will eat us alive!"
*crowd gasps* *sobbing*
*people mumbling and sobbing*

ESTELLE'S POV
*gasping for air*
*crackle*
*GRAWLING TERAS*
My eyes are blurry, and my consciousness is fading. Am I going to die? Or I'm just using too much mana?

WHITE WITCH'S POV
I carried the lady towards the cave; thank goodness she's light as a feather, or else it would be hard for me to carry her all the way.
As we arrived at the entrance of the cave, I saw two men pointing daggers at me.
Civilians? There are people hiding in the cave; this is dangerous. A lot of teras are in the area; what are we going to do?
The people are scared to death and seem suspicious, but they understand the situation and let us enter the cave.
A man handed me a towel and said, "Use this to stop the bleeding, lady."
As I lay down, I noticed her slow movement.
I let go of her and looked at the entrance of the cave as we heard a loud noise.
*BOOGSH!*
*RAWRR*
A loud roar of the teras was heard inside the cave; the ground was shaking, and the people were hysterically screaming.
People are running inside the cave but realize there is no way to run; we are trapped inside. Looking at them, they are all tired and scared that these hundered people will die in front of my eyes because I'm powerless now.
I look at her. She stood there wearing her cold, beautiful face, looking so serious at the entrance, waiting for the teras to come. What is she planning to do now?
I was about to take her hand again, but I was pushed by a thick vine covering half the area of the cave, leaving her in front of the entrance.
The vines are fast enough to cover the cave, as I saw Lady Estelle's figure with a glowing light in her hands, trying to make it as big as possible.
What is she doing!? She used too much mana; her body can't take it any longer!
I was about to cut down the vines, but suddenly a loud explosion was heard, and everything went white. My ears can't hear a thing. I covered my ears, and lastly, I saw others screaming, and everything was in slow motion.
I fell to the ground and am still recovering my ears from the shock. I need to lead the people to the hole, where it leads to another path. I hardly stand and am trying to persuade everyone to follow my lead.
The vines became thick like a wall; I can't see the lady now. I need to first keep these people safe before I return and save you, lady!
Please tell me it's not too late.
