Chapter 28 #2

I could go on forever, just stay in this bubble of sex and heat and sweat until the sun sets, then rises again, but with every thrust, I come closer to the edge.

“Lind,” I moan, “baby, I…I’m so close.”

It’s meant as a warning, my right hand reaching between our knot of limbs to wrap around his erection, but he slaps it away, then pulls me closer.

“Don’t. I want…we said without…touching.” He gasps, his blunt nails digging into my back hard enough to leave marks. There’ll be questions and laughs in the locker room, and for one absurd moment, I think about telling them who scratched me up like this, let myself imagine their faces.

“Please let me make you come, sweetheart. It doesn’t have to be hands-free. I just want…want to see you unravel while I pound into you. Want you to mark me up before I empty inside of your tight ass and—”

I don’t get to finish that sentence because Linden’s moans cut me off.

He arches off the bed, every muscle in his body tensing, his ass clamping down on my dick like a vice.

I hiss, cursing when I don’t manage to fight my orgasm off any longer.

And then, the moment I release into him, his hot cum spills between our bodies.

I collapse on top of him, heaving and gasping, then roll to the side so I won’t crush him beneath me.

I must have blacked out for a moment because when I blink my eyes open again, Linden is lying on his side, facing me. He slowly traces my nose and lips with his fingers.

“Jus’ rested my eyes for a sec,” I mumble, and he smiles.

“Rest them some more,” he tells me, but I’m already reaching for his hand, leading it to my lips.

“How do you feel?”

“Thoroughly fucked?”

I snort at that, and he grins, lazily stretching in his naked state. It’s the first time that I see him so completely comfortable in his skin, and it does something to me—a tingle that starts in the pit of my stomach, then spreads all over my body.

“You’re shivering,” he observes when our eyes lock again, then reaches for the blanket. “Wait, I’ll—”

“No! No, I’m good, just aftershocks,” I promise, not wanting him to move even an inch out of my reach. Instead, I pull him closer, his naked body against mine, the mess on our abs sticking us together.

“Ugh.” Linden sighs, but the corners of his lips twitch with a suppressed laugh, gray eyes twinkling. And once again, the shivers return.

“Are you sure you’re not cold?” he asks with a frown.

I shake my head again. “I’m fine, really. How about you? Are you sore?”

“I’ll probably feel that tomorrow, but it was so worth it.” His cheeks are rosy with a healthy flush. My chest swells with an odd sense of pride.

We can do that again, I want to tell him, twenty—no, two hundred more times! We still have so much time until September. The words are right there, dancing on the tip of my tongue, but I don’t manage to get them out. Instead, they clump together and form a big lump that gets stuck in my throat.

Linden’s stomach rumbles, and the moment passes.

“Sorry. Way to ruin a moment.” He instinctively puts a hand on his stomach, then grimaces when his fingers touch the mess we made.

“Wait, I’ll get you cleaned up and then raid the kitchen.” I sit up, my hands grabbing his shoulders to press him back down to the mattress. “Stay here and let me take care of you.”

For a second, I’m sure he’ll protest, lips already parted, but then he sinks back into the sheets. “Thanks,” he hums, his fingers tangling with mine and giving them a quick squeeze before he lets go.

I clean myself up with some wet wipes and toilet paper, then return to Linden’s bedroom with a fresh towel. I soaked one end with warm water so he can rub the cum off his stomach. Stepping into my boxers, I try not to stare. For a moment, I regret having wasted the chance to lick him clean.

“Any preferences?” I ask to distract myself from these thoughts. I don’t know where this sudden urge is coming from, but I want to wrap him back into his blanket and feed him his favorite meal, then fuck him all over again. Show him how he deserves to be treated before he runs back to Colin.

Get a fucking grip, Micah.

“Anything is fine. A sandwich, maybe? I don’t want you to spend all night in the kitchen.” He gives me a shy smile when his stomach rumbles again, and this time, mine joins in. We both laugh, awkward and embarrassed.

“I’d better make two.” I scratch my neck, a lopsided grin on my lips as I take him in one more time before leaving the room for the kitchen. In my mind, I’m already trying to find a day when we can repeat all of this—maybe in the shower or up in my room while our roommates sleep peacefully.

Halfway down the stairs, I come to an abrupt stop. The soft murmur of TV chatter drifts in from the living room, interrupting my half-baked plans and causing my heart to sink. One of our roommates must have returned home while we were…busy.

Oh fuck.
