Puff was sitting in the library with Paris and Atticus, while Mateo was outside training.
“While you reply to Padraic, I’ll look on the council website and pull up the names of anyone marked rogue by your father,” Paris said, opening his laptop.
Puff clicked his tablet on and opened his emails, shaking his head at how many there were. So many emails.
“Some are from me. I’ve copied you in on some. You just need to glance over them, but you don’t need to do anything,” Paris told him.
Okay, thanks.
Puff opened the forwarded message from his brother and started to type.
Hi Padraic,
Peyton passed your message on to me. Firstly, please accept my apologies for not phoning you, but I currently have no voice, on account of Bob and I recently scorching our throat.
Secondly, now that I am king, I want to invite you back into the family. Father was a complete dick kicking you out, but then he kicked me out when I was fourteen, so I’m not surprised.
Thirdly, thank you for the warning. We know Barnabus is trying to build an army. He is currently attacking packs to recruit new members to the Hayes Pack. He killed Alpha Hayes and is now inhabiting his body.
Is there a way you can safely find out if any rogues are seriously considering joining Barnabus? If not, don’t worry, we can find another way.

Puff looked at Paris. While you’re on the council website, can you let them know that Padraic and his family are no longer rogues?
“I have literally just done that,” Paris replied.
“It can sometimes take weeks for the reversal notice to appear on the council website,” Atticus told them. “Puff, I understand you have the passwords to access the network. You should be able to access the files and approve the request now.”
I saw that email. Let me find it. Puff searched and found the email he needed and forwarded it to both Atticus and Paris. I’ve just sent the email to both of you, so you can both have access as well.
“I can understand Paris having access as he is your regent, but why give me access?” Atticus asked.
Because you are one of my ambassadors and my mate. There might be times I need you to access it for me.
Atticus smiled at him. “I promise not to use this power for evil.”
Paris burst out laughing, and Puff silently laughed.
Nutter.
“You’re a nutter,” Atticus said, smiling softly at him.
Puff nodded and blushed. Okay, let me see if I can find the notice, then I can tell Padraic to check the website and see that they are no longer rogues.
After searching for a little while, Puff found the document and clicked the approved button. Done.
Puff went back to his cousin’s email.
PS, check the council website.
Sorted. Hopefully he can help; if not, we’ll need another option.
“If you’ve not already sent the email, ask if he can get hold of a copy of the email,” Paris said.
Okay, I’ve not sent it yet.
PPS, can you try and get a copy of the email? Again, if not, don’t worry.
Anything else before I hit send?
“No, I think that’s everything,” Paris said. “It will be good to see Padraic and his family again.”
It will. We can offer them a place here.
“We can,” Paris agreed.
