Chapter Fifty-Eight
Axe and I have spent the day in bed since we were up all night.
Staying up all night really messes with your sleep schedule.
When the sunrise started, Axe and I ran with Lizzy back to the boundary line because her mate mind linked her.
We agreed she would speak to her mate about everything and then we'd meet her at the boundary line again tomorrow night.
I'm excited she's staying close to know me.
I roll over with a groan from my headache.
“Axe, we should really eat,” I mumble, slapping my hand against his arm to wake him up.
“Mm,” he hums.
“Staying up all night was stupid,” I mumble. The door downstairs opens but neither of us move. The footsteps sound until the door to our room opens.
“What are you guys doing sleeping?” Dash asks.
“We were up all night,” Axe says.
“Nice.” Dash smirks.
“Not like that, you idiot,” Axe grumbles and sits up.
“I came by this morning. You were sleeping,” Dash says.
“I'm up.” Axe lazily gets out of bed while I lie there.
My stomach rumbles like crazy so I get out of bed and go down to the kitchen which is dark since neither of us have been down to turn on the lights.
I munch down on junk food before heading back to bed.
Since Axe is in the office with Dash, I decide to call Carson.
I tell her about my mother and she's happy for me.
Then I check in with Amelia. She says she's getting ready for a party, so we discuss another time to talk.
I turn on the tv and just watch till I fall back asleep.
However, when Axe finishes talking with Dash, he comes in and wakes me up for sex.

Axe and I are running in our wolf form to go meet my mum. We carry our clothes in our mouths so we have something to wear when we see her. When we reach the boundary line, Lizzy is right there waiting for us.
“Hi Elora.” She leans in for a hug, which I welcome.
“Are you her mate?” Axe asks and it's just now I notice a man leaning against a tree a few metres away.
“Yes, this is Creed. Darling, this is my daughter Elora.”
“Hello sweetie.” He smiles and shakes my hand then shakes Axe's. After greeting we talk about what's going to happen with their stay.
“If you need any supplies, just ask,” Axe informs them.
Just like Lizzy mentioned the other day, she and her mate are turning their temporary shelter into a more permanent home.
They decided they'll stay here for three months and then go back to their other home for a month so Creed can see his son, then they'll come back here for another three months and so on. That's their plan for this year.
“Thank you, Alpha.” Creed nods his head in respect.
“Well it's getting late and Creed and I have a lot of work to do with the shelter,” Lizzy says.
“Okay, how do I contact you when I want to see you?” I ask her.
“I'll meet you here every night. And once we fix up the shelter, you can visit anytime you want.” Lizzy smiles.
“It was lovely meeting you, Elora. I've wanted to meet Lizzy's daughter for a long time,” Creed says with a comforting smile. He gives off a father-like vibe.
“It's good meeting you too. I'm happy you found my mum and saved her from a life of loneliness,” I say. When I call her my mum, she tears up with a beautiful smile.
“I love you, Elora.” She pulls me into a tight hug, stunning me with her words.
I hold onto her tightly. Even though we haven't known each other long, I love her. I can feel she's a part of me. She always has been but now that I've met her, that part of her is growing larger inside me. To have my mum here, it's so hard to describe the warmth I feel.
Axe and I head back to the pack and go home. We cook something quick for dinner, turn on the tv and spend a quiet night in the living room.
“Do you think it was strange the way Creed greeted me as alpha?” Axe asks.
“Not really. It surprised me too at first the way they're polite and formal. But when you think about it, they were once in packs so they would think it's normal to address hierarchy like that,” I say.
“I just figured rogues became untameable. Maybe everything I thought I knew about rogues is wrong.” Axe looks like he's thinking hard.

It's been a week and we have fallen into a comfortable routine.
I visit Lizzy every night and Axe brings them supplies to fix up their shelter.
During the day Axe and I spend the majority of it together, other than his office and vigorous gym time and my gardening time.
I might ask for a few shifts at work just to keep me busy.
Other than growing the garden, I don't do much work. Or maybe I can find a new hobby.
My phone rings and I see Ryleigh's name so I answer it.
“Do you want to hang out?”
“Sure,” I say.
“Come to the cafe. I just finished my shift.”
I drive to the cafe and sit on the bar stool. The cafe is closing soon and it's empty so Ryleigh is just wiping down the counters.
“What's up?” I ask.
“Dash asked me to move in with him last night.” Ryleigh sighs.
“Oh, are you happy about that?” I ask as carefully as I can, gauging her reaction.
“I love Dash but it's the werewolf thing. The pack lives in the outer area of the town. I constantly have to be in town for work and school so my schedule would be hard to manage. I kind of want Dash to move into my apartment,” Ryleigh explains.
“Have you talked to him about this?” I ask.
“No. It's just I don't want to be the only human in a werewolf territory. Does it sound stupid?”
“No, it's understandable. But Dash will always protect you and you've got Olly and me. Plus, Dash isn't really allowed to move out of the pack area since he's the beta,” I say.
She sighs. “What should I do?”
“Talk to him about it. If you're worried about work and school, we can come up with time management so you can do what you need to do. Besides, I have a part human life, working in the shopping centre, socialising with humans and stuff. You can still keep your human life in town and live with Dash,” I tell her.
“Thanks, I'll talk to him about it.”
“Anytime.”
