Chapter Eighty-Three

Look how long his hair is getting,” I tell Axe as I run my fingers through Cash's locks.

“I'm more amazed at how good my little man looks in a suit. He'll definitely be a looker for the ladies one day.” Axe grins as he does Cash's tie.

It is Brian and Olly's wedding today so we're getting ready.

Cash is the ring bearer. Even though he hasn't started walking yet, Axe is going to carry him down the aisle.

Cash is growing every day, though. He was already a big baby at birth but he's growing rapidly.

I get the feeling Cash will bulk out and turn out bigger than Axe one day, which is saying something because Axe is a massive brick wall.

After Axe gels Cash's hair we go outside in the waiting area for the bridal party.

Dash and Ryleigh are already waiting. They immediately grab Cash from Axe's arms and gush over how cute he is while we chuckle.

“You're so cute,” Ryleigh squeals, holding him close.

“Ours will be cuter.” Dash smiles at Ryleigh.

“With you being the daddy, he will,” Ryleigh says.

Axe and I look at each other with the same expression before looking back at them. Are they... They look at each other nervously, then back to us.

“We were keeping it a secret,” Ryleigh whispers.

“Oh my God, you're pr...” Axe covers my mouth with his hand.

“Don't be loud. They said it's a secret.” Axe gives me a pointed look but laughs.

“How did this happen?” I ask.

“Same way it happened with us.” Axe laughs.

“We didn't plan it,” Dash says. “But we couldn't be happier.”

“I'm actually nervous as fuck so we need to talk about this,” Ryleigh says to me. “But for now, let Olly have her spotlight.”

“Yeah, of course.” I smile.

The wedding starts and Brian stands at the end of the aisle.

The garden is beautiful, everything is green with pink flowers.

Olly joins us in the little tent that we're waiting in.

She looks beautiful with a sexy tightness to her dress.

The music starts and Axe and I walk out and take our place at the end of the aisle.

Then Dash and Ryleigh walk out and Dash takes his place right beside Brian.

The music changes and everyone stands and turns to the tent where Olly walks out.

She slowly walks down the aisle and smiles shyly, looking ahead at Brian.

Brian's expression is one of true love, his eyes glossy.

It's hard to believe Brian was a player.

The ceremony is performed, everyone smiling when they confess their vows. When it's time for the rings, Axe pulls the black box out of Cash's hands. Well, tries. Cash has been clutching the box since we gave it to him.

“Come on, Cash, let go of it,” Axe says. I watch with amusement as Axe tries to get the box. The audience laughs as Cash doesn't let it go.

“That's what you get for putting something in a baby's hands.” Dash laughs.

“Cash, give it to daddy,” Axe demands in a soft voice.

“Hold on.” I pull out a pacifier I was keeping tucked into my bouquet. I hold it in front of Cash and he reaches for it. I reach for the box and he lets it go once the pacifier is in his hands.

Brian and Olly put their rings on. After their kiss, all the guests applaud and they walk down the aisle, everyone tossing flower petals at them.

When Axe and I reach the tent, Cash reaches out for me and I take him into my arms. The photos are taken for the next hour and then everyone makes their way to the reception.

I spend most of the reception in my seat, eating my food and even grabbing food off Axe's plate.

“Would you like to dance?” Axe asks.

“You dance?” I stare at him in disbelief.

“Don't say I never offered.” He grabs his drink and takes a sip.

“I want to dance.”

I've had Cash on my lap all night so it'll be good to stand up and move around. Dash takes him from me and I grab Axe. He puts his hands on my hips and I wrap mine around his neck. We sway our bodies to the slow music.

“What do you think of the wedding?” I ask.

“It's a little girly for my liking; the garden and flowers,” Axe says.

“Oh really? And what would you do differently?”

“Black and gold theme. A huge hall decked out and covered in those colours for the ceremony.”

“Have you been thinking about it?” I push, and he smirks.

“Wouldn't you like to know?” Axe twirls me around and brings me back to him.

Axe and I dance for a while before we go back to our seats.

Dash gives his best man speech. I was technically the maid of honour but since I was busy with Cash, Ryleigh stepped up and helped Olly.

They look to me for a speech anyway so I just stand up and congratulate them both since I didn't write a speech.

The cake is served and I have my piece and fight Axe for his.

The rest of the night is full of dancing and socialising.

At the end of the night, I put Cash in his cot and Axe and I have sleepy sex. Well, I'm sleepy, he's tipsy. I'm asleep once he rolls off.
