20. Straight to Hell #2
“What the fuck? What the fuck? What the fuck? What the fuck?” I repeated to myself.
Luckily, Brick had the common sense to rush me away from the room before I could see my father’s manhood, but I still wanted to dunk my eyeballs in ammonia, then set them on fire.
He pushed me into the living room where the two of us just stood there looking at each other in shock.
This was the second time since I met him that I had seen him completely speechless.
It took less than a minute for my dad to come rushing out as he buttoned his slacks. Stasha was on his heels with her wrinkled dress on inside out.
“Destiny… Let me explain,” Stasha said as she reached for me. I jerked back so fast that I almost got whiplash.
“Bitch, don’t you dare touch me with my daddy’s dick on your fingers!”
“Destiny, watch your damn mouth!” My dad snapped.
“Nigga, you don’t tell her to do shit!” Brick popped off, and I turned to him, knowing that he could potentially make this horrible situation even worse.
“She’s still my child!” Coop argued.
“Yeah, but she call me Daddy now. Ain’t that right, Peep?” Brick teased pulling me into his chest. I didn’t confirm or deny, but he may have earned a few Ooh, shit Daddy’s out of me when he hit this one particular angle from the back. Coop looked over at me in disgust.
“No, no, uh-uh! We need to focus on the topic at hand! Speaking of children, I just caught you sleeping with someone young enough to be your daughter… in my bed!” I yelled, jaw dropping as my body reacted to the shock of the words that I just said.
The realization hit that they were probably fucking in my apartment because they couldn’t do it in the church anymore due to its current status as an ashtray.
“She seduced me!” he yelled pointing at Stasha. “Always coming around with her titties and ass out! What was I supposed to do, Destiny?”
“Um, maybe not stick your dick in her. Just a suggestion,” Brick answered.
“Me?” Stasha yelled, waving him off. “Be for real, Isaac! I’m sorry Des, but we’re in love. This is way more than just sex!”
“Love? You're a fucking hypocrite! Both of you!
All this talk about walking the right path and resisting temptation!
You made me feel like something was wrong with me for wanting to be normal.
The whole time this is what y'all were on?” I was beyond disgusted.
My stomach turned at all the times Stasha had come around, and I realized that she could have been sleeping with him the whole time.
“How long have y’all been doing this?” I asked with my eyes narrowed.
“She was legal, don’t even go there, Destiny. This started in the past few years.”
“I’m sorry, did I miss the point in the last few years where you and Sarah got a divorce?
You’re still married, nigga!” By that point, my respect for both my parents was long gone, especially after the shit they put my sister through.
I didn’t give a fuck that he cheated on her, what I cared about was the fact that he acted so holy when he was out here movin’ like the worst kind of nigga.
“You're one to talk! Being judgmental while you’re standing over there with that thug! You expect me to believe he's not turning you into a slut? Look at yourself!”
WHACK!
I turned my head just in time to see the barrel of Bricks gun go straight across that man’s face.
If I would have blinked too hard, I would have missed it.
I heard many tales of the infamous pistol whip before, but I had never seen it in action.
My mouth dropped to hell, but obviously this wasn’t the first time because Coop didn’t even react to getting his shit cracked.
“Nigga, I dun gave you way too many passes. Play with me or her again and see what the fuck happens! Next time it’s gon’ be that ugly ass house!
Now go ‘head, Baby. Tell this bitch ass nigga what’s on your mind,” he said, crossing his arms and urging me to give a reply.
I turned back to them with a repulsed expression on my face.
“For the record, your wife wants you dead. She tried to get me to call off the wedding the week before. Meanwhile, I’m a happily married woman. He takes care of me. He’s paying for me to go to school, and he’s doing it without asking for anything in return,” I said defiantly.
“Yeah, let’s see how long that lasts,” Coop mumbled while holding his swollen jaw.
“As long as we want it to, fuck nigga!” Brick answered.
“Wait...” Stasha turned to me. “What do you mean she wanted him dead so she tried to get you to call off the wedding?”
“Oh, the man you’re in love with didn’t tell you?” I asked, voice laced with sarcasm. “This nigga was stealing money from Brick’s mom, so to save his own ass, this honorable man of God sold me to them. I was just lucky that it worked out.”
Stasha’s face fell as a horrified expression took over.
“Wait… Stealing money?” Stasha looked between us. “How much?” I mugged her. She didn’t give a fuck about anything I said other than that.
“A few million,” I spat, glaring at Coop.
“A few million, and all you were giving me was a thousand a month? Nigga, you told me you would pay for me to go back to school! And you told me I had to get rid of our fuckin’ baby because you couldn’t afford another kid while you over here sitting on millions of dollars?
” she hollered as she hauled off and hit him.
Brick and I looked at each other, mouths open as we watched them like they were an episode of the messy reality TV shows we snuck and watched on weeknights. He would never admit it, but he was clearly just as tuned in for the mess as I was.
“You think we should give these two lovebirds a minute?” I asked.
“Fuck nah,” he shot back. “I’m about to go make some popcorn.”
“Brick!” I snorted through my laughter making them look at me like I was wrong. “Go ahead,” I urged. That made Stasha mad enough to stomp back to the bedroom, coming back with her purse before she grabbed her shoes by the door.
“I’m done, Isaac!” she said, turning to scream in his face.
“Done? What do you mean? Where the fuck you think you goin’?” he asked, stepping forward.
“I’m done with this! I could have been happily getting my back blown out by a nigga who don’t have to take pills to get it up to fuck me! You don’t even make me cum, Isaac!” she yelled.
“O-kay… I think I had enough,” I said, turning to Brick with disgust all over my face. “Let’s go. And for the record, both of y’all can go straight to hell.”
