The Wrong Exchange Student

The Rossis arrive at the airport expecting Davit from Tbilisi, in the country of Georgia, and meet Garrett Andersen instead—a handsome football player from Atlanta, in the state of Georgia.

Enzo Rossi, a music nerd finishing senior year in Irontown, Michigan, had hoped the exchange would bring someone who shared his world, not a star athlete living across the hall in his fading mining town.

Garrett is cool, attractive, and, to Enzo, unmistakably straight, and every clumsy remark Enzo makes draws a ready comeback.

Enzo dismisses him as a spoiled, cocky city boy, while Garrett decides Enzo is too stuck-up for his own hometown.

Garrett’s Southern charm quickly wins over the rest of Irontown, even as Enzo keeps stumbling over feelings he never planned to have.

The more time the two boys spend together, the harder it is for either of them to stay guarded or to keep misreading the other.
