Chapter 5
MADISON
I think I’m putting on a good enough show, trying to be patient while warming Seth’s cock. He’s filling me, but not moving.
But I’m getting desperate, because this is torture. The best kind of torture, but torture just the same. My clit pulses with my heartbeat, centering my desire. I can’t think of anything else, only this.
He palms my ass, squeezing me tight. “I can’t go another second without fucking you through and through.”
I rock my hips, signaling to him that yes, I am also ready to be fucked through and through.
He smacks my ass. He has to come at me from the side, because the steering wheel is in the way, but he still brings some heat through my dress to my skin.
“I haven’t said we could start yet,” he says.
“But you said you couldn’t go another second,” I whine, feeling my pussy clench around him. Why won’t he just fuck me? We both want it, and it would be fucking amazing. So why isn’t he moving already?
“Patience, little girl.” He sounds amused. Like this is funny.
I can’t stand it anymore. I lift up my hips, ready to ride him.
He smacks my ass again. “No, Miss M. It’s almost time.”
“Please,” I whisper.
“How bad do you want it?” His voice is low, rumbling.
“So bad.” I have no pride, no shame. Zero inhibitions. I’m a burning ball of need. “Please, Sir, please fuck me.”
“Mmm, I love hearing you beg. I love it when you’re so desperate for me.”
“I am, I’m desperate,” I assure him. If he doesn’t start moving soon, I’m going to try again. And then I’ll get spanked, which will only heighten my arousal. And the whole cycle will continue. “Please, Sir. Fuck me.”
“Unfortunately, I can’t get a good angle like this.” He sounds falsely regretful. “Such a shame.”
“I could fuck you—”
“No. You keep trying to take charge, brat, and I’m not having that tonight. Up you go.” He starts lifting me by the hips.
“No—”
He spanks me again. “You have to trust me, Madison.”
“Are you going to fuck me?” I ask.
He touches my chin, directing me to look into his dark eyes. “Are you going to trust me?”
I’m starting to understand. He’s asking me to trust him in more than this. “Yes—yes, I trust you.”
I allow him to maneuver me out of his lap. He opens his car door and steps out.
“Get on all fours, Miss M. Lean over the console.”
He’s going to fuck me like this? Out on this dirt road? I love it. I quickly scramble into place.
He lifts my dress up to my waist, exposing me to the cool November air. It’s especially cold when the air kisses my wet pussy. I wiggle in place. If he doesn’t fuck me soon, I think I’ll perish.
“Oh, I fucking love this ass of yours, little girl.” His breath warms over my skin, the only warning I get before he bites me.
I yelp in surprise, then moan as he starts kissing over the sting.
“Almost there.” He runs a hand over my ass, then I feel the head of his cock notched at my entrance. “Almost.”
I could push back, take what I want. It’s so tempting. But he’s the one in control. I gave him that control, and I trust him. He’ll take care of me.
He glides in, stretching my swollen pussy. I moan in relief. Soon, he’s fucking me with short, hard thrusts. Forceful. Rapid. Relentless. My orgasm explodes, washing through me almost immediately. I didn’t stand a chance in holding it off. I couldn’t have, even if I wanted to.
Seth lets out an evil chuckle while I ripple and shake around his length. Then he grunts out his own release, thrusting one last time before his hips go still. The only movement is his cock pulsing as he empties into me.
Breathless, we remain locked in place for some time. When goosebumps form over my skin, Seth pulls out and helps me up. He straightens my dress, spins me around, and kisses me.
I cling to him, grateful for everything he gave me, while realizing that nothing has been solved.
Kyle cheated on me, their parents will never accept me into their family, and worse—I’m starting to doubt everything my heart tells me.
I couldn’t believe Kyle, and I trusted him more than I trusted myself. I trust Seth—but should I?
SETH
After we get back in the car, Madison says quietly, “Would you mind taking me home? I want to be alone for a bit.”
My inner alarm goes off. I thought I’d fucked her insecurity away, but she’s acting strange.
“Alone? I don’t mind taking you home, but are you sure you don’t want company?” I ask. “We could fuck around some more, but in the comfort of a warm bed. Yours, mine, Damiano’s—any of them. Your pick.”
“Thanks. But I need some time to think.”
“Don’t spiral,” I tell her.
She laughs. “I won’t. Probably.”
I wish I’d left my parents in that warehouse. Madison is the sweetest, kindest woman I’ve ever met, and they’re trying to drive her away. If they’re successful, I’ll never forgive them.
They won’t be successful, though. I’d sooner cut them out of my life than allow them to separate me from Madison.
When we get to Madison’s driveway, two men are standing by the gate.
“What’s going on?” Madison sounds fearful. “Should we turn around? I don’t want any more drama tonight.”
I shake my head. “I know these guys. Hang on.” Rolling down my window, I greet Dan Buster and Kristoff Manolo. “Damiano sent you?”
They nod.
In the seat next to me, Madison is tense. Of all the absolute worst fucking times for Damiano to stick his nose in her business. Any other night, we could talk through it. But right now, she wants to be alone. Fuck.
I can’t get mad at Buster and Manolo—they’re only doing their job. So I nod at them and take the car through the gate, driving Madison up to her porch.
“Are you pissed?” I ask before she can open her door.
She gives me a little laugh. “I don’t know. I’m feeling way too many things right now. I can’t keep anything straight. Ask me next week, and maybe by then I’ll have it figured out.”
When I open my door to walk her up, she touches my arm, then leans over to kiss me on the cheek. “I’ll be fine from here. I love you.”
“I love you, too.” I’m numb. I feel like she’s getting farther away from me.
My feelings of love for her haven’t changed. Have hers?
MADISON
Of course Damiano would send some of the Nove men to protect me.
It’s just like him to jump in without being asked.
Mostly, I’m grateful. Grateful that he thinks of me, that he wants to help me.
I’m especially grateful that he believes I saw a face in my goddamn window, when even I am doubting my own eyes and mind.
But irritation is worming its way through me, chomping at pieces of my goodwill. He always steps in without asking. He didn’t consult me, he just ordered his guys here. What if I hadn’t wanted them? What if I said no? Would he listen? I doubt it.
I step inside the house and pull my phone from my bag. He left me a voicemail while I was at that absolute disaster of a Thanksgiving meal.
“Madison.” His voice is warm, but authoritative. “I’m sending Nove guards to stand at your gate. With your permission, they will periodically stroll through your grounds, but that is up to you. I’ve already informed Ironwood.”
I can’t believe this guy. I toss my phone on the couch and stick my tongue out at it. How typical that he would check in with my existing security company before he would check in with me.
“Heavy-handed,” I mutter toward my phone. “Absolutely overbearing.”
I make my way to the kitchen. Unsurprisingly, I didn’t eat much at the Coltons’ house. Sonia killed my appetite with her non-apology, and Seth and I left before the meal was finished.
Worst day.
I don’t have the energy for cooking, so I go to the pantry to find instant ramen.
I pause in the doorway of the tiny room.
The shelf is off-kilter. Cans and boxes of nonperishables have toppled off the shelves, with several spilled across the floor.
Some of the plastic and glass containers have broken.
A glob of mayonnaise mixed with broken glass congeals around a leaking box of corn flour.
A bottle of wine has cracked and slowly leaks like a murder victim.
What the fuck—was there an earthquake? I didn’t feel one at the Coltons’, but that doesn’t mean much.
Leaving the pantry, I take a closer look at the kitchen and living room.
Everything seems to be where it belongs.
No messes, no crooked pictures on the walls.
Returning to the pantry, I blink back tears. I don’t want to clean this shit.
Since no one is here to see me, I stop blinking and let the tears fall. I’m crying for Kyle, for Seth and Damiano, for my betrayed, confused, and bruised heart.
And I’m crying for the mess in my fucking pantry.
